Why Celestia and Luna are Immortal but Twilight and Cadance are not
As you know and mom and dad were natural Alicornals and that the royal sisters were born as alicorns themselves... well have you ever wondered why they were mortal and princess twilight and cadence are also alicorns but are not immortal. well because is the princess of friendship and cadence is the princess of love... now you do notice love and friendships don't last forever so there for it's not a mortal thing to royal for.. the reason why celestia and Luna are mortal because they have to rise the moon and sun which are mortal too. What your looking at of how a princess is mortal or not depends on what they rule over and since the sun and moon never die so wont the royal sisters and since there parents created the universe and world they would live all the way to the earth's death... but since Celestia really needs twilight so bad she used powerful magic to make her mortal which takes extra effort which is really hard even for a Alicorn
