Mine Little Pony: Adventures in Minecraft
Let's Play Block Hunt!
Previous ChapterNext ChapterApplejack didn't know where in all of Equestria they were going to. All she did know was that it was another world.
She didn't know how long they were spinning through the air, but they soon landed in a large room that was bustling with ponies, but everything had the same texture as the items in the game Minecraftia.
After getting settled, Applejack took a look around. There were several portals that had a sign over it. Ponies walked through the portals and disappeared somewhere.
Rainbow Dash looked up and shook her head after looking around. "No. Way," she said. Then her jaw dropped open. Then she zoomed up and started to fly around like crazy, screaming, "Omigoshomigoshomigosh!!!" Applejack was certain that she did a couple sonic rainbooms in the act.
When she got control of herself, she landed and started panting. "We're... in... Minecraftia!!!" She said.
Twilight rolled her eyes and laughed. "We can see that, you know, Rainbow." She walked around, looking at the signs above the portals. "Apparently we're in some sort of mini-game server with several portals that will lead you into a certain game that you can play."
Fluttershy read one of the game's signs and her ears flattened. "H-hunger games?" she whisper-shrieked, "I hear that there's... there's..."
"I know, Fluttershy," Rainbow answered, "But don't worry. We have health bars and everything, but we won't be able to feel the pain or anything like that. It's like a VR game, when it seems real but it isn't." Fluttershy seemed to calm down after that.
"Well, it seems like we'll be stuck here for quite a while," Applejack said, "So what do we do?"
Twilight shrugged. "I don't know," she said, then looked around and asked, "Has anypony seen Pinkie Pie?"
Suddenly, through the portal that said "Block Hunt", a pink pony head with a poufy magenta mane stuck out. "Psst!" it said, "Through here!" Yes, it was Pinkie Pie.
"Uh... Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked, "What's Block Hunt?"
"It's like hide-and-seek almost," Rainbow explained, "But you get to hide as a block or animal. There will be a hunter that will try and find all the hiders. And if the hunter... ah... 'destroys' you, you will become a hunter yourself. If you're a hider, the goal is to stay alive the longest. If you're a hunter, you're supposed to try and... well, hunt all the hiders down. You can choose classes, too. So let's not waste time and get going!"
She flew through the portal, followed by Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy. We found ourselves in a much smaller room with little pedestals that held items to represent your class. For hiders, there was the instant hider and swapper hider. For hunters, there was the leaper and the bomber.
The Mane Six were all hiders. When they arrived at the hiding map, Applejack's block was a cake. Not what she expected, but fine. In her inventory was a slime ball, which can turn you into any block in the map (but not things like leaves or dirt). She trotted around until she found a small kitchen counter that had other cakes in it. She hopped on it and stood in between two other cakes to blend in.
Pinkie Pie was a cake as well. Apparently, Applejack was hiding right next to her. She didn't know it was Applejack, but she knew it was someone.
Twilight was a bookshelf. Perfect. She hid amongst a pile of bookshelves that were at the corner of one house.
Fluttershy turned into a chicken, where she walked amongst the other chickens and pretended that she was one of them.
Rainbow Dash was a flower pot. Not what she had in mind, but she jumped from tree to tree until she was at the top of the tallest pine tree in the map. It would take a while for the hunters to get to her - and the flower pot was small, so she wouldn't be noticed easily.
Rarity was a crafting bench. She didn't know exactly what to do, but she hid next to another crafting bench so she could blend in.
Applejack sat there, waiting for something exciting to happen. Then thunder boomed, and the hunters were released. After a few seconds, the hiders recieved weapons - a bow and an axe that will get better the more ponies you shoot with the bow.
Suddenly Applejack saw the flash of iron armor. Readying her bow, she aimed at the hunter and prepared to fire.
But the hunter seemed to realize that there weren't supposed to be that many cakes on the counter, so he ran over and started hitting them.
As Rainbow had said, there was no pain. It was totally fine - it only felt like somepony's touching her. She tried to fire her bow but got sent to the hunters' ship anyway.
Meanwhile, Fluttershy was still trying to hide amongst the chickens. She found that the hunters like to start with the animals first, so she turned into a block and hid somewhere if a hunter was around the flock of chickens. Rainbow was still firing arrows from her pine tree, Rarity was still hiding and firing as well, Twilight swapping blocks if anything goes wrong.
Applejack and Pinkie Pie were both hunters now. They had seen Rainbow in the tree, but they couldn't get to her. They tried and tried, but they kept on getting sent back to the hunters' ship.
Soon Rarity and Twilight were found out, and they were hunters as well. They helped Pinkie and AJ hunt down Rainbow and Fluttershy.
"How do we get up there?" Rarity asked Twilight.
"Hmm..." Twilight looked at a house and saw the ladder hanging from one side. "Aha! Follow me, girls! I know just the way!"
The ponies climbed up the ladder and hopped from tree to tree. Rainbow didn't see them coming until Pinkie screamed, "YAAAAAAAH!!!" and dove for her. Rainbow sqeaked and flattened her ears in fear, but then jumped down and escaped. Pinkie fell off the tree and on the floor. She rubbed her head. "Ouch."
"Fluttershy! Watch out!" Rainbow called, as their friends headed towards the odd-chicken-out. Fluttershy turned and gave a squeak, then turned and ran around the corner and disappeared somewhere.
Time was ticking. Ten seconds left... Applejack galloped towards the fleeing flower pot, which was hopping towards a nearby house filled with stuff. Rainbow crashed against the wall while she was looking back at Applejack, and lost her footing and slowed down. Applejack tried to get at her, but time ran out and the hiders won.
"Good game, Rainbow," Applejack said, wiping her forehead. Twilight skidded to a stop behind her and placed the axe she was holding down.
"The game's over," she said, "but I'm afraid we'll have to do a few more different mini-games before we can find our way out."
