Spike and the Opposite Six

"Whaaaaaaaaaat?!" Shouted the opposite 6.

Spike flinched and rubbed his ear fins while the mane six were still lost.

"You're not our Spike?!" Said Gilda.

"He's in your head?!" Said Lightning Dust.

"You're from another world?!" Said Sunset Shimmer.

"Talk imposter!" declared Trixie grabbing him with a frown.

"Now Trixie, let's remain calm about this." spoke Fleur walking over and patting her back while looking at Spike. "Do you have proof that it's true?"

"Not unless I can pull the other me out of my head........*gulp*..."

"Why don't we find out?" Gilda frowned cracking her talons.

"Just try bitch!" Said Rainbow Dash, getting in between Spike and Gilda.

"Doing something very brutish is not what we need." spoke Rarity.

"I agree." Added Cherry. "Maybe Solar Flare will have some answers."

"So you suggest we take him to the princess?" asked Gilda in disbelief.

"Our trust may have been betrayed, but maybe she can help sort this out."

Spike flinched hearing that while the opposite six thought it over.

"Can we see the princess as well?" Asked Twilight.

"Well, you can follow us, but seeing her in case she doesn't believe you might lead to some trouble." replied Sunset.

"But where do we go now? We can't walk around, the people will just attack us." Said Pinkie.

"We'll surround you and lead the way so they'll think we took you as prisoners." spoke up Lightning.

"Thank you kindly." Said Aj.

"But I got my eye on you." frowned the griffon looking Spike in the eye with a scowl.

Spike only looked away in fear. The mane six got in the middle with the opposite six surrounding them as they all walked to the castle.

"It's okay everyone, we captured the bad guys." Trixie assured.

"Yes, they were very easy to defeat." spoke Fleur.

"And we're unsure if we should reform or execute them." Said Sunset.

"Execute them!" called a Diamond Dog.

"Chop off their heads!" Shouted a dragon.

"Make them eat dirt, said the totally cool pony." Said the totally lame pony.

The girls gulped as they entered the castle with the crowd calling out for their deaths outside.

"The citizens are unanimously cruel today." Said Cherry. "You think you'd know a town until you talk about the choice of death or reformation."

"Let's just talk to the princesses about what we learned." frowned Gilda.

Later in Solar Flare's throne room. Said princess was hoping everything would work out for Spike and the two queens.

That's when Spike, Bleeding Heart and Umbra entered 1st.

'Hopefully we can break it to her calmly.' Spike hoped.

"Ah, hello you three. You're back earl-" She stopped as soon as she saw the mane 6. "What are you six doing back here?" she growled standing up.

"Whoa! Wait mom! Don't worry, there's a perfectly logical explanation!" spoke up Spike holding his claws up.

"Oh?"

"These 6 come from another world."

"The same one you came from I presume?"

"Ye-wait, what?" replied the dragon with wide eyes as the girls were curious and surprised as well.

"You knew about this?" Said Sunset Shimmer.

"And once again...our trust has been broken."

"Please listen. Yes, it's true that I know who this Spike really is."

"Then you know I'm not really your son."

"And you just married us to a guy who isn't the guy were supposed to marry."

"Technically speaking, he is and isn't my son."

"Yeah, he said the Spike of this world is in his head."

"That is true. My son, the Spike of this world was apparently fused into this Spike."

"Now I have his awesome powers."

"So, how do we separate them?" asked Sunset.

"That...I do not know." she shook her head. "But when I was pulled into his mind, I met our Spike, who said eventually the two of them would have to fight for dominance over the body."

Both sets of 6 went silent for a moment.

"And, when exactly does that happened?" asked Applejack with worry.

"Sooner than we think."

"Wait wait wait, you mean Spikey-Wikey has to fight...himself and possibly lose his body?" asked Rarity in horror.

"Yes...I am sorry for this news." Solar closed her eyes.

"B-But, what happens to the loser?" asked Cherry looking close to tears.

"I have no answer to that, but I fear the worst."

Spike gulped before Gilda grabbed him with a snarl. "Why did you come here? And what's the big idea of taking our friend?"

"I DON'T KNOW! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" Then Spike began to cry.

"Gilda that's enough!" spoke Sunset putting a hoof on her shoulder. "Put him down."

Gilda put him down and walked away.

"Where are you going?" asked Fleur.

"Spike and the princess kept a secret from us, the citizens are harsher than we thought and we might lose our Spike! This day SUCKS!" Then she slammed the door and flew away from the castle, not noticing that her color turned into a shade of grey.

Meanwhile...

"Oooh, I feel power, but sadly it is not enough." Said Discord. Said chaos spirit was sitting in a tree while looking at the town. "Hmm...Oh girls? Could you keep an eye on things? I'm going to observe what is causing such pain." he spoke to the six mares beneath the tree.

Discord became a brown unicorn stallion with yellow eyes and a ball cutie mark, because anything related to chaos would be too obvious. He got down from the tree and headed towards town.

Now back to the castle as things got worse.

"Spike, even if you aren't our Spike...why couldn't you have told me? I mean after you found yourself in my home you should've concluded that I'm the best friend of the Spike of this world."

"I-I'm sorry! It's just I kept seeing weird memories that felt like mine, but at the same time they weren't, and I....was worried what you would say."

Sunset couldn't hold back her tears. She turned and ran out of the room. "Why couldn't you have trusted me?!" She screamed before turning a shade of grey.

"What's this even more misery? I'm not even there yet and someone's breaking hearts? Music to my ears." chuckled Discord walking through town.

""You weren't honest to us Spike and Solar Flare, and I don't approve of the honesty the citizens gave us either." Said Cherry Jubilee.

"Cherry Jubilee, I understand, but we had good reasons."

"Are those lies? I don't know anymore!" Then Cherry Jubilee ran out as her colors turned gray.

'Mm, another bit of misery.'

"Trixie, Lightning Dust, where are you 2 going?"

"The great and powerful Trixie is too angry right now to say anything nice." she sniffled.

"I can't take any of this." Said Lightning Dust. She turned and flew off.

Then last to leave was Fleur, who probably took the distrust worst of all. She sniffled and rubbed her eyes while Spike looked at the ground with tears in his eyes.

"Ooh, who's doing this? I gotta recruit him!" Discord said to himself.

"I know this might sound weird, but I kinda feel bad for em." spoke Applejack.

"Me too." Fluttershy agreed.

"Hate to say it, but same here." spoke Rainbow rubbing the back of her head.

"We gotta find them and make things right." Said Twilight.

"Be careful. Right now this is extremely important, and it would be best to let them calm down a little before talking to them." spoke Solar Flare.

"We understand, but any friend of Spike's is a friend of ours." Rarity replied.

"And I hate seeing my friends cry." Pinkie added.

"Maybe I should stay here." spoke the dragon walking over and leaning against the wall.

"Yes...stay here son and let your friends have some 1-on-1 time with your friends." Solar Flare told him while picking him up.

The mane six walked out of the throne room while Spike sniffled in Solar's hooves.

'I knew he was trouble, I'm gonna help our Spike beat this Spike.' thought Umbra.

'You'll do no such thing.' spoek up Bleeding Heart.

'And why not? For all we know he planned on coming here and impersonating the Spike of this world for an invasion!'

'Umbra, you're jumping to conclusions again! Just like when you thought.'

'Don't bring that up, I was...'

'You were not on your period, you were legit mad at that one preschool age colt for looking at me in a wrong way!'

'.....it was just a glare, I didn't touch him.'

'Well it doesn't change the fact you need to work on your anger.'

'And how do you suppose I do that?!'

'Kiss our husband!'

"HE'S NOT OUT HUSBAND!" she roared out with a growl.

'Umbra, he's hurting just like the others! He didn't mean for all of this to happen! Where did your sense of honor go? Did it go away after figuring out the rules against same sex marriage or when you learned about how our subjects have dirty dreams of me? I want to know where all of this anger came from.'

Umbra turned and walked away while Bleeding Heart sighed and turned to Solar.

"Sorry, I'll go try to calm her down.

"Everyone's leaving because of me..."

"Shhhh...it's okay Spike, they'll all figure something out." whispered Solar gently rocking him.

That's when Nightmare Moon appeared. "Spike? What's wrong?" she asked walking over with concern.

"I've ruined my friendship with the girls." he sniffled while curling up in Solar's hooves more.

Nightmare Moon then joined in on hugging Spike. "It will be alright dear nephew."

"I hope you're right."

Meanwhile...

"Finally, I made it."Said Discord. He looked around the town and followed the closer scent of misery. 'Now where can I find a greying sad creature?' He thought.

He walked down the path and spotted Cherry's cherry farm. "Ooh, I wonder how sweet her pain is." That's when Applejack arrived. "Is that my minion? Why is she so clean and bright?"

Applejack ran up to the door and knocked on it. "Cherry? Ya'll there?"

"Go away Applejack!" Then we see 2 piles in her house. A pile of cherries and a pile of pits and stems.

"Not until you come out here and we talk."

'What is she doing?!' thought Discord with wide eyes before frowning as he stamped over to the mare. "Applejack! What is the meaning of this? An element barer has been discorded and you're trying to save her?"

Applejack turned to the stallion. "Uh, howdy. Do I know you?"

"What?" Then Discord looked at himself. "Oh right." Then he transformed back. "Now, what is this mutiny?"

"Discord!" she jumped back with a frown. "What are you doin here?"

"I came here because I sensed sadness and I intend to absorb it, didn't I explain that to you?"

"Don't you mean, this world's version of me?"

Discord blinked and frowned. "I'm not in the mood for playing this game Applejack. Now stand aside so I can do my job."

Then Applejack pulled out her rope. "Nnope." She twirled it around before tossing it towards the spirit.

Discord turned her rope into a snake. "Fine, you wanna fight? Let's fight!" Then Discord levitated a cherry tree and launched it at Aj, she dodged but it hit Cherry Jubilee's house!

"AH! My house!" cried out Cherry. She then ran out side to see Applejack and Discord fighting. 'Oh great, even more stress!'

"Die you usurper!"

"Cherry! I know you're in pain about Spike's lie and the citizen's honesty, but there's no reason to give-up."

"But Applejack, how could you feel how I felt?"

"You might be surprised if you could lend a hoof!"

Cherry watched as she saw the battle go-on, yet she was paralyzed to move.

"Cherry!" She shouted.

'Oh....I can worry about being betrayed AFTER I help her.' she thought before running out.

Discord then saw her and stopped her! "Now, let's see what your despair tastes like."

Applejack saw the snake that Discord turned her rope into and threw it as Discord's gaping maw!

He stumbled back as the snake wrapped around his mouth and tried prying it off.

"Now's our chance!"

"Ain't that the truth!"

Then Applejack and Cherry began kicking Discord who was still having trouble getting the snake off! The more Discord was jerked around by the kicks, the more irritated the snake was before it bit Discord!

'AH!" screamed Discord in his mind while trying to pull the snake off through force.

"Together!" Shouted Cherry Jubilee!

Both turned around before slamming their rear legs into the spirit's stomach. Discord was sent flying! All the while groaning as the snake kept biting him.

"That was some mighty fine hussle I saw there Cherry."

"Thanks." she smiled.

Then Applejack held out her hoof. "Come-on, we'll go exchange apologies with Spike and Solar Flare."

"No." she turned away. "It's not that simple."

"But why?"

"Because, the dragon who I thought was my friend was really lying to me and is from another world!" she started crying. "He lied to all of us!"

"He was just scared that you'd turn on him is all. I mean...a bunch of the good guys in this world are bad guys in our world."

"Well....I get how some would be nervous around the hydras and even the Diamond Dogs, but what's there to be scared about griffons, or dragons?"

"Sharp claws, sharp teeth, intimidating roars....ornery as Wolverines."

"But look at Spike. He helped everyone show they could be harmless as ponies, then he....he......Aaaaahhhhhh!" she resumed crying into her hooves.

"Spike was raised right, that's what separates him from the normally angry and violent dragons. He just wanted friends in this dimension so he kept secrets, he's even crying as well after seeing ya'll leave." Applejack assured Cherry in a motherly tone. She rubbed the mares back and sat beside her. "It hurts, but look at it from his point of view. If you ended up in another world, and everypony there thought you were the one they're so use to, what would you do?"

Cherry then turned to AJ silent.

"See?"

"You're right AJ...no wonder you're the element of Honesty in another world."

"And you need to be honest to yourself. Can you see yourself hating this Spike? He never meant to come here, and I doubt he wanted your Spike in his noggin."

"*sniff* I....I need to make things right...he didn't ask for this, it just happened to the poor guy."

"See? Now why don't we both go back and you can talk to him."

Cherry then smiled and went back with AJ, her color returning to normal.

With Gilda, she was growling as she kicked anything in her way in frustration. She grunted angrily as tears came out.

"Rainbow...w-w-why do I have to do this?"

"Because Lightning Dust is more my rival so default...you need to take care of Gilda."

Fluttershy gulped. She looked at the angry griffon and shyly moved closer. "Uh..."

Gilda smashed a boulder with one punch! "That no good little brat!"

'I'm gonna need some help for this.' Then Fluttershy walked away and then returned with a bunch of wild animals. "Um, Gilda?"

"The *Bleep* You want you *Bleep* *Bleep* *bleep* *bleep* *bleep* *bleep*?!"

'D-don't cry Fluttershy, you need to do this." she gulped and held up a kitten.

Gilda uncurled her fists. "Oh my goodness...that is the cutest kitty I've ever seen!" she spoke before covering her mouth and frowned. "W-Why are you even here?"

"I want to help quell your rage." She replied. 'THANK SOLAR FLARE SHE'S THE ELEMENT OF KINDNESS!' She shouted in her head.

Gilda frowned and gently picked up the kitten and started petting it without losing her frown. "You got one minute, go."

"I'm sure that under all of those muscles, claws, feathers and teeth is a gentle giant." she tried to smile. "Spike was just scared, he never in his life expected that he'd be in another world, don't be mad at him just because he has your Spike somewhere in his brain."

"And why not? Our Spike's locked up and is gonna be in there for who knows how long!"

"I don't like the idea that we might lose our Spike either, but Gilda please...Spike is crying and he only wants to make things right." spoke Fluttershy gulping. "M-Maybe talking about what you're feeling can help get all that anger and sadness out."

"I don't see how it'll help to just talk this out...but sure..." she relented sitting down. That's when birds, bugs and mammals arrived. "*Inhale.* 1st if all, he could've told us his situation when he finally got to know us a little."

"Well, given how we're still trying to cope with this world, he was just worried what you all would do."

"..." Gilda then looked at her claws. "Uh...I guess he'd be peeing himself as soon as I bared my claws and beak."

"S-So, do you see why he had to....fib a little?"

"Yeah...besides no matter what Spike, no matter what he did, he's still the cutest wootest dragon ever."

Fluttershy blinked while Gilda realized what she said and covered her beak. "Uh....Gilda? Do you......like Spike?"

She then blushed, looked down and made circles in the ground. "N-N-No."

"Then why're you stuttering?"

"I'm not!" snapped Gilda while rubbing the cat's belly.

"Then why are you getting even more annoyed? Is it because you can't express how you feel about him?"

Gilda frowned and tried to calm down while scratching behind the kitten's ear. Then Fluttershy and the animals surrounded her. Gilda put the cat down and sighed. "Alright, fine. I might....have a crush on him."

"See? So what about Spike makes you so happy?"

"Well....he was the first one to not make fun of me just cause I have a soft spot." she frowned. "Other kids would tease me saying it didn't fit with my tough girl attitude."

"Well those kids shouldn't matter, you're a kind natured griffon and no-one can tell you otherwise."

"You're right Fluttershy."

"And you should be happy being yourself. I'm sure people around here are just fine with you being who you are."

"You really think so?"

"You think you were given the element of kindness just because?"

"Well, no. But I never really thought I could be that nice. Mostly I just tried to be tough so I wouldn't feel sad." she admitted looking away.

Then Fluttershy pulled Gilda's head towards her, a big smile on her face.

"Why are you smiling?"

"Gilda?"

"Yeah?"

"You're a very nice griffin."

Gilda blushed before Fluttershy pulled her into a hug. Gilda hugged back as her color returned to normal. "Thanks Fluttershy."

"That's what friends are for." Then Gilda and Fluttershy walk back to the castle.

We cut back to Trixie who was sitting in her carriage and was sniffling while using her cape as a tissue. "How could this have happened?" she sniffled while crying harder into her cape.

*knock.*

"I'm not doing a show tonight, nor am I taking questions."

*Knock* *Knock*

"I told you, go away!"

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Beat it or I'm calling the cops!"

*A series of knocks that sound like the Spongebob theme song.*

"Okay you infuriating squished turd slathered on a wall, what do you wa...." Then Trixie was blasted with the party cannon!

"Hey Trixie!"

Trixie had a big angry frown on her face. "What was that for?"

"To make you laugh you saddy waddy down in the dumpsy."

"Right now I don't want to laugh." she frowned turning her back to Pinkie. "Now get out of my home."

"I didn't want to have to do this to you but..."

"Wh-where'd you get that mallet?!"

*Konk!*

A minute later, Trixie awakens to see a party with her, Pinkie and a bunch of others. "Wha...What was that for?!"

"So I can bring you to your own party."

"1.My own party? What's the occasion? The day I get betrayed and kidnapped? 2.How did you speak without opening your mouth?"

"Oh-no, that was me." Said Human Pinkie.

"I wanted to do it." Said Bubble Berry.

"But you couldn't since you're you know...a guy." Said Anthro Pinkie.

Trixie then shook her head and saw that the other Pinkies were gone.....and hiding under the punch bowl containing their laughter.

"What the.....who..."

"Come-on, let's party!" Then she looked at the DJ. "Turn it up so me and my girl can get down!"

The stallion nodded and started the music while Pinkie pulled Trixie to her hooves.

"Pinkie, what are you..." Then Trixie was swirled and twirled around a lot!

"Come on Trixie! Live a little."

Trixie then loosened up and had trouble trying to move.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't feel like dancing." she turned away with a frown.

"What's wrong? Alls you gotta do is make some smooth moves, like that guy." she pointed to a stallion gaining a crowd away from them.

"I said I don't feel like it." Trixie frowned walking over to the counter and took a seat.

"Hmm..." Then she saw the punch bowl. "I'll punch her, that ought to perk her up." she picked it up and walked over towards the unicorn. "Hey Trixie."

"Huh?"

"Punch?" offered Pinkie holding the bowl out to her.

"What are you..."

*splash!*

"AH! PINKIE!" growled the unicorn.

"Hee hee hee." Then others took notice and began laughing too.

Trixie's face went red as steam blew out of her ears. "PINKIIIIIIIIE!" Then she charged at Pinkie.

"Yipe!" Pinkie turn and ran away. They chased around before someone brought a cake out. This of course lead to Pinkie not seeing in time and ended up crashing into it.

Trixie stopped to see cake all over Pinkie. She found her anger leave her and felt her lip twitch upward.

Pinkie then witnessed her snicker, chuckle, and then finally...laugh.

"Ahahahaha! You look ridiculous!" she laughed out loud.

'Yes! Now to convince her to go home.' smiled Pinkie licking up some of the frosting. "So Trixie, are you still mad at Spike now that you've calmed down?"

Trixie took a moment to catch her breath before losing her smile. "I'm still a little miffed."

"Trixie, he's sorry, he's crying too and I'll do whatever it takes to make a friend smile and since he's your friend, then you're my friend too." she spoke in a firm tone.

"But he..."

"I get it, he lied and that really hurts, but put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself if you would have done the same."

"...You're right." she sighed looking down.

"Now do you see why?"

"Yes, but it still hurt, that's something you can't deny wouldn't happen."

"Trixie...he's just a kid, you can't blame so much on him."

"I get that, but it just hurts. If he apologizes to my face, then I can feel like everything's square."

"Then we can go now...you know?"

"Yes, but try not to eat yourself." joked Trixie.

"Hahaha, you're pretty funny Trixie." Then Trixie's color came back.

"Thanks Pinkie."

Then they went back to the castle.
