//-------------------------------------------------------// Defective Pony -by kittygirlnya- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Cookies! //-------------------------------------------------------// Cookies! Walking, the two reached Blast's home. It was a simple house, it was one-story and had a white washed outside wall. It was nearly identical to the other homes on the street, apart from the number posted on the door, as well as above the door. The door also was similar to the outside walls, but there was a bronze knocker on it that looked like a small hoof. Underneath the number was a mounted mailbox, it was filled with letters. Ivy looked up, her blue eyes widened. "It... Sooooo biiiiig! You wive in a biiiig howse mistwer Bwast." "It's not that big honey, just big enough for two ponies," he said chuckling. "But... It biggwer den da howse mommy and daddy wives in..." "I see," he replied softly as he gave her a small nuzzle. "Can we make cookies?" Nudging the filly forwards gently, he smiled. "Well of course we can, let's go." She nodded and tried to climb up the stairs, but wasn't able to. Thankfully BLast Shield helped her up them, one at a time. She looked at the door in awe, it was much bigger than her and what she had before. Ivy poked it with her hoof. The feeling of the wood was sturdy, it felt funny. Giggling she pushed on it, and when she did the door opened. "Did I do dat?!" Blast grinned and laughed, "Yes you opened the door. Come on, the kitchen is this way." Leading the filly the two walked into the kitchen. In the kitchen there was an island, it had pots and pans hanging above of it. Around the island were little stools and cupboards under it. To the right of the kitchen was the sink, it had an easy to reach fossett and there were some simple cupboards underneath that as well. To the left and right were two sets of upper cupboards, filled with Ivy only could guess were plates and cups. The theme of the kitchen was black and white, which was interesting as it seemed to fit the earth pony. "It... it biiig!" Ivy said jumping up and down. Getting the flour, the salt, milk, sugar, and other ingredients, Blast laughed. Pulling them down and getting ready to make the cookies with little Ivy. "Well I do suppose it's a rather large kitchen. It does have an island after all. So, care to tell me about your wings little one?" "Well... I dun know... I has wings.... and hown.... Why?" Ivy said looking down. "Mommy and daddy said... I was... fective...." Blast frowned, shaking his head. Going over to the filly, he crouched down and nuzzled her. "You're not defective. You... You're special. Like a little Princess. My little Princess." "What... fective... mean?" "Defective means broken, but your not broken." "Mah wings... dey nu.... dey nu wowk..." Ivy said as she tried to flap her wings, only to flinch in pain after a few flaps. Blast shook his head as he carefully groomed her wings. "I'm sure they're just still developing. Don't worry." "But... dey huwt when I twy to use dem.... I dun know whys." Blast sadly smiled, he finished cleaning her small wings. "I'm not sure, I'd have to ask a Pegasus about it." "Pega... wha?" Blast chuckled and headed for the counter with the ingredients. He smiled and grabbed a big bowl to mix them all in. "Pegasus, it's the kind of pony that just has wings. Unicorn is the kind of pony with just a horn. Though some ponies could have both and be called a Pegicorn or an Alicorn." "What is.... pegi... pegi... and... uh... allycorn?" "Well a Pegicorn is a pony that has a horn and wings, but they aren't more powerful than unicorns or Pegasi. An Alicorn also has a horn and wings, but they are more powerful than most Unicorns and Pegasi," Blast explained as he mixed up flour and water. "What... what I?" "I'm not sure which you are little one. You're too young for us to tell for sure, but if I had to guess I would say your were a Pegicorn." "Oh... I... Okay...." She replied confused. She walked around the kitchen, unsure of what to do and what Blast Shield was explaining. She just knew she was different, and it bothered her. It bothered her mommy and daddy, because they dropped her off on the roads. Softly the filly started to cry, her eyes swelling up with tears. He stopped mixing and walked over to her. He picked her up and hugged her, giving her a kiss on her head. "Don't worry little one," he said smiling. "I... Mommy... daddy.... dey... dey dwopped me....dey said.... I... I was useless... dat... I... nu do... good... I... I twied... so hawd...." "You'll always have a home with me. You'll always be my little Princess." "Weawwy?" "Really, really," he said putting Ivy down. "So, ready to help make some cookies?" "I dun know how." "I'll teach you," he said smiling. "Come on this way." "Okay..." Ivy followed behind the earth pony, unsure of what was going to happen next. "Why don't you be my hooves? I bet you can do a better job than this old stallion can," Blast Shield said smiling. "I dun know..." she replied as Blast picked her up onto the island counter. "I believe in you," he said as he nudged the sugar to her, it was already measured out. "How... how do I pick... pick it up?" Ivy asked. "Just hold it between your hooves honey." "O-okay..." Ivy said, but just as she picked it up, it fell all over her, staining her green coat white. "I... I... I messed up! I sowwy!!" "It's okay little one," Blast poured new sugar. "Try again." "But... I... I made mess...." Blast chuckled as he got some more sugar and put it in the cup once again. "It's okay, let's try again.' Ivy nodded, taking the cup in her hooves as she lifted it up, only to spill most of the sugar onto the counter, onto her, and maybe a few little teaspoons into the bowl. "Sowwy!!!" "Don't worry, it's alright. You're getting better though," he said cleaning once again and putting the right amount of sugar needed. Ivy tried once more, holding the sugar in hooves and dropping it into the bowl. "YAY I DID IT!" "Very good," he said as he nuzzled her, smiling widely. "I did it! I did it!" "Yes you did. Next the eggs... This will be tricky, we have to be careful of getting the shell in the mixture." "Uh-oh..." "I have a little tool to fetch the shell if it does get in, you'll just need to give me room. I have to hold things in my muzzle cause of my leg." "O-okay... " Ivy backed away slowly and carefully. He chuckled and grabbed her by her neck scruff. "Nof now silly." "Huh?" The green filly looked up at him confused. He put her down and nudged her towards the eggs he had pulled out. "We have to break the eggs first silly." "Ohhh," Ivy said looking down. "I dun know how..." "Just pick it up and tap it on the side of the bowl. Hopefully it will break," Blast said smiling. "But how....?" "Uh..." Blast paused, thinking for a moment. "Sowwy." "It's okay, it's just been a while for me..." "I... I dun know what... what to dooooo." "Best I can remember, I could stand on just my hind legs and use both my forehooves to hold the egg... do you think you can stand on two legs?" "I dun know...." Blast shifted himself carefully so he was standing right behind her. "Wanna try? You can hold onto me for balance." "I-I gwess," the shy filly said looking at the eggs. "I know you can do it. It might just take a few tries," Blast said smiling. "O-okay..." The stallion pushed himself onto his hind-legs and before falling he held onto Ivy with his good hoof. With that the filly tried to lift the fragile egg, but it only turned on her. It splattered all over her white belly, leaving her a mess of sugar and egg. She squirmed, the feeling of egg on her coat wasn't the sweetest, instead it was the stickiest! "EWWWWIES!" Blast chuckled, seeing the filly try was just so cute for him. "It's alright, try again," he said nudging another egg towards her. "I fweel gwoss," said Ivy in a disgusted tone. Right then the white stallion picked up the filly by the scruff of her neck and headed out of the kitchen. He walked into a hallway, it seemed to go on forever, at least to Ivy. She watched as the two walked further and stopped to turn right. The two walked into a bathroom. The bathroom was almost pristine clean. It had a small walk-in tub with a sink right to the left of it. Above the sink was a mirror, it was a round one, the boarder was a nice black. The walls of the room were white, the floor black-and-white checkerboard patterning. There also was a rug right in the center. Looking to the right Ivy saw a box, it was a laundry basket, filled with different clothing articles. She giggled, and saw a rack covered in towels. "Now, let's wash you up then," Blast said putting her into the tub. "Wee," the filly said as she went towards the running water and splashing at it. "EEEEE!" Blast chuckled as he grabbed the soap. He carefully lathered the filly in soap, cleaning her up. Ivy giggled, squirming slightly when he tried to clean her belly. "Dat tickles." Looking up at Blast, her blue eyes got big and she looked as happy as could be. "Yay!" He smiled and nuzzled her. "Such a sweet little one." Ivy giggled more as she stuck her tongue out at Blast. He in return licked her cheek once he finished cleaning her fur from the egg and sugar. "Heehee," she squealed as Blast picked her up from the tub and put a clean towel around her. "Yay! I fweel cweeeeaaaannnn!" "Yes you're all clean now. Maybe I should call my friend and see if he'll help us bake," the stallion said as he took the towel off of Ivy. "Fwiend?" Blast nodded as he picked her up and hugged her, again. "Yes, he's pretty good with his hooves. Always put me to shame in the training exercises." "I wan to meet himmmm." Blast nodded putting her down and headed towards the kitchen, a filly following him close behind. She smiled the entire way, her hooves leaving small wet spots behind her. "Alright, I'll give him a call." Ivy ran around Blast as the stallion picked up the phone from the counter on the right. He waited for the phone to pick up as he spoke. Ivy didn't pay attention to what he said, instead she was focused on how many circles she could make around Blast before he finished on the phone. About a half an hour passed, Ivy was curled up on the couch in the living room, right next to her new friend. She looked up at him hearing the sound of knocking. "Fwiend?" "That must be Flame Storm," Blast said getting off of the couch, Ivy following in close pursuit. Blast opened the door to a dark red Pegasus. His mane spiked, his tail spiked, both of which brown. He had golden eyes and his hooves were a dark brown. He held himself high, but not nearly as high as Blast, and once the two stallions met Flame smiled. "Hey Flame, how have you been?" Blast asked noticing a green filly behind him. "Eh, not bad, so what did you need me for?" "Cookies!!" Ivy squeaked in. "I hear... a foal...?" Ivy peaked her head from behind Blast's hind-legs, a small pink blush on her cheeks. "Now, who is THIS cutie?!" Flame said. "This is Ivy, I adopted her. We're attempting to make cookies, the eggs have proved too much for our forces," Blast said shaking his head. "I got awl gwoooooooossss!" Flame grinned and chuckled as he followed behind the two ponies. "Well you were pretty bad with your hooves." "That I was... Only got worst after... well now anyway I think I promised a little filly delicious cookies, gunna help?" "Pweeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaase!?" "Sure." "Then let's make cookies." The counter was covered in a mess of sugar, flour, and eggs. It was such a glorious mess that the filly and stallion grinned. Ivy didn't have a smear on her, but Blast on the other hoof was covered in it. "We are the best chiefs," Blast said grinning from ear to ear. "Yus!" "What in the name of Celestia happened?" Flame asked blinking in surprise. "The sugar could not be tamed, we had a vicious battle but eventually came out victorious." "I got it in." "After this, I want to talk to you, okay?" Flame whispered in Blast's ear. //-------------------------------------------------------// Now... About Ivy? //-------------------------------------------------------// Now... About Ivy? "Cookies!" The sweet filly said jumping up and down. Flame smiled and nodded, as he picked up an egg and carefully cracked it into the bowl. Doing this two more times. He got a look of awe from Ivy and Blast, both of which seemed too flabbergasted to know how the Pegasus did it. "How do you do that? I swear you are secretly a Unicorn and you're messing with us all," Blast said sighing. "I can just... Do it," Flame said shrugging. "What next?" Blast said shaking his head. "I can fly too," Flame Storm said grinning and laughing. The filly was on the floor, looking up at both the stallions. She rubbed her head against the white stallion, looking at him cutely. "I meant in the recipe goof ball. Ivy what kind of cookies do you like, around here's where the recipe changes depending," he said chuckling. "I wike... a wot of cookies.... when... when I got dem...." "Hm," the red Pegasus muttered. "So any cookies are good cookies?" Blast Shield asked. "Yus!" The green filly said nodding her head rapidly. Flame watched the two ponies, the way Blast made Ivy smile was adorable. It was just like before. "How about we make some simple sugar cookies then?" Blast asked. "I'm pretty sure you used up all the sugar." "Nu-uuuuuhhhh," replied Ivy. "Hmmm.... probably... Chocolate chip then. I'll have to go shopping tomorrow. Not equip for a filly..." Blast said looking around. "Where is it?" Flame asked. Before the white stallion could reply Ivy yawned, big and loud. Her little face all scrunched up with the yawn. Soon she was flopped onto the floor, rubbing her eyes with her yellow hooves. Ivy looked up at Blast and pulled on his leg. "In the cabinet. Aw you tired little one?" "A wittle...." She said nodding. "I'll get them, you can put her to bed." Blast nodded as he picked up the small filly in his good hoof and put her onto his back. He walked down the hallway from the kitchen. Leading the filly out, he walked past the living room and into the next room to the left of the living room. In it was a large bed, big enough for an adult. Blast placed Ivy down and put the covers over her. He smiled, kissed her on the head and turned the lights out. "Do... Do yoo got.... Got a toy?" Ivy asked. "Of course, I'll go get you one," he said smiling as he walked out. Soon Blast Shield returned, he was holding an earth pony plush. It was a soft yellow with a brown mane and tail. It had pretty blue eyes and was just big enough for a small filly such as Ivy. He gave her the pony and smiled. "Sleep well my little Princess." Blast returned to the kitchen to see Flame done mixing up the batter. The red Pegasus looked at Blast sternly and curiously. "Now I need to know. Where did you find that filly?" "Wandering the streets..." "What?!" Blast nodded at his friend sighing softly. "You gotta be kidding me! How long has she been here with you? And how long was she on the streets?! Heck, how old is she?!" Flame Storm exclaimed. "She's only been with me a few hours... I haven't had the chance to contact the guard..." "I wonder if there have been any missing foals.... I can call them, how's that sound?" Flame suggested. "Go ahead." Flame went over to the phone and picked it up. He dialed the number of the guard and waited for somepony to pick up. He tapped his left hoof, waiting for the captain to pick up. "Finally. I need to ask you something sir," Flame said. "Yes of course. But please listen." "There's a filly with Blast... Yes I know. He hasn't... Sir please listen. He hasn't had the time. He's only had her for a couple of hours. We need to know if there... Sir! Listen to me! We need to know if there are any missing foal reports!" Flame paused waiting for the captain to reply. "Thank you sir." "There are no reports. Maybe it's because she's been missing for a day?" Flame suggested. "Well... that would explain it... I assumed at first she got separated from her mother on accident... But she got so upset when I brought her parents up...." "I see... That seems unfortunate. I wonder why she got so upset. Do you have any ideas?" Flame asked. "Well I have two ideas... One is her parents died, extreme case but not impossible.... Or... sadly more likely.... They abandoned her...." Blast suggested. "That can't be right though. Why would they abandon their own filly? That doesn't seem right!" "Because she has both wings and horn? Maybe her blood father assumed his wife had been cheating..." "WHAT?! Why would... No that can't be right. Ponies don't go and cheat with the Princesses. It's not possible!" "I know that. And you know that. But some silly towns ponies might not have the common sense to realize that," Blast said shaking his head. Flame sighs unsure of how to deal with this. "It could just be a genetic defect, somehow she got horn and wings from a Unicorn and Pegasus parental unit.... Which would make her a Pegicorn not an Alicorn," Blast suggested. "Maybe..." "We should probably finish the cookies, or at least the batter since that can be put in the fridge..." Blast said as he helped to put the batter away as Flame cleaned up. "This doesn't settle well with me." "I understand, but we got to wait. I'll take her to the guard to see what we can do. Would you like to stay longer?" "Well I dunno if I can. I got to go now though. Sorry Blast, see you again soon," Flame Storm said as he walked out. //-------------------------------------------------------// Shopping //-------------------------------------------------------// Shopping The next morning, the green filly rolled onto her side. She had kicked the blankets off of her; they rolled down off of her tiny body. Giggling Ivy looked down and saw the side of the bed, and on the floor was a cute pony plush. She gasped and jumped down for it. "Yoo okay?! Yoo okay?!" She called out as she picked up the plush. "Yoo okay... You awe okay." The filly left the room, with the plush on her back as she wandered around. She was confused, unsure of where she was. Ivy remembered that somepony nice had picked her up and brought her home with them... But not much more. She was exhausted..... And hungry. Soon the filly found another room, a lump on the bed. She grabbed the covers in her mouth and pulled. Slowly Ivy managed to pull the covers off of the bed. "I huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnngggggwwwwwwyyyyyy!" A white nose poked out from the bed. "Nnng?" Ivy decided to boop his nose, only to giggle afterwards. "Huh?" Blast muttered, his nose scrunching up at the boop. "I hungwy." "Nnn... Okay..." He said as he shifted out to peer at Ivy. "YAY!" Ivy said bouncing, the little plush falling off. "Nu! Nu fawing off!" The stallion detangled himself from the rest of the covers, and got out of bed. His mane was a mess, it was all over the place, sticking up from the rough night. His covers were black and white, in the shape of yin-yang. It was a nice look and Ivy bounced off to the kitchen, ahead of Blast. "Heehee!" Ivy giggled once she stepped hoof into the kitchen. Blast pulled down a bowl and put it on the island and filled it with cereal and milk. "Guess we better go shopping today." "Weawwy? Ceweeeeaaaaalll." "Yes, cereal. Cookies are not for breakfast." "Yay!!" Ivy giggled as she sat on a stool at the island to eat her cereal. But before the filly took a bite she looked up at Blast Shield. "Fank yoo." "It's no trouble little one," he replied as he got himself a bowl of cereal and sat next to her. The two sat next to each other quite content. Even though Ivy was making a mess, spilling the milk and cereal all over the counter top, Blast seemed to be happy. His eyes were bright and his smile large, watching the little filly eat. "You need another bath now silly little one," Blast said as he finished up his cereal after she did. "I wiked dat ceweal!" With that Blast picked up the filly off of the counter top of the island and walked towards the bathroom again. Putting her in the tub and letting the water fill up to her. "Lesh get you cleaned up." "Weeeeeee," the filly squeaked. "Heehee," Ivy splashed in the water, getting Blast's face wet. Chuckling Blast shook the water off and grabbed the soap. He lathered her up in the soap, getting her covered in bubbles. The green filly squeaked in joy. She looked up at the stallion, happier than the previous day. Ivy squealed as she felt Blast tickle her tummy, like before, but this time on purpose. "Yoo did dat!" "Yes I did," he chuckled. "There, now you are all clean again." "YAY!" Blast nuzzled the wet filly's cheek, smiling at her. "Yay fank yoo!" Ivy said as she wiggled her rear end in the water. "It's no trouble sweetie.. " He said as he lifted her out of the tub and dried her off with another towel. "Let's clean up the dishes and go shopping." "Okaaaaayyyy!!" With Ivy all cleaned up, the stallion picked her up by the scruff of her neck and walked towards the kitchen. Ivy swinging in his grasp she sang, in a horribly off-tune sound. She looked up at Blast, hoping to get an approval of her singing. Blast chuckled as he set her down. He put on some of his saddle bags and put a list in one of the pouches. "Very good singing little one." "Yay!" Blast smiled as he then picked up the dishes, putting them in the sink, and cleaning them quickly. Ivy was sitting on a stool watching him, curious to know what he was doing. She shrugged it off though, watching him closely. "Yoo da bestest." Blast smiled nodding to her. "I try." "We go now?" "Yes." "YAY!" Ivy said as she bounced up, without jumping up into the air. "We going owt!" "Yes we are. Hmm... We should probably hide your wings..." "Why?" "So we don't cause a stirr..." "Huh?" "Ponies haven't seen Pegicorns very often, and when they do they almost always think Alicorn which are Royalty." "What?" Ivy asked furrowing her eyebrows confused. "Ponies don't often see others with both wings and horns, the only time they do is when the Princess is around," Blast Shield explained as he sighed. "But.. why?" "Well... it's not often ponies are born with both, it's a beautiful rarity." "Hmph." "Think of it this way, you get to wear a cool cape," Blast said nuzzling her. "A caaaaape?" Ivy asked excitedly. "Yes, like a super hero." "YAY SUPA HEWO!!" Jumped the filly. "Come here, I'll give you a cape," Blast said as he pulled out a cloth from his saddle bags. Ivy looked up at Blast as he tied a blue cloth around Ivy's neck, making sure to hide her small wings. He smiled and nodded as he finished tying the cloth in a knot. "There, all ready?" "YAY I A SUPA HEWO!" "Yes you are," he said nuzzling her and opening the door. "YAY WET'S GOOOO!" Ivy rushed out the door, the cape fluttering behind her. The two went into Canterlot's wondrous shopping mall. It was filled with many shops, all of which were different in how they were run and who ran them. Ivy looked at them all, while she stood by Blast Shield. It was nice, because no matter what happened Ivy had somepony who was looking out for her. Unlike what she had experienced before. Flash Back Looking up, Ivy was walking towards a Unicorn mare, she was a powder blue, her mane purple and her eyes green. She gently poked the mare, only to be given a stern look. "Go play elsewhere!" Ivy looked down, walking away from the mare. Ivy went into the next room and saw a stallion Pegasus. She walked up to him and sat right in front of him before gently poking him. He was a strong green color, with a dark black mane and piercing blue eyes. He looked down at her giving her a glare of daggers, forcing the filly to dash away as fast as possible. The filly went to her room, it was a blank room. Filled with just a small cot and nothing more. It had no color to the walls, just blank white. It made Ivy feel alone and empty. She looked and cried, her parents wouldn't pay attention to her or when they did it was always met with a glare. Ivy followed behind the white stallion, in awe of what was around. She smiled and squeaked, running around. She bolted back and forth, keeping close to Blast Shield, but the little filly enjoyed the freedom. Even though Blast Shield was trying to get the items needed, he had to keep a close eye on the filly. It wasn't easy, then again Ivy didn't make it easy with her need to go rushing about everywhere. It was difficult to make sure that the little filly's wings were kept hidden, because Blast knew that some of the ponies would question it. "Come on Ivy, we need to get the fruits," Blast said smiling. "WOOSH! Okaaaaaaay!!!" Ivy said as she followed behind, the cape flittering up, her wing tips showing. "Careful, my tying skills are not the best, whoosh too much and it might fly off!" "Oh nooo! Not mah cape!" The filly kept that in mind as she wooshed less and followed the white stallion. "What fruits do you like little one?" "Stwabewwies!" "Okay we'll get some strawberries, and bananas." "I wike kiwi too," Ivy said giggling. "I don't know if they have kiwi little one..." "Awww...." Ivy said pouting. "Maybe we can find something kiwi scented. Like bath soap. Then you can be a little kiwi princess." "YAY!" "Good," Flame Storm muttered as he walked by and saw the two ponies. "Hey Blast, I found out something." "Hm? Oh hello Flame. What did you find out?" "HIIII DERE!" The foal waved her right hoof towards Flame. "Well, I asked around and a lot of ponies have seen her walking around. They thought she was just walking, they didn't realize she wasn't. So, when I asked, they said that they knew her parents. I went to talk to them, I got in, but once I said her name, they were like, "Who? We only have a colt named Blue Wing." So I'm guessing that either they have amnesia, or.... They abandoned her and they didn't give her to an orphanage. I say that 'cause I did ask the orphanages around.... None had her down or seen her before...." Ivy listened closely, her ears perked, but suddenly they flattened. She turned and ran off, bolting as fast as her tiny legs could take her. She started to cry, small tear drops flying behind her. Ivy couldn't understand why her parents didn't love her, but she knew that they hated her now and that she wasn't welcomed there anymore. She ran so fast that her cape came off and some ponies saw but took little notice. Soon the filly found a little hiding place, it was a sort of crack between two buildings, small enough for just a foal. "I see.... ! Ivy!" Blast noticed the filly run and he tried to catch up to her. "Dey hate me....." Ivy cried out. "Ivy? Baby girl? Where'd you go hunny..." "Mommy.... daddy.... dey.... dey hate me.... why.... why dey hate me?" "Ivy..." Blast heard the filly's crying, and soon he found her. Laying down the stallion listened close, trying to reach his hoof towards her. "Ivy hunny come here..." "Nu..." "Please...?" "Nu.... I... I hated..." "I don't hate you..." Blast said calmly. "Yus... yus yoo doo..." "No I don't.... You're the light in my life... I'm just an old solider who can't fight... You give me a reason to live." "Mommy.... and daddy... dey shaid.... I.... I... was da bestest... but... but... I.... dey weft me... dey... dey put me.... owtside...and... and..." Ivy said as she cried harder and harder, leaving her fur a matted mess. "I'll never do that to you. I'll soon die than leave you alone." The filly sobbed, she was making a small puddle of tears and left her fur a matted mess of tears. She shook her head and rubbed her eyes, her entire body shaking from sobbing, but she didn't leave her little hovel. "Do you wanna hear a story baby girl?" Ivy looked up at the white stallion, her blue eyes red and puffy from crying. Sniffling, she looked nodded, keeping herself quiet. //-------------------------------------------------------// Alone //-------------------------------------------------------// Alone Tiny hoof steps, clopping down the street at a slow steady pace. Ponies walked by, not giving a second glance. The tiny filly sat down on the side of the road, looking down. She had a dark olive green coat, her muzzle and hooves though were a soft yellow. She also had a purple mane and tail, with soft purple tips. Looking at this filly, it could be assumed she was still very young, not even ready for school. Her big blue eyes were puffy, all red and sore. Sniffling, the filly tried to get up, but she was too frightened to. So there she sat, waiting for somepony to notice her, waiting to be remembered. Waiting for something. Walking down the streets, an odd sound of clops was heard. He stepped with three clops instead of four, which was saddening. He was a white coated stallion, his mane long and black. He combed it so it was neatly smooth, soft to the touch. Even though he was missing a limb, he held his head and tail high with pride. On his left side was the missing limb, and where the limb should have been were four long pink scars. Stopping the earth pony heard sniffling. He looked around, nopony seemed to be crying but he could still hear it. He looked down to see the filly sniffling, holding her hooves to her face. "Are you alright little filly? Did you lose your mommy?" "Y-Yes..." She replied, between hiccups. "Want some help finding her?" He asked crouching down to the filly's level. "Nu... She... she weft me..." The filly said, crying harder. "Oh dear.... Why don't you come with me?" "But.... but... Do's yoo gots... cookies?" "No but I have the recipe to make cookies~" "Weawwy?" "Now, I better introduce myself. My name is Blast Shield, What's your name little one?" "Ivy..."
