Tales of a Traveling Pup
Braeburn's Letter to Applejack
Previous ChapterDear Cousin,
I apologize that it's been so long since I've written to you, but I fear that I have stumbled upon something that's too much for my hooves to carry. A couple of weeks ago, I discovered a lone stowaway in a train car. Seeing that he had no place to go and was nearly starved to death, I decided to take him in. I even landed him a job over here at the orchard.
Things were going fine and dandy at first, but something happened a couple of days ago. He acted out violently against a group of youngsters, although I suspect that they may have provoked it. Regardless, I've been getting angry looks from many ponies today. I fear that somepony may try and hurt him if they get the chance, and I ain't gonna let that happen.
If at all possible, I would like for you to give this letter to your friend, Twilight Sparkle. She is the only pony I can think of that would know what to do in this situation.
Sincerely,
Braeburn
P.S. I should probably mention that he isn't a pony, and knows very little of our language. He's a canine, and his kind aren't looked upon too highly down here.
