Before true harmony was established in the land of the Metaquines. It was under several powerful threats that had potential to wipe them out at any time. At the brink of a golden age, the biggest threat in known history arises. War. The Metaquines and the Changelings are locked in a severe war, devastating both side. For what the Metaquines lack in numbers, they make up their technology.
In the defence of a major city, Steelwing and his comrades are trapped in a death or glory mission. Will they succeed and survive to tell the tale, or fail and stay in the battlefront.
