Happy Hour - Soarin & Berry Punch
Author's Note
If you're wondering why it's written in such an odd format I was going for a dramatic monologue rather than a simple story. The weird phrasing isn't meant to follow a standard written style but rather the disjointed and disconnected thought process of the human/pony mind. Don't ever tell me that thinking gets confusing in a while. And yes while there may be a few of you out there who think and record everything in eloquent sentences, this is Soarin's monologue, which is less refined.
So yeah this is my first clopfic. I think I shot myself in the foot doing it monologue style. It's very difficult to do a sex scene from someone's thoughts. I mean I think I did okay. But it's nothing spectacular. But like I said first clopfic so all CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is appreciated. If you don't have any suggestions for where I can improve please don't just leave hate. I'll also take any feedback. If you don't like let me know why, if you do enjoy let me know what sort of pairing I should do next.
Here are two definite pairings for the future: 'Spitfire & Lightning Dust' and 'Spike & Rarity'. I'm trying to do pairings that haven't really been done before so the more unusual and the more upvoted an idea gets makes it more likely I'll do it.

Happy Hour - Soarin & Berry Punch
Can't tell if the pounding in my head is the music that's bouncin' off the walls, or the five... six pints I've already necked. Fuck it if I know. Or care to be honest. As long as the bar's open and the drinks are cheap I'll be sittin' here all night. And quite frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Oh yeah, 'Happy Hour' is a really popular time in this joint. Kinda misleadin' name at any rate 'cuz it's not really 'Happy Hour'. Nah it's more like 'Happy Night'. The booze is half price from the minute the doors open to... actually I don't really know how long Happy Hour goes on for here. Funny. Thinking about it now I've never realized every time I've been here for Happy Hour I've never been able to remember when the prices go up. The last thing I remember is maybe my third, fourth drink of the night and then next thing I know I'm in bed smellin' of sweat and alcohol. At least that's what I'm told I smell of. My nose doesn't exactly work when my brain is fighting the hangover of a lifetime.
I grip the edge of the bar with both hands and tilt my head back, belching loud and proud. Doesn't really matter if you say 'pardon' or anythin' like that in here. No one gives a crap if you've got manners or not. 'Sides it ain't like they'll hear you mumble somethin' like that under your breath to be polite. Between the thumpin' music and the jumpin' ponies, I wouldn't be surprised if somepony was unable to hear themselves think.
It's almost like the whole club is some big concert for the best band in Equestria. Certainly feels like there's enough ponies in. Everybody's a-hollerin' the lyrics to their favourite beats and jumpin' up and down like it's a moshpit. Probably is. Dunno the definition of a moshpit to really say what is and isn't.
I try and see if there's anypony from the team in the crowds. The Cap'n pulls us down here after every show for a good time. I can't tell if it's for her benefit or ours but the first drink is always on her. Ah. Speak of the devil. Dancin' with... I squint, then lean back and chuckle. Couldn't be the Cap. She was grindin' up against the new recruit and by the look on her face they were both enjoyin' it.
Still if it was the Cap I felt kinda jealous of our little loose cannon. Lightning Dust I remember, my drunk(ish) brain having finally twigged her name again. She didn't look specifically comfortable, but she certainly didn't look like she wanted it to stop.

I blink and they're lost again in the sea of shifting bodies. I chuckle again and spin around in my seat to the bar. I rest on one elbow and wave the barpony over, fishin' in my pockets for bits as she walked over.

Gotta make sure I don't get too stiff sittin' here after all. Experience has told me plenty of times before that when I get enough booze in me, crap tastin' or otherwise, I'm usually the wild beast on the dance floor. Might as well prepare for the inevitable while I still know what's up and what's down.
I find myself with another glass in front of me, filled with amber liquid. I look around and spot the barmaid rushing towards another patron. Odd. I shrug and pick up the glass, before giving a little sigh, and slipping the piece of paper out from underneath it. Not the first time someone's dropped me a note like this. What's this one say? I pocket the note and take a sip of my drink.
