Chapter One: SMACK CAM

Pinkie Pie pulled out her phone and turned on her Vine app.

Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy are behind her trying hard not to laugh while the pink headed mare was waiting for Rainbow Dash to tell her she's ready.

"Yo, Pinks, are we ready?" Said the rainbow mane mare.

Pinkie turns her head to shhh the now laughing mares , "Girls, shh. We can't take the shot unless you girls stop laughing..."

She turns her head and held her hoof high enough to line her phone camera up to capture the amazing one second shot of The Amazing Rainbow Dash saying her lines.

Pinkie Pie tapped her other hoof on the recored bottom on the screen. " ...and action!"

Raindow dash was high up in the air with a cheap white paper plate in one hoof and a wipe cream on the other. She smears the whip all over the plate in a circular motion. "Smack cam," she said in her usual pranking voice. But this was better than a prank.

After her lines, Pinkie Pie stopped the record button. "... cut! Now we go inside."

"O-my-gosh-o-my-gosh this is going to be so funny," said the party pony. All the mares were now laughing, but stopped immediately to go inside the library and to also save their laughter for the five and a half second event.

Spike, who was also part of the prank, opens the door and lead them downstairs to the basement/lab.

As soon as they made it all the way downstairs, Princess Twilight was over by the table filled with books and test tubes filled with chemicals and formulas. She was reading a book while using her telekinesis magic to mix her concoction.

"Spike," Twilight began, not looking away from the book, " is that you because I may need your help with this-"

Pinkie Pie had her camera phone recored the next following six and a half seconds: Rainbow Dash hovered next to Twilight and slapped the white plate filled pastry across Twilight's purple face. For Twilight, she never seen it coming, all she saw was a rainbow maned mare and a white, with a painful slap. She landed on the ground on her side with both hooves covering her face, only to cover her face with the white creamy white.

Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Spike, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie all said simultaneously, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Like a group of Super Bowl fans favorite team scoring a touch down.

Twilight heard, recognized the voices and used her magic to wipe off her cream covered face. She was scared, frighten, angry, and confuses.

"What in Celestia's name is going on here!" Twilight screamed.

Pinkie Pie finish the record and uploaded it to Vine. "...and done. Congratulations everypony."
All the mares and one dragon cheered. Except for Twilight. Still confused.

Twilight had just about enough. "Can somepony please tell me what is going on?"

"What's wrong, Egghead? We did a smack cam vid on you, duh," Rainbow Dash said.

"What's a 'smack cam'?" Twi said in confusion.

"You don't know? Come on Twi' it's a Vine. Have you heard of a Vine?"

Twilight shook her head, "No, I haven't."

Rainbow Dash was shocked. Her face made a heart attack cringe and quickly grabs her chest and fell to the ground. "Pinkie... show, Twi, light, Vine, vids, now."

Pinkie Pie, like the speed of light, grab twilight by the hooves and tied her to a chair.

PINKIE PIE, LET ME GO NOW!" she said, struggling to break free.

Out of nowhere she pulled out a huge flat screen T.V. And set it in front of twilight. She used a setting on her phone to connect to the T.V. so whatever is on her phone could also be seen on the T.V.

"Girls, take Rainbow Dash home. I'll deal with Twilight."Pinkie said. They obeyed. Applejack and Rarity had Rainbow on their backs and left out the basement, then Fluttershy followed. Rainbow was in a state off shock, "Girls, must, save, Twi, for , equestrian,sake..."

After they left Pinkie Pie looked at twilight. She began: "So Twilight, how long did you have the HoovePhone?"

Twilight struggled to find the words, "Umm, six months, ever since the new HoovePhone 5c came out. That's it."

"Did you even know that there are many apps that you can have on the phone? So many you can do."

"Um... some."

"Do you know Flappy Parasprite?"

"Isn't that the game that the creator made taken out off the store because it was too addicting, and where you have to tap your hooves on the screen to keep the Parasprite from falling, and avoiding trees?"

"Oh. So your familiar with the game - wait what does this do with Vine. So you don't know whats a vine right?"

Twilight nodded.

"Don't worry, Twilight. I'll show you."

Pinkie turn on the U Tube app on her phone and search for Vines compilation. She found the most popular and press play. The Two Hour Vine Compilation.

For the rest of two hours, Twilight's eyes never blinked. She couldn't believe how simple and yet was impressed how ponies could make seven second videos and post it on the internet could get you a thousand likes. She and even Pinkie Pie laughed through out the rest of the two hours.

Princess Twilight must make a vine account. She most be the most popular on the vine. This is her goal. She'll get the help of her friends too. All six of them will be the most popular on the Internet.

"Pinkie Pie," began Twilight, her voice with no emotion, eyes not blinking still, " we must make a vine account and become the greatest vine makers, or whatever of all time." She turn her head towards Pinkie, "This is our goal."
