Bath time
It’s late afternoon and the sun was setting over the horizon. Dinnertime had passed and the residents of Ponyville were winding down after a long day.
Sweetie Belle and Rarity had just finished their dinner and were doing the dishes together.
“I’ll wash them and you dry them, okay, Sweetie?” Rarity said as she floated over a newly washed plate to her little sister.
Sweetie was standing on a small stool, so she could reach up to the counter. “Okay!” she said. She grabbed the plate, dried it and placed it in the dish stand.
“Be careful, Sweetie, and try not to don’t drop anything,” Rarity said, levitating a glass to Sweetie.
Sweetie rolled her eyes and grabbed the glass. “I won’t drop anythi-” the glass slipped out of her hooves and up into the air. “Uh oh,” Sweetie exclaimed. The glass soared towards the ground, in what seemed like slow motion.
She was not going to let it crash without a fight. She threw herself onto her back and caught the glass with her mouth. She breathed a sigh of relief, which ended up fogging the inside of the glass. She climbed back onto her stool and put the glass on the counter. “Eh, you might want to wash this glass again.”
Rarity had watched the entire thing, she ruffled her sister’s mane and began washing the glass again. “That was a nice catch, a bit uncouth, but much better than having a broken glass.” She levitated the glass to Sweetie again.
Sweetie smiled at the compliment, dried the glass, got of the stool and gave her sister a hug. Rarity returned the hug and nuzzled her sister’s neck. “How about we take a bath together tonight?”
Sweetie’s eyes went wide and a big smile formed on her face. “Yay! it’s been so long since we did that.”
Rarity smiled at her sister’s adorable reaction. “Well, I still got some work to do. So why don’t you go upstairs and do your homework. I’ll come and get you once the bath is ready.
“Okay.” Sweetie, chirped as she walked upstairs and into her room.
Rarity walked upstairs and went inside her inspiration room. She shut the door, put on her glasses and finally she grabbed a tape measurement. She looked over at the naked mannequin, standing in the center of the room.
“Don’t you worry, dear, for soon your naked body will be wearing the latest masterpiece of Rarity, master dressmaker!” her horn lit up and she began to work.
Sweetie belle laid on her fury pink carpet, the long soft strands tickled her tummy. She had placed her homework on the floor next to the carpet and was doing her best. She is a very smart filly, but a bit of an airhead, so her mind tends to wander away from the task at hand and this time was no exception.
She began to scribble on the back of her homework. She drew four white stallions, who were all wearing different colored armors, but other than the colors they all looked the same.
One of them wore an orange armor and fire engulfed his sword as he swung it.
The second one was wearing a blue armor and from beneath his hooves, ice formed on the ground.
The third one had a red armor and, electricity soared around him. Causing him to look really cool. And finally there was the stallion wearing a green armor, acid dripped from his mouth and, he stood eye to eye with an evil black stallion.
The evil black stallion’s armor, covered his entire body and, his eyes were glowing with a menacingly red color. He were bringing the dead back from their slumber, to aid him in the fight against the four white stallions and, he was winning.
Soon, the land of Equestria would fall and the evil black stallion would rule over everything.
Sweetie, held the picture to her face and giggled as evilly as she could. She rubbed her hooves together and bowed before the new king of Equestria. “I’m the evil sorcerers, Sour Drum, and together we will rule all of Equestria! hahahaha!”
Suddenly the door to her room opened and Rarity stepped inside. “How is your homework coming along, Sour Drum?” she said with a smile on her face.
Sweetie looked down in the floor, with a slight blush on her face. “...Ehrm...good,” she said sheepishly.
“Are you finished?”
“No.” Sweetie, looked up at her sister. “Can you help me?”
Rarity grabbed the paper with her magic and, laid down on Sweetie’s soft rug. “Come here and, we'll see if we can’t figure this out.
Sweetie, laid down next to her sister and the two of them began working on her homework together.
Half an hour passed and the sisters had finished the homework. “Well that was rather easy, was it not?” Rarity said.
“Well, once you started helping me it got really easy,” Sweetie said with a smile.
“Marvelous. I’ll start filling the bathtub with water. Why don’t you come with me and choose the scent of the bubbles.”
“Yay!” Rarity and sweetie, walked across the hall and entered the bathroom. Rarity turned on the water and began adjusting the temperature. Once she was satisfied, she put the plug in the hole. “So, Sweetie, what scent are we having tonight?”
“Grapes!” Sweetie chirped.
“Marvelous!”
Sweetie balanced on her hind legs, with the bottle in her front hooves. “Careful, Sweetie! don’t pour in too much.”
“Don’t worry. I got this!”
She carefully poured 5 drops of bubble mixture into the tub. She turned her head and said. “See? I told you I got i-” she lost her balance and were about to hit her head against the floor.
“Careful, Sweetie!” Rarity shouted, before throwing herself onto her stomach. She slid on the floor and successfully caught her sister before it was too late.
The bottle of bubble mixture landed on the floor with a bang and shattered into several big pieces, sending mixture all over the floor.
Rarity hugged her sister tightly, looked her in the face and said. “Are you okay, Sweetie?”
Sweetie’s lower lip quivered and she began to cry. “I’m sorry, Rarity! I destroyed the bottle!” She said between sobs.
Rarity hugged her sister even tighter and held the back of her head, in a comforting manner. “Sweetie, I don’t care the bottle. The only thing I care about right now, is that you are safe.”
“But you said it was really expensive!” Sweetie sniffled.
“Sweetie,” Rarity sighed. “You are far more valuable than anything in this house. And nothing will ever change that,” She kissed Sweetie’s forehead and, put her on the floor. She grabbed a napkin with her magic and dried Sweetie’s tears. “There. Are you feeling better now?”
Sweetie, grabbed the napkin and blew her nose. “Yes… I love you, Rarity.”
“And I love you too, little sister. Now let’s clean up this mess and take our bath,” She said with a smile.
Suddenly the bathroom filled up with purple smoke and a few seconds later the bottle of mixture was whole again, now standing in its usual spot.
Rarity and Sweetie looked at each other, eyes big as dinner plates. Sweetie looked up at her sister and said. “What just happened?”
“I have not the slightest idea,” she looked out the window and caught a glimpse of a familiar red tail disappearing into the night. She tilted her head, in a questioning manner, but decided to ignore it. “Well I guess, we can take our bath now.”
“Yay!”
Rarity got in the tub and laid down on her back. Sweetie laid herself, up against her sister chest and playfully splashed in the water. Rarity wrapper her hooves around her sister and hugged her. The two sisters, stayed in the tub, till the water got cold.
A perfect ending to a peaceful evening, but certainly not the last.
