Twilight stood in the center of the room. "Got the book, Spike?" she asked excitedly.
Spike nodded, revealing a large spell book to Twilight.
"Great!" Twilight commented. Her horn began to glow magenta as she remembered the spell. Hopefully it would work for her.
A magenta-colored beam of light shot out from Twilight's horn with a sharp sizzling sound. Spike jumped out of the way to avoid any explosive effects from it. The beam of struck a bookshelf, but, strangely, the bookshelf was in perfect condition. Instead, the beam of light bounced off of the bookshelf swiftly and collided with the very tip of Twilight's horn. The librarian stumbled back, the tip of her horn singed. Another beam of light shot out of the tip of Twilight's horn and flew around her.
