The eight friends sat round a large Wooden table with pieces of paper, pencils, cider bottles and miniature figures each player had made themselves. Pinkie Pie sat at the furthest end of the table with the rule books, dice and note book with her story crudly written on. She had been elected the dungeon master and was wearing a dark purple robe in honour of her new found power. On one side, closest to Pinkie to furthest away was; Twilight, in her Starswirl clothing, Rarity, in a lovely pink and white preistest get-up, then finally Applejack, wearing green leather and some plastic chain mail she had brought a few weeks ago. On the other side, in the same order, was; Flutteshy, in a look-alike dress to Rarity's, only where the pink was there was a radiant sky blue. Next was Rainbow Dash, she hasn't even dressed up, complaining about only coming for the cider, but in truth she hasn't put the rule book of this game down and knew the entire thing backwards. On the end of the row was a blue Pegasus named Dari, a protective pony from a mystical city of Elwood, she was the last of her race, the Sirens, after a brutal war. She hasn't gotten the idea of DnD yet and had actually come in real armour, even had a long, sharp dagger to her side. On the opposite side to Pinkie, was another Pegasus, a dark cyan colour with spiky hair and a blinding scar on his left eye. Bright Haze sat on the other side, already downed a cider bottle and half-way through the second. It had been him who had suggested the game, but also mentioned how one couldn't play the game sober. He again was in real armour but not armed as Dari was.
"So everypony, from what the rules say, we all have to rule a die for our characters Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. Rarity, you go first." Twilight announced now everypony was settled. Rarity picked up her character with her magic and coughed a little.
"This is Lady Rare, a noble pony of the Elven race. She is a skilled paladin." Rarity said, smiling. "Which one makes me able to talk to a lot of ponies and such?" She continued, holding the now fake smile.
"Intelligence and Charisma." Twilight replied, quickly looking at her stacks of notes on everything this game had. Then smiled when she realized she remembered.
Rarity rolled her die. Watching it spin, eventually it stopped at seven.
"Good score, write that in for Strength." Twilight muttered, looking over to Rarity. The marshmallow penciled in her score and continued with the next, pausing before throwing. "I won't need strength though dear, Lady Rare is a fine Elf with no need for violence, only words to soomthe my dear." Rarity smiled and threw. Eight this time, she penciled it in. "Now I gotta get a big number for talking." She muttered and threw.

Rarit screamed and burst into tears. "TWO?! TWO?! I can't talk to no pony with two! I demand a re role!" Rarity shouted, basically screaming. The dice just sat, staring at her.
"I don't think you can do that Rarity, can she do that?" Twilight said, throwing bits of notes everywhere to try to find the right one. Pieces of paper flow everywhere and a few ponies began to talk amungst themselves as Rarity continued to scream at the dice. Haze had finished his second cider and cleared his throat. Twilight looked at him, papers still flying about.
"No, you can't re roll, what you get is what you get." Haze said and stuck his tongue out a little,Dari laughed and Rarity was basically crying.
"Maybe I should go, whilst the radiant lady Elf sorts herself out." Twilight said, a few laughs appeared around the table. Twilight picked up her figure. It was a shorter character than Rarity's with different colours. In one hoof it was holding a long staff with a red painted triangle gem in it.
"I am a pony wizard Starlight the Flame, I guess I roll for level?" Twilight asked, Haze nodded and she rolled a dice. After a moment it landed on a four. Making her character able to choose three spells and cast three spells a day. Twilight gave a poker face, four was a decent score. But being able to go up to at least level six in this version, she could have gotten better. She began to roll for all her stats and got pretty balanced scores, only her strength was low scoring.
By the time Twilight had finished Rarity had pulled herself together and finished her rolls, she began crying with happiness when she got an eight in charisma.
Next up was Applejack, she showed an Earth pony in leather and chain, much like what she was dressed in with a bow and quiver on its back and a bastard sword in a scabbard.
"Ah am the Earth pony ranger, Applegorn, daughter of Applefawn." She declared, placing her figure with the others. She began to roll.
Next up was Fluttershy, she lifted her unicorn character up, who looked a lot like Fluttershy, but with red hair and a unicorn tip instead of wings. She muttered something and then repeated louder.
"This is erm, Fireshy, a, erm... Cleric." Naturally Fluttershy had gone for the healing, support class of the group, and good on her. She placed her character at the back of the three then began to roll a dice. Three, she was a slightly weaker spell caster than Twilight or Rarity (Who after much debate also got a four), but she was only down one spell choice, the same amount per day.
Next was Rainbow Dash, who picked her character up and just mumbled the name, blushing. Applejack laughed, knowing what Rainbow had called her character. The winged pony had blue leather armour on with a small hand crossbow in hoof, a quiver of bolts and a long rapier in a scabbard next to the familiar pony. It was Daring Doo in medieval armour.
"This is Daring Dash, a rouge." Rainbow said slowly, blushing again, a few giggles broke out.
Finally on the end of the table Dari picked her piece. It was a master painted character of many colours, looking bright and powerful. Holding a staff with a curved blade on the end, more like a bardiche than a mages staff.
"This is Sheldor, an elven wizard, also named after my old friend." Dari muttered, clearly with mixed emotions of sadness, pride, anger and anything else she could muster over the memory of her dead friend.
Finally the group looked to the leader of the little party, starting all this. Haze sat up in his chair and smiled. Picking up the large, armoured character, it had a large Axe on its back, a sword in a scabbard and a shield that covered one leg.
"This is Lord Elftra Evanous, the name I give to all my fantany-RP characters. He is a fighter, I'll get rolling." Haze said and did, getting a very high score of nine on strength.
After he finished Pinkie began to talk, but Twilight stopped her. "Now we have characters, we need to decide roles, positions, class types, the list goes on." Indeed it did, she had a good fourth pages of notes in front of her just under the title of After Choosing.
"Well the same posistions in any game, healers, support and ranged at the back. Tanks up front and fighters middle." Haze replied quickly. Everypony stared at him.
"Fireshy is our only healer, unless any mage picks abjuration spells. So she goes to the back. This is all dependent on what you two chose, in fact, pick now." Haze muttered, becoming quite stern toward the end.
"I'll go an abjurer, just to help Fluttershy." Dari nodded, the yellow made nodded her thanks.
"Paladins don't get sub-classes do they?" Rarity asked, Haze nodded. "But I will pick my spells now, Aurora of Good, Detect Evil and Heal." She smiled and placed her character again just in front of Dari and Fluttershy.
"And I'll go as a necromancer." Twilight said. Haze nodded and Applejack laughed again.
"Not like you Twi to raise the dead." The farmpony said.
"Around here I don't need to." She replied, looking to Haze and Dari. Who had both physically died but some abnormal reason brought them back.
"Moving on." Haze mutters smiling. "Dari with Fluttershy, then left side Applejack, right side Dash. Front can be me and Twilight. I'll take most hits but I may need you to get a few buff spells you two." Haze added, looking to the two healers. They nodded and looked to their spell list Twilight had handed out.
"So, are we ready?" Pinkie asked, eager to get her story started. Everypony nodded and she began...
