I ran as fast as I could and snuck inside Lightning Dust's house, sneaky as a shadow, but yet again, why wouldn't I be?
I sniffed the air, my mouth drooling, the meaty scent of pony filling my nostrils.
I licked my chops and snuck towards the bed, anxious.
I was on the side the mint green pegasus was sleeping on, her mouth dabbled with drool, and her breathing forcing one or two snores at a time. Her nose twinged a bit, her breathing gruff. I smirked and breathed softly.
I grinned, and slowly got on the bed, and slid my claws across her stomach.The cuts weren't deep enough, and she stirred, and awoke. panic and fear flooded her eyes.She saw me as a creature, and kicked me against a wall.
"Heh, Lightning Dust, silly you, you think you can beat me?" My voice was gruff as I choked out the words.
"M-midnight? It can't be you..." she uttered, slowly approaching me.
"Ah, but it is me, and you're my lucky winner, my VICTIM." I rasped, put a paw on her throat and pinning her to the ground.
"Urk! W-why?" she choked out, her face turning a blue, her eyes full of fear.
"I've changed, my dear cousin, and now I must eat, for I'm BLOODTHIRSTY." I growled grimly, and watched my cousin fall to the ground, dead.
My fangs ripped at the flesh, the metallic taste of blood dripping down my throat, the meat tasty and filling. The juices flowed in my mouth, so satisfying.
I licked my paws once I was done my meal, and rested in the forest, in a nice, warm cave, my new den.
In the middle of the night, I awoke and snuck towards Shimmer Stone's house, my stomach still unsatisfied.
I crept in a window, and snuck towards her bed. The grey unicorn was snoring slightly, and was looking peaceful. I slanted my claws across her throat so she couldn't breathe. She stirred, slightly still alive, her eyes wide with fear. She gurgled a scream, as blood flooded out of her mouth, and her green eyes turned white.
My teeth ripped at the flesh, the meat searing and flavor filled.
I had then wanted to kill Minty Breeze, but then I held back on that one. Same with the other 4. I was satisfied for now.
I awoke, hooves and all. Blood stained my fur, and I trotted out into the open, a path back to Ponyville, after washing my fur.
There was police tape everywhere. I remembered what happened last night.
My eyes widened in disgust and fear.
"What if they-" My thought was cut off when the Wonderbolts tackled me down.
"Get off!" I growled, trying to kick Spitfire off me.
"Nope, sorry. You're under accusation of murdering Lightning Dust." She replied coolly, motioning Soarin to hold my wings down. I struggled, and growled at them, trying to strangle free.
"The fur matches her color. Nice work. And blood stains on the floor and faded in her fur." A police stallion stated, a dart gun pointed at me.
My mouth widened. How had they known? Had I shed that much fur? Or did I leave stains of blood?
Drowsiness fled over me. I collapsed on the dirt, into a deep unconsciousness of blackness.
Madness. Insanity. A killer. A monster. All those words add up to actually harming and killing some ponies, or as for me.
I have no idea what caused it, anyway. It just sorta happened. I killed my own friend and cousin.
Now I sit here in my prison cell, rotting away. But tomorrow's the full moon, so I'm gonna break outta here.
But, before I plan the escape, I think you'd like to hear how it all happened, don't you?
The rain pelted my fur, the voices yelling at me in my head. My eyes were stained with tears, my vision a sad and droopy blur.
The voice had been bothering me for months now.
It was gruff and sinister, dripping with evil every word it spat at me.
"Kill them, your friends! You know you wanna taste the blood on your fangs, and feel the taste of flesh on your tongue."
I tried to push the voice away, my voice a growl as I screamed at myself, now slipping into madness. I had finally lost it.
Ponies store at me. I didn't care-I was already an outcast to the world.
The voice overwhelmed me, and the change came. I was the evil side now.
"The edge of the forest!" the voice commanded harshly.
I obeyed it, like a robot or slave of some sort. I was at the edge of the Everfree Forest.
Since it was raining, I couldn't tell if it was dark or not, and that worried me, because I'm a werepony, and you know what night means.
I felt confused and lost, then had pain hit me in the gut.
My squinted gaze caught moonlight shining down.
"Ngnhh, agh...argh!" I cried, my stomach twisting in knots and my body burning, on fire with pain.
"Yes, the change is so magnificent!" The voice rasped as I screamed in pain.
"Ngh! Make it stop!' I howled, curled in a ball.
I dragged my self to a nearby pond, and looked in it, yelping in surprise as the pain took me down once more.
I saw a glimpse of fangs and yellow eyes with stilts in my reflection.
My ears sharpened, causing me to hear almost everything around me.
Rows of fangs replaced my teeth. My muzzled stretched out, cracking as it was now a wolf-like snout.
My mind was also changing-a wolf sense inside. A growl was an only speech, unless if I see somepony whom is close-if I'm lucky. My hooves had split into paws equipped with long black claws. A howl ebrupted from my mouth. "Owooohh!"
"Perfect! just perfect! Now, here comes the fun part-go scent down your friends and KILL THEM."
KILL THEM. The words hit me like a ton of bricks. Then, my frown grew into an evil fanged smile.
"I'd love to." I growled, running over to Ponyville.
