The Great Race

Twilight soon saw what everypony was looking at. A large raspberry colored star lay above their heads. But it wasn't just any star. It was Twilight's cutie mark. Behind the star shot out a ray of bright purple, sapphire, and rose, the colors of Twilight's mane. Soon, everypony was looking at her. Suddenly, Lyra Heartstrings yelled, "You did a sonic starboom!" In a few seconds, all of the crowd was engulfing her in yells, pushes, screams, and shoves, just trying to look at her. But one pony wasn't trying to get to Twilight. One pony stood feet away, wings pulled at her side. That one pony was Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow had a murderous look on her face. How could they have suddenly forgotten about her Sonic Rainboom? And why were they swamping a pony who had just gotten her wings? She had no idea, but she was going to prove that she was a better flier than Twilight.
