Chapter 1 A Picture

In Thunderstorm’s castle.

“King Thunderstorm!!” A guard says.

“What is it Hurricane?” Thunderstorm says.

“Some strange object was found 50 miles outside of the Crystal Empire.” “We have no idea what it is.” “Here’s a picture that Hail drew.” Hurricane says.

“What a strange shape.” “What could it be?” “Looks like some kind of technology.” “Have Ratchet look into it.” Thunderstorm says.

“Yes sir.” Hurricane says and runs out the room.

Thunderstorm stares at the picture.

Rainbow Dash walks up to him “What is that?” She says.

“I wish I knew.” Thunderstorm says.

“It looks strange.” “Did somepony see this?” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm nods.

“What are we going to do?” Rainbow Dash says.

“I got Ratchet working on it.” Thunderstorm says.

“Oh cool.” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm puts the picture on the wall then smiles at Rainbow Dash “How is my pregnant Queen?” He kisses her.

She smiles. “Great besides being 5 months pregnant.” “I can barely walk I’m so fat.” She says.

Thunderstorm smiles at her even more. “You couldn’t be more beautiful.” He says.

“No pony this fat is beautiful.” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm gives her a long kiss.

“Wow…you do still think I’m beautiful.” She says.

“Let me take you to that bed and I’ll show you even more how beautiful you are to me.” Thunderstorm says.

Rainbow Dash blushes and giggles. “Thunderstorm.” “Stop it.”

Thunderstorm smiles. “I can’t help it.” “You are so beautiful and strong willed.” “How you have even gotten through 3 months I don’t know.” “I couldn’t have.” Thunderstorm says.

“Now you’re just bullshitting me.” She says.

“Possibly.” “Ow.” He says.

She hits his shoulder.

He laughs. “I was just joking.” He rubs his shoulder. “Ow.” He says.

“That’s what you get you joker.” She says.

“But seriously.” “Want to go to the bed?” He says.

“I don’t really feel like it.” “I wobble just to walk.” “I don’t think I be very good right now.” She says.

“Making love to you is always good.” “You are the pony I love.” He says.

Rainbow Dash smiles. “Ok.” “Let’s go.” She says.

Thunderstorm smiles. “Lets.” He says.

The next day.

Thunderstorm smiles at Rainbow Dash sleeping.

He kisses her cheek. “I love you Dashy.” He starts to get out of the bed.

“Wait Thunder.” She says.

“Dashy.” “You’re awake.” He says.

“Please don’t leave.” She says.

“I was just going to make you some breakfast and then bring it to you.” “Breakfast in bed.” He says.

Rainbow Dash kisses him. “You are too sweet.” She says.

Thunderstorm smiles.

“Never.” He says.

“You were amazing last night.” She says.

“So were you.” He says.

“I just want to lay here with you forever.” She says.

Thunderstorm smiles even more. “Back at ya.” He says and they kiss.

Hurricane runs into the room. “Thunderstorm!!” “Some kind of creatures are here!!” “We need your…” He says.

A creature lands on Hurricane’s back and stabs a small claw into his forehead then flies off.

“What the hay was that?” “Hurricane are you ok?” Thunderstorm says.

Things grow out of Hurricane’s body. “Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” He says.

“Hurricane get a hold of yourself!” Thunderstorm says.

“Oh Shit.” Rainbow Dash says.

Hurricane tackles Thunderstorm.

“Hurricane don’t make me hurt you!!” He says.

“Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” Hurricane says.

POW!!

Hurricane falls onto the floor. His body in half.

“What the hay was that?!” “David?” Thunderstorm says.

“I’ll explain later.” “Where did you get this picture?” David says.

“Hurricane gave it to me yesterday.” “Hail drew it.” “What are you wearing?” Thunderstorm says.

“No time to explain right now.” “Where is this?” David says.

“50 miles outside of The Crystal Empire.” Thunderstorm says.

“I brought the same suits for everypony.” “Here’s yalls.” “Put them on fast.” David says.

A few minutes later.

“Let me help you Dashy.” “There we go.” “We’re ready.” Thunderstorm says.

“Good.” “Take these.” David says.

“What are they?” Thunderstorm says.

“Plasma cutters.” “It’s what I used to kill Hurricane.” David says.

“You still haven’t explained what’s going on.” Thunderstorm says.

“I will but not now.” “Follow me and stay close.” David says.

They follow David down the hallway and all the way down to Thunderstorm’s throne room.

“Is that doc?” Thunderstorm says.

“Not anymore.” “I had to shoot him on my way to yall.” David says.

He slowly opens one of the front doors.

“We’re clear.” “Follow me and move fast.” He says.

“I can’t really move fast.” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm levitates her onto his back. “Let’s go.” He says.

“On three.” “One…two….three!” David says and they all run outside.

“Where are we going?!” Thunderstorm says.

“To mine and Cheerilee’s bunker!” David says.

“Is anypony else there?!” Thunderstorm says.

“All the others are!” David says.

“Ok.” Thunderstorm says.

David looks up into the sky. “Take cover!” He says and they dive behind some rocks.

“That’s some of the creatures that stabbed Hurricane in his forehead.” Thunderstorm says.

“I’ll tell you everything when we reach the bunker.” David says.

“How far away is it?” Thunderstorm says.

“About another….30 miles.” David says.

“What?!!” Thunderstorm says.

“We had to make sure that it was in a safe place.” David says.

“You saved The Cutie Mark Crusaders right?” Thunderstorm says.

“Oh…I knew I forgot something.” David says.

Thunderstorm puts Rainbow Dash beside David.

“Keep her safe.” He says and flies off.

“No wait!!” “Damn him.” David says

“We have to go after him.” Rainbow Dash says.

“Are you crazy?!” “If I don’t take you to the bunker first!” “He’ll kill me!!” “I’m getting you to the bunker.” David says.

“No.” Rainbow Dash says.

“No arguments.” David says.

“I’am the Queen of Equestria and you will do what I say.” Rainbow Dash says.

“Out of all respect no.” “I’m taking you to the bunker.” David says.

“How?” “You don’t have Thunder’s strength.” “You can’t carry me.” Rainbow Dash says.

“Good point.” “I guess we wait for him to come back then.” “Good thing I have plenty of ammo.” David says.

“Oh Luna.” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm lands in front of the Cutie Mark Crusaders club house.

Thunderstorm runs into the club house.

“Girls!!” He says.

Applebloom and Scootaloo lie on the floor dead.

“No.” He says and tears go down his cheeks.

“Thu….Thunderstorm?” A voice says.

Thunderstorm turns around.

“Sweetie Belle.” He says.

She hugs his hoof crying.

“Thunderstorm.” She says.

Thunderstorm hugs her and wraps his wings around her.

“I’m here Sweetie.” He says.

Sweetie Belle cries into his chest.

Thunderstorm looks at Applebloom’s and Scootaloo’s bodies.

“Let’s get out of here.” He says.

“Sniffle.” “Ok.” She says.

Thunderstorm looks into her eyes.

“Don’t worry.” “I’ll keep you safe.” “I promise.” He says.

She smiles.

Thunderstorm levitates her onto his back then takes off.

Where David and Rainbow Dash are.

Thunderstorm lands with Sweetie Belle on his back.

“About time!!” “I’ve had to shoot like 30 Necromorphs!!” David says.

“Necro what?” Thunderstorm says.

“Can we just get to the bunker?” David says.

“Let’s go.” Thunderstorm says.

Sweetie Belle moves to the top of his head and Thunderstorm levitates Rainbow Dash onto his back.

In front of the bunker.

“Wait.” “Where isApplebloom and Scootaloo?” Rainbow Dash says.

Sweetie Belle starts crying.

Thunderstorm looks at the ground.

“No.” She says.

“Oh man.” David says.

Thunderstorm’s eyes glow red.

“Those things killed them.” He says.

Storm clouds form in the sky.

“You are going to tell me everything about them and then!!” He says.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CRACKLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A storm roars as Thunderstorm’s anger grows.

“I’m going to kill every last one of them.” Thunderstorm says.

“Come on then.” David says.

They enter the bunker.

Lights come on.

Lighting up a long corridor.

“That’s odd.” “That blood wasn’t there before.” David says.

Thunderstorm closes his eyes and listens.

“I hear nothing.” He says.

“Please no.” David says.

They run down the corridor and turn a corner.

A Necromorph Cheerilee stands in front of them.

“Crap.” Thunderstorm says.

“Celestia no.”David says.

She runs at Thunderstorm.

“David!!” “A filly and a pregnant mare in danger here!!!”Thunderstorm says.

POW!!

She falls down dead.

“Thank you.”Thunderstorm says.

David stares at Cheerilee.

Thunderstorm wraps a wing around him.

“I’m sorry.” “I’m so sorry.” He says.

“I could’ve been here.” “You had to go to the club house.”David says.

“If I didn’t then Sweetie Belle would’ve ended up dead like Applebloom and Scootaloo.” “We had a choice to make.” “To save a filly or a mare and we chose the filly.” “Would you really leave a filly to die?”Thunderstorm says.

“No.”David says.

“Exactly.” “Thanks to us a sweet little filly that has her whole life ahead of her is still alive.” “We made our decision now let’s move on.”Thunderstorm says.

“Right.” David says.

They enter a room.

Sweetie Belle jumps off Thunderstorm and runs to Rarity.

Rarity hugs her.

“What about Applebloom?” Applejack says.

Thunderstorm looks at the ground and shakes his head.

“Celestia no.” Applejack says.

Tears go down her cheeks.

“Scootaloo to?”Twilight says.

Thunderstorm nods.

“Those poor girls.” “They had no idea what was coming.” Twilight says.

“Everypony listen up.” “I’m going to tell you everything that I know.”David says.

“That will be short.”JT says.

Twilight smacks him on the back of his head.

“I’ll shut up.”JT says.

Twilight smiles.

Hours later.

“And that’s it.”David says.

Thunderstorm pulls up a map.

“They’re covering the planet quickly.” “We need to find any survivors and gather together.” “Together we are strong.” “And we live long.” Thunderstorm says.

“Our mission is clear.” “To find any survivors that we can and to take out the Necromorphs markers.” “To kick these son of bitches out of our planet.”Ratchet says.

“Right now we are small!” “But we are great together!” “And we will grow.” “We will come together and we…will..conquer.” “We are Equestrians and this is our home!!!” “Let’s show them who they’re messing with!!!” “Who’s home they have attacked!!!” “Let’s show them what a pony can do.”Thunderstorm says.

Everypony cheers.

“Our mission is clear.” “To reach the marker that is 150 miles from this bunker and take it out.”Ratchet says.

“Keep close and keep on guard.” “Let’s go.”Thunderstorm says.

“I forgot Angel.” “Can we please go get him?”Fluttershy says.

“Sure Flutter.”Thunderstorm says.

Fluttershy smiles.

“Thanks Thunder.” She says.

Thunderstorm smiles.

“No problem.” He says.

At Ponyville.

“Wow.”David says.

“Yeah.”Thunderstorm says.

“Dang.”Ratchet says

“Buck.” JT says.

Blood, bodies, ruined houses, the smell of death in the air and much more is in front of them.

“On three run.”“One…two…three!”David says and they all run.

At Fluttershy’s cottage.

“Angel!!” She says and runs inside.

“Fluttershy wait!!”Thunderstorm and David say.

Everypony runs after her.

In Fluttershy’s Cottage.

Fluttershy is holding Angel at hoofs length away from her.

He’s clawing and snarling at her.

“Angel.” “What’s wrong with you?”Fluttershy says.

“Oh buck.”Thunderstorm says.

“Oh man.”David says. Angel scratches her hoof.

“Ow!!” She says and drops him.

He jumps on her.

“That’s not Angel Fluttershy!!!” “Not anymore!!” “Kill him!!!” “Now!!!”Thunderstorm says.

Fluttershy holds Angel’s claws back.

“I don’t want to hurt Angel.” She says.

Tears go down her cheeks.

“Angel please….don’t do this.” She says.

“Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” He says and scratches her face.

“Ah!”She says.

“Kill him!!”Thunderstorm says.

Fluttershy pushes him off and pulls out a plasma cutter and points it at Angel.

“Ha huh.” “Ha huh.” “Angel…please.” She says.

“Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!”Angel says.

He jumps at her.

POW!!

Angel’s blood splatters on her.

She drops the plasma cutter and breaks down crying.

Thunderstorm steps forward.

“No….you got to look after Rainbow Dash.” “I got it.” David says and walks to Fluttershy and hugs her.

She cries into his chest.

“Fluttershy.” “I wish I could help.” “I’m so sorry my little butterfly.”Thunderstorm says.

“You do.” “By being here.” “You’ve looked after her since you were a teenager.”Rainbow Dash says.

“I’m older than Flutter.” “She’s like a daughter to me yet also a sister.” “I just want to look after her.” “To protect her from any pain.” “I don’t want her to hurt Dashy.” He says.

Tears go down his cheeks.

“I know but it’s unavoidable.” “Just be there when she needs a father or brother.”Rainbow Dash says.

“Always.” “Sniffle.” “How is my beautiful pregnant queen?”Thunderstorm says.

“Ready to have this baby.” “I hate not being able to do anything.” “I can’t even run!” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm laughs.

“I know it hurts.” “I know how you feel.” “I had to shoot Cheerilee.” David says.

A tear goes down his cheek.

“Ha huh.”“Ha huh.” “But Cheerilee and Angel are free now.” “They’re in a better place and Angel wouldn’t want you to cry and I don’t either.” David says.

Fluttershy looks up at him.

“I’ll always be here to take the hurt away.” “I promise.”David says.

They slowly kiss.

“Hey!!”Thunderstorm says.

David and Fluttershy look at him in shock.

Thunderstorm walks over to them.

“Keep your lips away from my sister’s!!!” Thunderstorm says and pushes them apart.

“I think she’s been hurt enough.” “You stay away or you’ll be the next one dead.” “Beside me Fluttershy.” Thunderstorm says.

Fluttershy stands up.

“Ok Thunder.” She says.

Thunderstorm kisses the top of her head.

“I’m just trying to keep you safe.” “You know that right?” He says.

“Yeah.”Fluttershy says.

“Good.” “Let’s go.”Thunderstorm says.

“You can’t keep us apart forever.”David says.

Thunderstorm stops walking.

“Oh no.”Fluttershy says.

“He just fucked up.”Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm looks back at him.

“What did you just say?” He says.

“I said you can’t keep us apart forever.” “She cares about me and I care about…” He says.

POW!! BOOM!!!!

Thunderstorm punches him to the floor.

David tries to stand back up but falls back down.

“I told you that if you didn’t stay away that you’d be the next one dead.” Thunderstorm says and steps on his chest.

David cringes in pain.

SHING!!

Thunderstorm’s armor appears and he points it at David’s neck.

“You must’ve thought I was kidding.” “Can’t keep you apart forever huh?” “I think this will be pretty permanent.” “Don’t you?” “She won’t be hurt anymore!!!” Thunderstorm says and raises his wing.

“No!!” Fluttershy screams and jumps over David’s neck and looks up at Thunderstorm.

“Move Flutter.”Thunderstorm says.

“No.”Fluttershy says.

“Flutter!!”“Move!!”Thunderstorm says.

“No Thunder.” “I do care about him and he understands how much I’m hurting…..what I lost.” She says.

Tears go down her cheeks.

“If you truly care about me then you won’t take that away from me.” “Please Thunder.”She says.

Thunderstorm’s wing shakes.

“F…Fine.” He says and puts his wing up and his armor disappears and he steps off of David.

Fluttershy hugs Thunderstorm.

“Thank you so much Thunder!!” She says and kisses his cheek then hugs David.

Thunderstorm looks at Fluttershy in shock.

“You’re blushing.” Rainbow Dash says.

“I’m just caught off guard is all.”Thunderstorm says.

“I know.” “Don’t worry.” “He won’t hurt her.”Rainbow Dash says.

“How do you know that?”Thunderstorm says.

“Because he looks at her the same way that you look at me.” “Would you hurt me?”Rainbow Dash says.

“I never could.” “Even if I tried.”Thunderstorm says.

“Exactly.”Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm looks at Fluttershy and David.

“I just can’t let go.” He says.

“You don’t have to.” “I’ll keep you in check.”Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm smiles.

“Thanks Dashy.” He says.

Rainbow Dash smiles.

“Happy to Thunder.”She says.

They kiss.

“That was pretty brave what you did for me Fluttershy.”David says.

Fluttershy blushes.

“It was nothing.” “I know Thunder would never hurt me.” “He’s like a father slash brother to me.” “He’s protective like a father but likes to cut up with me like a brother.” “Are you alright?” She says.

David smiles.

“I’m fine.” “Thunder is my friend to.” “He wasn’t going to kill me.” “Nearly kill me yes but kill me no.” “The important thing is…are you ok?” He says.

“I’am now.” She says and kisses him.

Twilight says “We should move on before something shows up.” Fluttershy says “What about Angel?” “I can’t just leave him like that.” Thunderstorm says “I got it Flutter.” “Yall can go.” “I’ll take care of Angel.” Rainbow Dash says “What about me?” Thunderstorm says “Ratchet carry her.” Ratchet says “Are you crazy?!” “She’ll break my back!!” Rainbow Dash says “Excuse me?” Thunderstorm says “Well if your to weak to carry a mare then…” Ratchet says “No.” “I’ll carry her.” Ratchet puts her on his back and barely

stands up. Thunderstorm says “Be a stallion.” David says “We don’t have your strength Thunder.” “We’re not sons of a Dark King.” Thunderstorm says “No excuses.” “Now get out of here.” They all leave. Thunderstorm looks at Angel and says “Goodbye my friend.” Angel catches on fire and it spreads to the walls. Thunderstorm says “No pony will miss this place.” He leaves the cottage and catches up to the others. Fluttershy says “You buried him that fast?” Thunderstorm says “Um….yep.” “Magic is great to have.” He

smiles at her. She smiles back and says “Thanks Thunder….for always being there.” Thunderstorm frowns and says “Sure Flutter.” David says “What’s wrong?” Thunderstorm says “Nothing.” Applejack says “Is that smoke?” Thunderstorm says “Don’t be crazy.” David says “Uh guys.” Thunderstorm says “What?” David says “We’re still miles from the marker right?” Thunderstorm says “Twilight?” Twilight says “Yep.” “Why?” David points forward and says “That’s why.” They all look forward. A marker stands

a few feet away from them. Thunderstorm says “Buck there’s two.” “I’ll take care of it.” SHING!! Armor appears on Thunderstorm’s wings. He starts walking to the marker. Princess Luna steps in front of him. Thunderstorm stops and says “Mother?” Princess Luna says “Why did you let me die?” Thunderstorm says “You’re dead?” Princess Luna says “I would’ve come to you if I wasn’t!” “You know I’m dead!!” “Why did you let me die?!!” Thunderstorm says “I’m sorry mother.” “I didn’t know what was going on.” Tears

go down his cheeks. He says “I didn’t know that you needed me.” Rainbow Dash says “What is going on?” “Luna isn’t there.” David says “Oh buck.” “Thunderstorm!!” BOOM!!! Thunderstorm faints. David says “Oh no.” Rainbow Dash says “What is going on?!!!” David says “You might want to sit down before I tell you and try to stay calm since you’re pregnant.” Rainbow Dash sits down and says “I’am calm.” “Now tell me before I break your face.” David says “You are Thunderstorm’s wife.” Rainbow Dash smiles and says

“Thank you.” “Now tell me.” David sighs and says “Ok.” In Thunderstorm’s head. Thunderstorm says “I’m sorry!!!” He falls on knees crying and says “I’m so sorry.” Princess Luna walks up to him. Her eyes glowing and says “Don’t worry son.” “We will be whole soon.” Thunderstorm says “Huh?” “M…Mother?” “What are you doing?” She grabs his neck and says “Making us whole.” Thunderstorm says “Mother….I can’t breathe.” “Mother….Mother please.” Princess Luna says

“Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” Back to David and Rainbow Dash. David says “And that’s it.” Rainbow Dash says “Oh Luna.” “Please make it Thunder.” Pinkie Pie says “The blue thing on Thundy’s back is now yellow and dropping.” “It changes colors!” “Cool!!” David says “What?!!” Rainbow Dash says “What’s wrong?” David says “It’s his health!” “It’s dropping!!” “He’s dying!!” Rainbow Dash says “What?!!!” In Thunderstorm’s head. Thunderstorm says “You’re not…..mother.” “She wouldn’t…..hurt me…like….this.” “Let…..go.” It smiles at him. BOOM!!!! Thunderstorm catches on fire. Princess Luna screams “Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!” She lets go out of pain. Thunderstorm says “Get out of my heeeeeeead!!!” SHING!! He stabs his armor through her chest. Back to David and Rainbow Dash. Thunderstorm’s eyes slowly open and he stands up but stumbles. Applejack catches him and says “Whoa partner.” “Just slow down.” “You’ve been through quite a rodeo.” Rainbow Dash runs to him and

hugs him and says “Thunderstorm!!!” She kisses him and says “I’m so glad you’re ok.” “I was so worried.” “Your health was dropping.” Thunderstorm shakes his head and says “I’m…I’m fine Dashy.” She smiles and hugs him. Thunderstorm thinks “I saw Aunt Celestia behind mother.” “I’m alone….the last of the royal family.” “My family is gone.” “Father is probably dead to but my reason to fight and keep on is hugging me now.” “Together we stand and together we rise.” Thunderstorm says “David.”

David says “Yeah?” Thunderstorm says “I’ve done enough for one day.” “You can destroy the marker.” David says “Ok.” Fluttershy says “No.” David says “I’ll be fine.” “Don’t worry.” He starts walking to the marker. Thunderstorm and the others watch him. A voice says “Daddy.” David stops and turns around and says “Cheryl?” Cheryl walks up to him and says “Daddy.” Tears go down her cheeks and she says “Why did you let me die daddy?” David says “I…I couldn’t get to you or your brothers and sister.” “I’m

sorry.” Sandstorm, Sourcan, Berryllee, and Cheerilee stand beside Cheryl. BOOM!! David faints. Fluttershy says “David!!” Thunderstorm stops her and says “You can’t help him.” “Just stay back where I know you’re safe and hope.” Tears go down Fluttershy’s cheeks and she says “David.” Thunderstorm says “This kind of worry and hurt is exactly what I want to protect her from.” “She doesn’t need this.” Rainbow Dash says “I go through it with you.” Thunderstorm says “You a lot stronger than Flutter and

you know that.” Rainbow Dash says “You can’t protect her forever.” “If love found a way into your dark heart then it will find a way past you and she will be with who she wants to be with.” Thunderstorm says “If you’re trying to convince me to let go that will never happen.” “I’d sooner go to Hell.” Rainbow Dash says “Please don’t say that.” Thunderstorm says “Sorry Dashy.” In David’s head. Cheryl, Sandstorm, Sourcan, and Berryllee hug him. David hugs them back. Tears going down his cheeks. Cheerilee stares at

him.
