Chapter 9 A Broken Heart

Everypony looks at Thunderstorm as they walk. Thunderstorm keeps walking. Staring forward. Rainbow Dash says “Thunder…are you ok?” Thunderstorm keeps walking. Thunderstorm looks at her and says “I love you Dashy.” “I’m sure I’ll see you both soon.” Rainbow Dash says “Please.” “We can still save Equestria.” Twilight says “It’s never too late.” Rarity says “Please stick by us.” Applejack says “We’ve stuck by you partner.” “It’s only right that you do the same.” Pinkie Pie says “I made you some cupcakes.” “Please don’t go Thundy.” Fluttershy walks up

to Thunderstorm and says “After all the years you’ve looked after me.” “You’re just going to leave me?” Thunderstorm says “You don’t need me anymore.” “You have David.” “Don’t you get it?” “I’m the King of Equestria.” “I was responsible for keeping all the lives that are dead now alive.” “I was supposed to protect them but they’re all dead.” “We’re all that’s left.” “I couldn’t even protect my own daughter.” “I’m done Flutter.” Fluttershy says “So you’re just going to leave me and Rainbow Dash and your own

unborn baby to die?” “I thought you cared about us?” Tears go down Fluttershy’s cheeks and she says “I thought you cared about me and everypony else.” Thunderstorm says “I do.” Fluttershy says “Then don’t leave us….please.” A creature walks out of the forest. David says “Oh crap an Ubermorph!” It runs at Dia De Los Muerto. SHING!! It’s claw hits Thunderstorm’s armor. Dia De Los Muerto looks up at Thunderstorm and smiles. Thunderstorm says “You’ve taken enough.” “You won’t take her!!!” SHING!!!

He cuts the claw off. The Ubermorph screams “Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” Thunderstorm says “David!” “Isaac!” “Shoot the rest of its arms off!” POW!! POW!! David and Isaac shoot them off. It screams again “Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” SHING!! SHING!! SHING!! SHING!! SHING!! SHING!! SHING!! The thing falls into pieces. Dead. Thunderstorm kneels down in front of Dia De Los Muerto and says “Are you ok sweetie?” She hugs him and says “I’m fine daddy.” “Thank you.” Thunderstorm smiles and says “Happy

to sweetie.” Isaac says “You see.” “You do still have something to live for.” David says “You do still have a daughter.” “You’re hugging her right now.” Isaac walks up between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash and says “They were in your head to when you were killing that thing weren’t they?” Thunderstorm says “Of course.” Isaac says “A beautiful pregnant wife, a beautiful sister, and a pretty daughter.” “Can you really leave?” Thunderstorm looks at Dia De Los Muerto. She smiles at him. Her beautiful light blue eyes shining at him. Thunderstorm smiles back and says “No…No I can’t.” She hugs him tight. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy run over and hug him to. Thunderstorm stands up with Dia De Los Muerto on his back and looks at her, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash and says “My family.” “You are the strongest part of me.” “Thank you for keeping me alive.” They all says “Awwwww.” And hug him. Isaac says “You said he’s a Dark King right?” David says “Yep.” Isaac says “Are you sure that you know what a Dark King is?” David says “You haven’t seen what we’ve seen.”

“Trust me.” “He fits the title.” Isaac says “but he’s not evil.” David says “It’s very complicated ok.” “I can’t explain it.” “Let’s just move on.” Isaac says “Ok.” 4 months later. Rainbow Dash is lying up against a tree holding hers and Thunderstorm’s baby. Twilight says “Awwwwww.” “It’s a girl.” Thunderstorm smiles and says “What do you want to name her?” Rainbow Dash smiles and says “Rain.” “Rainstorm.” Thunderstorm says “Perfect.” Rarity says “She’s so cute.” “Goochy goochy goo.” Rain giggles. Applejack

says “I still can’t believe that Fluttershy is 4 months pregnant.” Fluttershy blushes. David says “Still as beautiful as the first day I saw her.” Fluttershy kisses his cheek and smiles. Isaac looks at them all and smiles and says “There is hope.” Thunderstorm gives Rainbow Dash a long kiss and smiles and says “I love you Dashy.” “Thank you for this wonderful gift.” Rainbow Dash smiles and says “Thank you to.” Thunderstorm says “For what?” Rainbow Dash says “For being here.” She kisses him. He kisses her back.

Isaac says “Uh….it’s time to move!” “We got about three Ubermorphs heading this way!!” Thunderstorm levitates Rainbow Dash onto his back then Rain into a small crib that’s on Rainbow Dash’s back and says “Let’s go.” Isaac says “Your strength is ridiculous.” David says “We know.” “Now run!!” End of Chapter 9
