//-------------------------------------------------------// Ooops I'm pregnant -by SkyDreamer104- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1- Oh NO! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1- Oh NO! Luna's Palace, Unknown Location Luna looked up at the night sky. He was dead. He was not coming back. A tear dripped down her cheek. For the last four months, Luna had moped around her palace, alone. Love had entered her life, just like Cadence said it would, but a month after she got engaged, he was killed. Why? Why did he have to go to battle that night? Why did the dragon slay him? Why was she all alone again? Luna decided to fly. Up, up and away into the sky. They loved to fly together. It had been just them, the clouds and the stars. Luna had begged Celestia to bring him back. But Celestia didn't care. 'A bat pony lover is not worthy to be given another chance.' 'Celestia please!' 'No Luna!' Luna started to feel shaky as she started to remember that dreadful night. He was supposed to come home. She was going to tell him. She would tell her soon-to-be husband about their baby. Luna stated to feel very, weak as she landed on a cloud. She was all alone now. Well, not really. She had a child to raise, all on her own, nopony to be her child's daddy. The citizens would treat her differently. They already did, she thought. After the funeral, the citizens of the night had stayed away from their princess. Luna felt their fear. They probably thought she was going to turn into Nightmare Moon or something. Luna looked down across the valley she was perched above. Maybe this whole pregnant thing wouldn't be so bad after all... -Crystal Palace, Crystal Empire- Cadence felt light headed and excited. When Shining got home he was in for a treat! Cadence had made sure that the chefs cooked the best dinner, the maids cleaned the entire palace and she herself decorated the dinning room with baby décor. Large, colourful banners hung on the walls and there were balloons and streamers everywhere. Cadence had the entire night planned out.  She would look into his eyes and he would look into hers. She would then tell him the beautiful news. Their baby was due in seven months. Of course, the large amount of decorations would probably give away her news before she got to the eye-gazing part. The rest of the night would still go as planned though.  They would plan what the nursery would look like, make lists of different names, and Cadence would plan the baby shower. So far, her invite list included her aunts, Twilight and all of Twilight's friends, and Shinning's mom. Cadence knew that she would have to invite Equestria's elite but she felt a little relief that Twilight would be their. Twilight was perfect, and Twilight could fix any problem, if one were to arise. Cadence sat down on her bed. She was so excited she started to contemplate flying over to the royal guard and requesting to speak to her hubby. Eventually deciding against rushing out of the palace and destroying her big plans, Cadence became very excited. She couldn't wait. Cadence was finally going to be a mom. Twilight's library, Ponyville Spike was out of town for two days. Twilight smirked as she watched his train leaving towards Canterlot. Time to have some fun. Flash Sentry was arriving in one hour and she had to make sure her home was as romantic as possible. Living with Spike was fine and all, but it left little room for romance. Today was the first time in two months that Spike was away over night. Twilight had tried very hard to get him out sooner, but that never worked. Of course, if Miss. Princess Twilight Sparkle were to hop on a train to the Crystal Empire, somepony would notice. Especially if she were to stay overnight. With a stallion. Alone. Tonight would be perfect. Him, her and her bed. Twilight couldn't wait! Tonight was going to be the best night ever! Of course, before anything happened, she would have to make sure that her friends didn't drop by. Any other night, Twilight hoped and encouraged her friends to visit and hang out, but tonight was different. There could be no interruptions. Only two ponies would be in the library tonight, though Twilight as she placed some bright red roses in a fancy vase. Little did Twilight know that it would not be just her and Flash in the library. She had no clue what lay inside her, nor who was the real cause of it. Celestia's Place, Canterlot Celestia knew she had done something terrible. Her sister, niece and apprentice could not know the crime she had committed. They were all pregnant. They all thought it was natural but, they were wrong. Celestia knew she should have told them but... she never could bring herself to let them know. Celestia never meant to hurt anypony but she had cursed all Equestrian royalty. Forever. Four months ago, Celestia had been studying curses and she was stupid. She broke her number one rule: don't ever say anything out loud that you don't know the meaning to. An ancient book had a curse that couldn't be translated. Celestia spoke the curse under her breath, without using magic, just to see if the out-loud pronunciation would help her crack the code.  She didn't think anything would happen without magic. Of course, as soon as she spoke the cursed tongue, a strange, blue-grey mist had appeared. The mist whispered her the translation of the curse. 'Do not fear you have no choice. From now until forever, every time starting now, all Equestrian royalty shall be pregnant, even with the use of the useless precautions!!' Celestia should have told them. Now, Equestria was doomed with a very large scandal. Three to be exact, and she Celestia had made those she love, sufferer. Luna couldn't raise her dead fiancée's child all on her own, Twilight was just a child, and Cadence. Well, Cadence could cope, thought Celestia. She had a husband who loved her and supported her. Luna and Twilight were the problems. The kingdom could potentially collapse. If the  citizens were to think that their rulers were sleeping around, there would most defiantly be protests. Celestia knew at this moment that she had to tell her fellow rulers. They had the right to know, even if the truth wasn't that glamorous. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2- The Meeting //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2- The Meeting Celestia looked around the castle's board room. The regal décor was in her opinion, very sophisticated but Luna had begged her to take it down hundreds of moons ago. Luna always said that it was tacky, but Celestia thought it looked quite smashing. Around the room there was colourful banners, six to be exact. There was a banner for each member of royalty; Luna, Cadence, Twilight, Shining Armour, the young Prince Blueblood and one for herself. All six members were to arrive in about thirty minuets. This was the first time in about two years that all six princes and princesses would be in the same room, and Celestia was rather disappointed that the reason was her fault. She really felt bad, especially because they would have to discuss a rather ticklish subject: babies. As Celestia started to feel upset again, Luna flew in through the large balcony at the back of the room. "Good morning sister," said Luna. Celestia noticed that Luna's normally calm tone seemed a bit forced. Luna was hiding something, and Celestia was almost sure she knew what. Luna's stomach was also a bit rounder than usual. As Celestia started to reply to Luna, Cadence and Shining Armour entered through the big double doors. "Hi Aunt Celestia! Hi Aunt Luna!" said Cadence in a very excited tone. "You'll never guess what great news we have!" said Shining in an extremely enthusiastic tone. Celestia glanced over at Luna who back away to her chair at the other side of the room. Neither of the alicorns were clueless, and Cadence looked very happy, for a newly wed. "Well," began Celestia, "I guess you'll have to tell us after the meeting." Cadence and Shining looked disappointed. Before anyone could continue the conversation, Twilight walked into the the large room. She looked terrible; her mane was a mess, her feathers were crooked and she had bags under her eyes. "Up late reading again sister-in-law?" giggled Cadence. "What? Oh...um sure?" said Twilight very unconvincingly. Celestia looked at all three alicorns. Luna and Cadence's stomachs looked bigger. Actually, thought Celestia so dose Twilight's. Great, the one pony she thought she could count on not to get knocked up... Blueblood gracefully entered the room, with only minuets to spare. He had changed a lot since Rarity showed him a piece of her mind. In fact, he was quite possibly one of the most courteous stallions Celestia knew. Celestia then announced the beginning of the emergency meeting. "Alight," she began once everyone was in their chairs. Luna at one end, Celestia herself at the other. Princesses on one side, Princes on the other. "I won't try and butter this up, because I can't ," Celestia felt tears in her eyes. Suddenly, Cadence interjected,"Please Auntie! We have some really big news!" Celestia almost decided not to tell them after looking at the excitement in Shining and Cadence's eyes. But then she looked around the table. Luna was tired and looked like she had been crying for months, Twilight looked as if she'd seen a ghost and Blueblood looked preoccupied and kept glancing out the window. "Your all pregnant." Celestia was surprised by her words as the hung in the now silent air. Cadence looked shocked, Twilight started to cry her head against the table, Luna looked expressionless as tears fell to the floor, and Blueblood looked as if his world was over. Cadence was the first one to speak,"Celestia! That was my news! How could you!" She started to sob. "MY NEWS!" Her words hit Celestia like knifes. But that was just the beginning. Luna looked up from her chair and glared at Cadence."Really? Your upset because you can't tell everyone your pregnant? Well guess what? I don't have a husband to hold my hoof so why don't you have your pity party somewhere else, because everyone else in this room has bigger problems to worry about!" yelled Luna. "Leave my wife alone, you monster!" yelled Shining as he sent a spell towards Luna. Just before it hit her, Twilight created a force field around Luna. The spell disintegrated into the magical barrier. Twilight glared at her brother,"Luna's right! You two have it perfect so shut up and f*uck off!" Celestia was annoyed. This was not the plan. Right now they were supposed to be yelling at her, not each other. "Enough!" her yell echoed in the now silent room. "You should all be ashamed, fighting amongst your selves like this! And Shining, one more spell out of you and your out, UNDERSTOOD?" They all looked at her, each of them slowly losing any anger that had previously resided in their hearts. Celestia then told them about the curse. It took only about five minuets, as Celestia spoke quickly with lots of tears trickling down her face. "Now," she said. "It is time to take action. We will start with Cadence and Shining Armour." Nobody said anything. Some felt upset, angry and some were even happy. But, despite how they felt, the royals stayed quiet. " First of all we must address the fact that you all broke one of the biggest rules for Equestrian royalty: no sex before marriage. I am very disappointed in all of you. I can't stress enough how aggravating this is." "But, what's done is done and we need to sort out some kind of solution, because this is one of those very serious rules that can ban you from the kingdom." "Cadence you and Shining Armour are safe and you are both free to go. I respect you if you never want to speak to me again." said Celestia, looking Cadence in the eye. "Thank you." said Cadence. Shining was crying, a smile on his face. Cadence continued,"We couldn't have a foal so this... this fixed everything. Thank you." The happy couple exited the room, the large doors slamming behind them. Celestia looked across the table at Luna."Luna, I'm assuming the baby is with him?" she asked. Luna looked at the floor and nodded. "I might be able to add a decree for an exception for engaged ponies, but until then I need you to stay away from the public. Understood?" Luna looked up at her sister. She thought for sure she would be on the moon again at this point. She left her chair and flew over to her sister, embracing her in a hug. "Thank you sister, thank you." Luna spoke as she cried onto Celestia's multi-coloured mane. "You are dismissed Luna, stay the night if you want to." said Celestia. "I will sister." said Luna as she gently closed the door behind her. Celestia turned to Blueblood. "Well, what about you? Which mare is it?" Blueblood started to cry. "There was two of them!" Oh no. Thought Celestia. No, no, no! "Who are they Blueblood?" she asked, slightly nervous. "Fleur de lis and..." he paused looking over at Twilight. She was going to be very angry. "And?" Celestia said now very nervous. "Rarity." he said in a whisper. Celestia was very upset. Her distant nephew would have to be banished, no doubt about it. There was no way she could organise two weddings for one stallion. There was also no way that Rarity could be banished, she was a very important pony being a former element of harmony bearer. Fleur could be banished but, that didn't feel right. It wasn't fair and Blueblood was in trouble. He seemed to know that. "They both know and they both know about each other." he said after the short silence. Twilight sat feeling very upset. Why hadn't Rarity told her? Dose their friendship not matter? Celestia then spoke"Blueblood, I will have them sent for and we can discuss your fate. For now, you are dismissed." Twilight was the last pony left in the room. Celestia looked at her star pupil. Twilight had tears in her eyes. "I'm gonna get banished aren't I?" she asked tears falling from her face. Celestia wanted to hug Twilight and tell her everything would be ok, but she stayed in her seat. "No Twilight, you are far too important to banish, and I don't know what I would do with out you." Twilight then spoke in a quiet whisper. "Thank you. The father is... Flash Sentry ." Celestia nodded. Thank goodness it was a high ranked guard. Then, at least the romance would be socially acceptable. Celestia looked at Twilight,"Twilight, I would like you to stay in Canterlot until things have been sorted out. I will tell Rarity to bring your things over. Understood?" Twilight smiled. "Thank you." As Twilight exited the room, Celestia was lost in her thoughts again. Luna she would save by creating the new decree (dated a month ago), Twilight could be married, Rarity and Fleur would just say nothing about the father, Blueblood, however would have to leave. Celestia felt a sicking feeling in the pit of her stomach. It really did suck being the decision maker of Equestria. No matter how hard she tried somepony was always going to get hurt. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3- Twilight, Rarity and Flash //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3- Twilight, Rarity and Flash Twilight levitated her bag onto her bed and dumped the contents across the tasteful bedspread. As the spell books tumbled across the bed, Twilight grabbed an old, falling apart book. This book in particular would get her out of this mess. This book would make Celestia treat her like a fake. This book would help her hide her pregnancy.Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Dammit, thought Twilight as she quickly hid the book under her pillow. "Come in!" she said in a falsely cheery voice. Flash Sentry opened the door gingerly. "Um, hi." said Flash as he looked at his hooves. "Flash. Flash, Flash, Flash." Twilight said. "Have no worries Flash, I have a plan. Come in, sit down and let me talk." Flash Sentry sat on the edge of the bed. "Comfy? Ok, here's the plan: I will use magic to hide the pregnancy, we will pretend we don't know each other for the next little while. Then, when the child is born, I will send it to you and you can explain to your buddies that your ex-girlfriend was in the hospital on her death bed, and sent the newborn child to you. Ok?" Flash was not ok. In fact, he was quiet mad. "Twi, why don't we just get married! Everything would be much easier." Twilight started to loose composure. "Because Flash, I don't. I don't. I can't!" She started to cry. Flash walked over to embrace her, but she pulled away. "Twi, I'm here for you and our child. Twilight, I love you." he said, but she turned away from him. "Flash I love you too but, I never wanted to get married. Not to you or anyone. Not now not ever. So please, just look after our foal and pretend you never met me." Flash looked at the mare he was going to propose to. Had you asked him a week ago why he was carrying around a big, fancy ring, he would have said it was for the mare of his dreams. Now, if you were to ask him the same question he would simply say he has no idea. Twilight had curled up in the centre of the castle's bed. Flash couldn't help but think about what they would be doing on that bed had the circumstances been different. But now, all he felt was lost. "Twilight, I'm a guard. I don't have enough money or time to raise a child by my self." Twilight looked at him, with sadness in her eyes. "Oh well Flash. Deal with it! I'll be locked up if they find out!" "Not if we get married!" he said getting rather angrily. "I said NO! NOW LEAVE AND DON'T COME BACK!" Twilight pointed to the door. "Fine, but if you don't care about me then think about our foal!" Twilight glared at him."Your foal, Flash. Your foal." And with that he left the room, closing the door behind him. Once, the door was shut, he started to walk back to his room, only to find a silver-grey unicorn starring at him. She had tears in her eyes and looked at him with pity. "There there darling, everything will be ok. My name is Rarity and I like you have the exact same problem. See, I really didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I came to deliver Twilight's luggage and well...you know. Anyway I am truly sorry." she looked at him and gave him a small smile. Flash looked at the sparkling mare in disbelief "Did you say, same problem?!" Rarity looked a bit sheepish as she began her story "A little while ago, Prince Blueblood came to my shop to formally apologise about the gala. I offered him some wine and well... one thing led to another and yeah. Anyway, despite... that night... we were still friends and wrote letters. So I started to notice stuff, that goes along with pregnancy and I told Blueblood. He was very good about it and he would have arranged a marriage but, his ex-girlfriend Fleur had a similar problem." "And now," continued the weakened unicorn. "Celestia has banished him forever and I shall never see or hear from him again." Flash looked at the pretty mare. Rarity looked up at him and smiled. "Twilight's smart. I'm sure she'll come around." At that moment Twilight exited from her chamber bags, packed. "Flash, Rarity. You are both dead to me and once this child is out of me, I will have no contact with it. You have both been warned. If either of you are to talk to me, I shall send for royal guards, understood?" "Twilight dear, be reasonable-" began Rarity. "No Rarity, I told you all about Flash but you didn't even tell me that your pregnant! PREGNANT!" "Twi, I'm sorry please  listen-" Flash said, only to be cut off immediately. "Flash, I'm sorry but I really only wanted to have um... fun with you. Sorry it had to end this way." said Twilight her words hitting Flash like ice. With that, Twilight turned around bags following her in a magic aura, leaving Rarity and Flash alone once again. Rarity's face was covered in tears. Flash couldn't believe what Twilight had said. All those times when she had said she loved him...it had all been a lie. He then looked down at Rarity, who was now sitting on the floor, a puddle of tears slowly forming in front of her. "It's ok. Shhhh." said Flash as he cradled the mare. "Nooooo...itssss....nooottt!" she cried hysterically. "What am I going to do? What do I tell my family? How do I raise a child ON MY OWN!" Rarity sobbed. Whatever Twilight had said must have triggered something in Rarity. Perhaps it was when she yelled at the already emotionally frail unicorn. Rarity continued in a whisper "It's not like I can just find another stallion and make him marry me. I mean, how would marry me? Knocked up me." Flash had an idea. It was crazy but, it could work. "Rarity, I know we just met and all but...this is going to sound crazy but...we could you know... get married?" Rarity stopped crying. "But I don't even know you, how could I just marry a stranger?" Flash felt a sinking feeling "I don't know but, we could work together and maybe we could have a happy family." Rarity couldn't believe this. Ever since she was a little filly, she always thought a handsome prince would propose to her in somewhere beautiful, and her mane would be just right as would her make-up... But, fantasies are not reality. In fact, the only thing similar to her dream was that the stallion was handsome. Rarity took some time to think. At last, she came a conclusion. "Yes. I will marry you, Flash Century." What else could go wrong? Her life was already pretty messed up as is. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Nightmares //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Nightmares Celestia looked at her younger sister with joy on her face. The executive board of Equestria approved the law change. Luna can stay. No more banishment. No more centuries apart. The sisters remained together one day more. Luna knew the answer to her question just by her sister's expression. The princesses ran to each other like children, jumping up and down in excitement. Then, Luna started to cry. It was a mix of both happy and sad tears. Because Luna started to cry, Celestia felt the need to let out her emotions as well. So, when Flash Sentry and Rarity walked in, with very serious expressions on their faces, they were met with two blubbering princesses. It was quite the spectacle to see, as Luna and Celestia seldom let their emotions shine through. Rarity, being Rarity, immediately jumped to conclusions. "Your highnesses, I am truly sorry." she said bowing. The royals looked at Rarity, and started to laugh. Then they were laughing so hard, Celestia fell onto the floor. Luna had to steady herself on Celestia's arched back. "Rarity," began Luna through laughs, "It's OK! I'M STAYING!" she shouted loudly. Rarity looked at the rulers of Equestria and decided that they had lost their minds. Whatever, she thought. There were more pressing matters. "Your highnesses, we um...well...I" said Rarity as she slowly lost composure. "What Rarity um..." started Flash, feeling sick. He felt like someone was watching him. This was not good. Flash had a sense, that allowed him to sense a presence. Hence, the guarding cuite mark. He looked around, aware that all eyes were on him. The princesses laughs had stopped. Flash moved towards the door. He noticed it was open, just about five centimetres. As he reached out to open the door handle, Twilight came into the room. She didn't look quite sane. "They want to get married." she said, her voice more high-pitched than usual. Celestia and Luna were very confused. This made no sense. As the princesses were distracted trying to figure out what was going on, Twilight started to conjure a dark-magic spell. Flash was the only one who noticed this, and due to a lack of horn, could do nothing about it except yell. Because of Twilight's talent with magic, she was very quick in completing her spell. So, as Flash started to yell a warning at the princesses and Rarity, Twilight had already shot the spell. The mass of dark magic was hurdling towards Rarity, who had just looked up from the ground, which she had been staring at so intensely. Rarity started to scream. *** It was dark all around her and there was no light. She couldn't tell if the spell had even started to affect her, or if she had even left the palace. A voice started to whisper familiar words and phrases to her. "NO!" she screamed. "NO!!!!" *** Luna, Celestia and Flash looked around the palace meeting room. Rarity was gone. "RARITY!" yelled Flash, anger bubbling inside him. "Where is she Twilight!" Luna suddenly collapsed, as though she was in pain. "Luna!?"said Celestia, who was sitting at her sister's side. "Twilight!" yelled Luna. "Twilight...Sparkle!" Luna yelled though her groans and whines. Before anyone noticed, Twilight sent another dark spell, this time at Luna. As it hit her, Luna screamed. "Not again! Twilight, I will get you for this!" Luna was gone. Twilight giggled a creepy, slightly deranged giggle. " They're gone now, but don't you worry, they'll be back." And with that, Twilight disappeared in a puff of black smoke. Flash Century looked at Princess Celestia. She was sitting, where Luna had been lying only a moment ago. Celestia's face was streaked with tears, and she was muttering sentences under her shaky breath. Flash was now very, very scared. "Your highness?" he asked feeling rather sick. "It's all my fault!" she wailed. "There never coming back!" "But...Twilight said-" began Flash. "No. Twilight lied. They'll come back. Just as a different being all together!" "Flash?" she said, this time in a very serious tone. "Do you remember Nightmare Moon? Or what about Nightmare Rarity?" said Celestia as she wiped away her tears. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: Mamma mia! Here we go again! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: Mamma mia! Here we go again! The air was heavy and damp. The darkness was everywhere, no light was to be seen. Whispers were whispering in the shadows that surrounded her. Luna knew and remembered where she was. She started to panic. She had to get out. She could barely make out what the voices were saying, but certain fragments made sense. "But... the baby?" said one. "Two, two babies..." said another. "Two hosts..." said a third. Luna was scared. This was the very place that she became the monster, Nightmare Moon. Luna would have been terrified to come here any old day, but she felt queasy when she herd them talking about her child like that. With tears streaming down her face, Luna said in a strong voice,"Leave my baby alone, you can take me, just...leave my child alone." They started to laugh. All of them. Then Luna heard a scream. It sounded familiar. A white unicorn came bursting out of the shadows, her face soaked in mascara-stained tears. It was Rarity. A few seconds earlier... Rarity knew this place. How could she forget? Becoming a monster was a very hard thing to forget after all. She had remained clam, cool and collected. Then she heard the creatures starting to whisper. Well, Rarity was assuming they were creatures. It could be anything for all she knew. The voices were debating over her fate, and she was not liking what she was hearing. Something about her baby...or was it about her? Rarity was sitting, straining to her what the voices were saying when something hit her. It was very powerful, and came at her stomach in a cloud of purple, sparkly smoke. Rarity screamed, loud, blood-curdling scream as she felt, for a brief second, the most painful kind of pain known to pony kind. As soon as the pain ended, Rarity got up and ran as fast as she could into the strange, dark fog that surrounded her. She didn't know where she was going but, Rarity figured anything but here would be better. Any where away from those creepy voices would be better, thought Rarity, still screaming at the top of her lungs. Luna stared at Rarity in shock. Before Luna had time to comprehend why Rarity was in the Dreamscape, she was hit with a powerful, sparkly blue object. Luna was taken off her feet and thrown to the ground due to the forceful blue sphere. Luna was gasping for breath. What the hell was that? she thought. The force was similar to that of which had turned her into Nightmare Moon, but it was defiantly not the same. There was something different about this new power, something softer. Whatever it was, it was making Luna's gut ache in an extremely powerful way. "Now," hissed a voice,"We must bring our vessels to the King!" Shit. Rarity and I are most certainly the vessels, thought Luna. She glanced over at Rarity who was now sitting, staring at the ground with tears trickling down her pearly white coat. Luna then looked over her shoulder and immediately regretted it. Behind her stood a shadowy figure dressed in a tattered black cloak. Luna was shaking with fear. "Why bother bringing them to me if I'm already here." said a voice so cold yet so sly. It sent a shiver up Luna's back. "Ah, Luna! Long time no see! Oh stop your shaking its not that cold here!" he said with false enthusiasm as he walked around her, as though he was checking out a wagon for a scratch before purchase. "Your in good health I see, good, good." he said moving on to Rarity. "Oh stop your crying!" he said forcefully as he glared at Rarity. "Or else, we may have to let them have you," he said motioning to the fog that was circling around the three of them. "Now it is time to go where no one will find you!" he said in a voice that suggested his hidden face was smirking. No. This can't happen. Luna gathered all the strength she possessed, her horn started to glow a familiar blue as she started to get up off the ground. "Don't try and pull any funny business on me Luna, I know all the tricks in the book." he said with the same tone. Rarity, who was at her overall worst, looked up at Luna. Luna's face showed dedication, will and persistence. Rarity stopped crying and whimpering. This was defiantly not the time to loose her head. She stood up, and fought threw the pain and calmly walked in front of Luna. The alicorn stopped charging up her spell. What was Rarity thinking? The King, who had his back turned, readying himself for Luna's attack, looked over his shoulder as he saw the two prisoners escaping, via teleportation. This was not expected. The Princess of the Night never just ran away! She always went down with a battle! Well, he thought, they are not getting away with out a scrape! He threw a powerful dark spell at the teleporting vessels. Now they'll have no way of getting any help, he thought smugly. Let them run, but they can't hide. Moments later... Celestia and Flash Sentry had been attempting to teleport to Rarity and Luna for the past hour but nothing seemed to work. Celestia felt the guilt from failure sink in her heart. She had failed her promise. Twice. Oh Luna, she thought. "Luna!" she screamed. Flash, whose muzzle was in a book about dark magic, looked up at the distressed ruler. As he got up to comfort her for the billionth time, a puff of smoke appeared in the center of the room. Celestia stood up, as her eyes took in the sight before her. The lifless bodies of Luna and Rarity lay on the grand table that they had all sat around, just a short time ago. "Luna?" asked Celestia in a small voice, like her world had been crushed, put back together and then shattered. "Lulu?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Part 2: Awake and Alive //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Part 2: Awake and Alive "Lets move them to the hospital." "No this is something too...dangerous and...different for a doctor." "What should we do then?" "We will take them to their rooms and I would normally call in Twilight but well..." "So you don't know what to do?" "I haven't the foggiest." "Then how do we save them?" "We don't." "But-" "No. All we can do is wait." "If your sure." "I am." About four months later... Pain. More pain. Luna was always in pain, be it mentally or physically. This pain had to be the worst. It felt as though something was trying to get out, something powerful. "ARGH!" Luna screamed. Sweet Celestia this was pain at it's highest! Speaking of Celestia, thought Luna as her sister rushed into the room with various doctors and nurses. "Its time, she is going into labour!" yelled a rather dramatic nurse. Labour?, thought Luna. That's not right, I still have months to go...wait! How did I get to my room? I was fighting- oh. I see. The spell must have done something... "Luna! Thank goodness your awake! They said you would come around but I-I wasn't sure I thought I lost you!" said Celestia as she embraced her sister in a tight hug. "Alright she's about 8cm dilated, it's almost time!" said a nurse as the medical crew made Luna's room ready for the birth. "Celestia! What dose she mean?" This can not be happening. Months... I STILL HAVE MONTHS! "Luna...well you see..." "ARGH!" screamed Luna, once again feeling the pain of child birth. "It's go time!" yelled the unnecessarily dramatic nurse. About ten hours later... Celestia knew something was going to happen when Luna awoke but to be honest she did not expect her younger sister to wake up and immediately give birth. To twins. Yes, twins. The first child was a stunning bat pony-alicorn mix. She had a deep indigo coat with a sparkly sky-blue mane. Her eyes were a brilliant blue and she had adorable little fangs. At one point, she stretched her tiny bat wings and attempted to fly. Celestia thought this was quite odd as little fillies usually didn't start flying till they were about a week and a half. Then again, this was Luna's daughter. The second,  however was rather terrifying. She shared her mother's starry mane but she had a coat as dark as the night and her eyes were not like a regular foal's eyes. These eyes were the likeness of Nightmare Moon. They had to be...nothing else had eyes like that right? The minuet Celestia realized that the demon was back was the second she did something she would forever regret. She killed the baby, right in front of Luna's horrified face. Well, she thought she did. The truth was very unsettling, and quite horrific. //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 2, Chapter 1: Once upon a dream //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 2, Chapter 1: Once upon a dream Lumos watched the sun rise with fear and admiration. The beauty of the glowing, hot, amber orb was just as equal to the cold, ivory moon, the difference, however was who controlled them.On one hoof, you have a fierce, violent ruler would would stop at nothing to get her way, on the other, a young, clumsy mare who barley knew her left hoof from her right. It was easy to decide who should run Equestria. Nopony in their right mind would chose Lumos. She was under-experienced and though her night sky was just as elegant as her mother's, she was still a filly in the Queen's eyes. This however, was not true. Lumos Solem had just turned 1999, about ten minuets ago. She looked just as old as Princess Twilight, and was rather grown-up in her opinion. Her mane was straight and starry, her coat pastel and proper and her wings were the most impressive bat-pony wings she had ever seen. Graceful and stylish, they were the most delicate of her race. In fact, most young fillies tried to use products to obtain such poise. Lumos' eyes told a different story. Pretty and blue, like the ocean itself, her eyes were defiantly attractive. You didn't need to look hard to see the red tinge around her iris, for nights of depression . The sleeping-bags under her eyes were also quite noticeable, but the tears that were trickling slowly down her cheek were currently the most evident feature on her pale blue face. "There you are," said a cold voice. "For a moment, I thought you had...left the grounds." Lumos glanced over her shoulder. Sure enough, there sat the Queen of Equestria. "What do you want?" asked Lumos, her despair turning into hatred as quickly as a flick of a switch. "You know I said, 'No staying out all night', Lumos. Surely you realise that this means...punishment? And since this is your second night in a row...I think you'll find this chastisement a bit more...meaningful then usual," replied the Queen, a fire danced dangerously in her eyes. "You would think after almost 2000 years you would learn your lesson, tisk, tisk. What would your mummy say?" That was it. The Queen had gone too far. "Shut. Up." whispered Lumos, her anger growing from her anguish. "What was that dear, I didn't catch that. Your awfully quite for such a...delinquent." "I said; SHUT UP!" screamed Lumos as she flipped herself to face the Queen, ready to fight. "Oh Lumos, when will you learn you silly little...filly. I am, and will always be better then you. I will always be in control of this kingdom like a teacher in a class, a doctor in a hospital or...parents in a family. Oh wait...you wouldn't get that analogy would you?" The Queen started to laugh, except her laugh was more like a cackle. Lumos reared as her horn began to cast a powerful spell when suddenly, the world went black and she suddenly felt very drowsy and weak. ***** They were always arguing. And by 'They', Darcy meant everyone. The maids, the cook, the butlers, the nurses, the guards, her sister, her best friends, her mum, the Queen. The Queen was really the root of all argument. The Queen was the reason she only saw her mother and sister once a week. The Queen was the reason why her father was dead. The Queen was the reason why she was locked up in her bedchamber all the time. The Queen was the reason war raged across the land. The Queen was the problem, but no one was strong enough to take her out and those who were suddenly found themselves without any memory at all. Or, in her sister's case threatened, beaten and destroyed both mentally and physically. No one can win. Not in this game. Darcy was tired. She often tries not to sleep, in fear that the Queen will attempt to kill her another way and somehow, succeed. Darcy wanted to watch those cold hateful eyes as she breathed her last breath. For almost 2000 years, the Queen has tried to kill her. At first, it was terrifying as a young child, knowing that someone wanted her dead. The novelty, however, wore off after the first 500 years. So many times she had escaped death and so many times Darcy had heard her mother's screams in fear of losing her. The first time the Queen had tried to kill her, she was less then five minuets old. That was back at the old Canterlot castle, before the war was even a thought. That was before the Queen became a power hungry tyrant. That was when Equestria had been a happy, peaceful nation. Darcy couldn't remember a place that was welcoming and joyful. The very idea of 'happiness' was distant and unclear. She supposed happiness was her mum combing her deep, blue mane, telling her everything will be ok, her sister and their friends playing a tag game, her favourite maid giving her an extra cookie after dinner. All of these examples had happened years ago, before the Queen was who she was. This was before Darcy knew the truth. This was when she still  a child. But, as everyone knows, nothing gold can stay. //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 2: Chapter 2: Goodbyeeee and it stars to snow in the streets of mexicoooo //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 2: Chapter 2: Goodbyeeee and it stars to snow in the streets of mexicoooo Saying goodbye is always hard, for some ponies it's just as hard as saying 'hello'. For Serenity, 'goodbyes' happen more then 'hellos', simply because their are more ponies whom she knew dying then there are being born. Today was an especially hard day. Today was the day her youngest sister was buried in the deep, cool earth. Today was the day her family became her and a good-for-nothing-step-sister. She is just a filly and her mum, dad, twin and now little sister have lived full long lives. Princess Luna holds her close. Lumos and Darcy sit on Luna's other side tears falling down their cheeks. Daybreak is sobbing in Celestia's arms. Serenity was not crying. Serenity would not cry. Crying was for the weak. Serenity was not weak. Who cares if  all of her biological family became senior citizens before she even got her cutie mark? Who cares if no pony remembered her in the long run? All her life had been her parents caring for her from afar as needles and wires were poked into her dark skin. This was her forth and potentially last time going outside. Correction: hopefully last time. Who knows how many more times she could take before the tears came back? ******* Tick, tock, tick, tock goes the clock. Yes, no, yes, no goes mummy and auntie. "We need more love and friendship surely you understand that, Princess?" "No, we need force might, of course this makes sense to you?" "Equestria will fall if we chose that route, take my word for it!" "What about the...mutants?" I for one wouldn't want them around my dear Carissime, and I doubt any pony else would want them dubbed 'princess'. Its just not right, you know who they look like..." Uh-oh, I heard my name again, thought Carissime. It had been coming up in conversation a lot recently, particularity when mummy was arguing with auntie. Mummy shouldn't argue with auntie. Mummy is weak compared to auntie. Auntie has Princess Luna and Twilight on her side. Mummy has no pony. Poor, poor mummy. She used to have daddy, but he disappeared along, long time ago. Silly, silly mummy... ******* Dear dairy, Apparently, I look alot like my uncle. Though I can't verify that because I never met him. I think he might be dead... Anyway, I have a long, dark blue mane that seems to defy gravity, like my dad's. It has light blue and bright pink streaks randomly placed through it and I can never make it lie flat. My eyes are blue like my dad's and my body is lavender like my mum's. All in all, I think I look pretty hot. Oops I guess that sounds arrogant. Mum says that's on list of things that a princess shouldn't do. What I meant to say was that I am much more attractive than the average pony. Still arrogant. Oh well, I give up. Just another thing for mum to bug me about. Urgh, she's so annoying. I don't know how she landed a stallion like dad, guess I should have asked him that when he was alive. I miss living with him and Rarity. They were the best. So were the sisters. In total at one point there was four of us, now there's just  three; Serenity and Bluebelle (Rarity's twins), Swift Charm (Rarity and Flash's baby) and me. What sucked about being me was that every weekend I had to stay with mum. I hate living with her. 'Daybreak go study' or 'Daybreak read this' and 'Daybreak stop doing that its not proper'. I get that last one a lot. I wish Bluebelle was the princess. She would have been a great princess. I miss her. She should have been an alicorn too. Mum said that a ponies' name is linked to their cutie mark and destiny. I don't have a cutie mark, so I guess in order to get one I have to uh...break the day? What dose that even mean? Do I just break auntie Celestia's bone or something? I wish this was clearer because almost all of my alicorn siblings and cousins have their cutie marks. I think I'm the family embarrassment. I heard that every family has one, and I'm pretty embarrassing. Lumos is pretty clumsy, but she's really smart and pretty so it couldn't be her. Darcy and Serenity could be embarrassing because of their- (Blood marks the pages of the diary. There are no more entries after this.)
