Gohan's vision was fuzzy. All he could see were outlines of trees. He groaned in pain as his senses started returning to him. He couldn't remember anything at the moment. Gohan then shot up quickly onto his feet as he started to recall the memories of his battle with the androids.
He started taking in his surroundings. He was in some sort of forest. That's weird, I don't recall being anywhere near a forest during the battle. He then remembered his last moments where the androids were blasting him without any mercy. He shuddered at the thought then brought up his only arm and looked at his hand. How is this even happening, I should be dead. Shouldn't I be in the Other-world? He remembered when his father had told everyone about meeting King Yemma and King Kai.
He then heard rustling coming from his right. He turned quickly and got into a defensive position. When nothing came out he relaxed. I've already been in enough trouble. Now to find the androids. He flew a couple feet above the trees and nearly fell back down reminding him of his state. He was still exhausted and felt fatigue and the wounds on him weren't helping. He also realize it was dark and the full moon was out. Man, mom is not going to happy about this. He shuddered once more as he recalled the frying pan of hers and her arm.
He spread his senses out and started searching for any familiar Ki signatures. To his surprise he couldn't find anything familiar, he couldn't even pick up Trunks Ki. Now he was starting to worry. The androids couldn't have killed everybody, have they? He was praying to Kami that wasn't the case.
He continued sensing for any life, until he picked up on seven. Six of which were good energy signatures and other had dark intentions. His blood boiled as this energy was almost just as bad as Frieza's. He then turned to the direction of the energy signatures and a white aura surrounded him. He wasn't about to allow anymore lives to be taken. Not on his watch. Besides the power level was not very big. He then rocketed towards his destination.
When he arrived he was awestruck. Below him was a castle. It was huge, probably bigger than his grandfather's castle. He remembered the pictures of his grandfathers castle before it was blown up. He shook his head and shoved that though out of his head. He then picked up the evil signature in one of the rooms alone with another signature.
He got by and window and hid behind one of the outside windows of the right side. He looked and saw something that almost made his jaw drop.
Ponies.
Gohan blinked, stunned at what he was seeing; Namekian slug men? Sure. God like beings? No problem. But pony mares was where he had to draw the line. Moving closer to the mirror, he peered around the room. A small purple one with a horn was talking to a large, extremely dark blue horse with wings and a horn. While the purple one wore nothing (or at least nothing that he could see) he noticed that around her were small stone orbs. The taller one however, she wore clothes. On her head was a large blue helmet, underneath which some sort of nebula was flowing in a non-existent breeze; upon her chest, the taller mare had a chest piece with a crescent moon on it.
Stretching out his senses Gohan tried to scan for Ki. Almost immediately is senses were flooded with Ki from the tall mare; whoever she was, she was powerful, and a dark taste to her Ki told Gohan that whoever she was, she was cruel and vicious. Not unlike Freiza. The small purple mare had power, though not as much as the bigger one, and Gohan could even feel a small Ki presence in the stone orbs themselves.
He noticed Twilight. She was a lavender color with two different streaks of purple in her mane. Kinda reminded him of Trunks in a way. One thing he noticed though was that they had a tattoo on their flanks.
He heard Nightmare Moon saying, "No! NO!" while the other one grinned. His attention went onto the stone orbs laying on the ground that were radiating some power before stopping.
Twilight gasped, "But, where's the sixth element?" she asked in panic. Nightmare Moon started laughing before bring her hoofs up and stomping the ground resulting in these "elements" to break into pieces right Twilight's eyes. Now he could definitely tell they were female, from the way they sounded.
Nightmare Moon laughing stopped and spoke" You little foal, thinking you could defeat me?! Now you will never your princess or your sun. The night will last, FOREVER! Ha ha ha ha," she laughed triumphantly and a dark cloud formed above. She then aimed her magic at Twilight," and now you shall never live to see another day," the lavender pony watched in horror as her horn started to glow.
Right before she could fire her magic one of the windows smashed to pieces and a strange looking creature kicked her in the face sending her to the wall. He quickly went over to Twilight (unknown to her) while the Alicorn got up dazed. Twilight was shocked of what had just transpired. "Hey, I need you to do me a favor, get you and your friends for there out of here." The strange beings question snapped her back to reality. He was on one knee looking at her with a serious look.
"W-what?," she said barley paying attention to what Gohan was saying. The being just sighed and looked at the staircase where he felt five other energy signatures coming there direction.
"Twilight where are you?" Twilight then turned around saw her friends coming up the stairs.
"Look, I just want you and your friends over there to get out of here so you don't get caught in the crossfire," The bipedal creature said as he looked over his shoulder and saw the other five energy signatures he picked up. They all had their own unique characteristic. He thought to himself that this looked a little cartoonish. He turned back around facing Nightmare moon.
The moment he said that Twilight's eye's widened and there was a spark.
The said ponies saw twilight and ran by her side, right before than seeing a strange creature in a orange gi and a blue undershirt. They also saw he face in which he had a scar that ran down its face. The cream colored pony gasped when she saw some blood and scratches on the creature and took noticed that it was missing its left arm. Before any of the ponies had time to say anything the alicorn came up from and used her magic to get off some of the debris.
She glared at the creature before her, "How dare you attack Nightmare Moon! Do you know who you are dealing with?!" She asked with hatred in her voice.
He just stared her for a second before replying, "Do you know who you're dealing with?" he replied calmly while giving a glare of his own.
Nightmare Moon just glared at him," You arrogant insect, I am the most powerful being in Equestria!"
The bipedal creature replied,"You're not the first to claim to be most powerful being ever. I fought a tyrant more powerful than you. I've spend most of my life training." He stated angrily as he clenched his fist.
Nightmare Moon continued to glare at him," Just who do you think you are?!" He said with hate her voice.
The creature took a breath and said,"My name is Son Gohan, the saiyan who is going to defeat you!" He stated confidently and brought right arm up as purple electricity started dancing around him.
Saiyan? Twilight had never heard of this term before. She had read about many different kinds of creatures, but she had never heard of these saiyans. She looks backs to her friends,"Have any of you heard of saiyan?" They all shook their heads. She turned her attention over to the cream colored pony,"Fluttershy, do know any animal that looks like him?"
Fluttershy looked at Gohan for a few seconds before returning her attention back to Twilight. "Well, he kinda looks like a hairless monkey. Other than that Twilight there's no other animal that he looks like," she said in a quiet voice. Fluttershy was scared of this new creature. It was so big and intimidating, yet at the same time she felt worried seeing it in its current condition.
Gohan wasn't paying attention to their conservation as he was focusing on the task at hand. Gohan and Nightmare Moon were glaring at each other. Neither one of them backing down. Finally Nightmare started laughing, this only made Gohan angrier.
"What's so funny?!" He asked in an angered tone with a hint of annoyance.
Nightmare then calmed herself and looked at the saiyan hybrid. "Isn't it obvious. Just look at yourself, you looked like you were just mauled by a pack of timberwolfs. Do you really plan on defeating me in your condition?" She asked with a smug look on her face.
"Even in this condition you shouldn't underestimate your opponent", Gohan said in a sternly. Gohan then got into a fighting stance preparing himself for battle.
"Now hold on there sugarcube!" Gohan turned his head to see a orange earth pony with a cowboy hat stepping up. She saw him take notice of her and took that as her cue to continue. "Now I appreciate what you're trying to do, but she is right, you can't go around picking for a fight in your state. You don't exactly look like you're in the mightiest condition," she said in a western accent.
"And your clothes are simply in awful condition as well," added the other unicorn in the group. She ended up getting a look of disbelief from the ponies and people around her. "What?" She asked.
Gohan shook his and growled in annoyance. Why couldn't they understand they had to stay out of this. "Look, like it or not I'm going to fight her and I said before you guys need to get out of here!" He said as his anger began to build.
Nightmare was getting tired of this,"ENOUGH FOOLISHNESS! IF YOU WISH TO FIGHT ME, NOW'S YOU CHANCE!" She yelled using a much louder voice that rivaled that of a saiyans.
Gohan turned back to Nightmare Moon. "You're right lets settle this!" He yelled. Then he started to build his energy and a white aura burst into existence around him. He continued to build up his power but stopped as soon as his breathing was starting to become heavier. Alright, better finish this quickly. he thought.

The ponies jaws dropped when they saw this. Fluttershy let out a loud "Eep," before hiding behind the rest of the ponies. Nightmare Moon was even shocked at this new phenomenon. She had lived for thousands of years and she has never seen anything like this.
Gohan saw his chance to attack. He stuck his palm out and yelled,"HAAAA!" A bright yellow ball of energy shot out of his palm towards her.
Nightmare Moon snapped out of her shock. She barley had enough time to dodge as she flew up. Once the Ki blast had passed she looked at the person that had shot it only to met with a fist in her face.
Gohan then began to unleash a barrage of punches to her. This only lasted for a few seconds before nightmare grasped his fist with her magic. She gave him an angered look before pointing her horn at his chest. Gohan was very much confused as to why his fist had suddenly stopped. He then took notice that the aura that surrounded his hand was the same as the one around her horn. Then felt something hit his chest and caused him to fall towards the ground. The ponies had to move out of the way as he landed and skidded across the floor.
"How in the name of Celestia was he able to fly without wings!?" asked the cyan pony. She looked at Twilight who was just gaping at Gohan.
Gohan bared his teeth from the massive amount of pain in his chest. He slowly started to get to his feet. Alright, note to self avoid the horn. He then noticed Nightmare Moon above him. She aimed her horn towards the ceiling and released a dark beam which resulted in large pieces of the roof to start coming down.
Gohan jumped up and started flying up while avoiding the pieces of the roof. Once he was above Nightmare Moon he flying towards her while he started front-flipping to build momentum.
All Nightmare saw was a blur going straight up and looked in the direction it had gone in only to be met with Gohan's heel slamming down on her snout. She started falling and slammed onto the floor while pieces of the roof started to pile up on her.
Gohan appeared overhead,"Masenko," he started saying as he put his hand in front of his forehead. The ponies below saw bright yellow energy forming in front of his hand. "HAAAAA!!" He yelled as put his hand below him and a yellow beam of energy started heading towards Nightmare Moon. There was a bright explosion as the beam made contact.
This lasted for a few seconds before everything started to settle. Dust was everywhere, and where Nightmare Moon once laid was a large hole that led to the first floor.
Gohans breathing was heavy, he felt almost completely drained of energy and that he could pass out any second. He began to lower himself towards the hole and started searching for Nightmare Moons Ki signature.
Fluttershy looked around from behind the group and looked around the room, "I-is it o-over?" She asked in a shaky voice. The other ponies looked at where Gohan was.
"I think it's over." Twilight said as she felt a sense of relief.
Gohan on the other hand was uncertain.I don't think it's over just yet. he thought to himself. While he continued to look for her energy or her dead body a dark cloud started to form above him.
Above him was Nightmare Moon and she was mad. She began to charge her horn and released some powerful magic. Gohan didn't have a chance as he was taken by surprise. He landed on the floor below and he looked like he wasn't about to come back from that one anytime soon.
The ponies couldn't believe what they were seeing. Nightmare Moon should have been finished. Yet Nightmare Moon just came out of nowhere. How did she dodge that? Though she still didn't look good as she was starting wear out from the exhaustion and damage she has received during the battle. No pony had ever managed to do this kind of damage to her before, not even her sister.
Blood stained her coat as she was barley able to dodge at the last second of that attack. Nightmare Moon didn't have an amused expression on her face as she looked down at the saiyan. Her horn glowed once again and the brought some of the columns that were no longer supporting anything and pieces of the roof started to close in on Gohan.
Gohan managed to get onto his feet and turned around and saw all of the stone over him was closing in on him. No! Darn It! He concentrated and pulled out any remaining strength he had left and created a energy shield. He felt the stone making contact with his shield as it started to come closer. Gohan mustered every ounce of strength he had within him and tried pushing it all away. When he felt more pressure being applied on his shield it dawned on him that he was fighting a losing battle.
He growled for putting himself in this situation. Why did he even do this? So he could save some ponies? He mentally kicked himself for thinking that. Of course he going to do this, he wasn't about to let good people die at the hands of people like her, even if they were different. They aren't strong enough to face her, even with the six all facing Nightmare Moon. No! I can't give up! I won't allow it! His blood boiled at the thought of letting innocent people die. He then felt a surge of energy rush through his body.
Nightmare Moon noticed that the struggle was starting to come to an end. She started laughing triumphantly. "You are a fool for thinking that a monkey such as yourself could defeat me!"
The other ponies watched in horror as Gohan started to get crushed. "No! We have to help him!" Twilight exclaimed. "He's risking his life just to save us." She said as she turned to her friends.
"You're right Twilight. We have to help him! Even if it means getting my hoofs dirty," the white unicorn said now starting to feel brave.
"Thank you Rarity, come on let's go help him." The two sprinted off towards near the hole with the other four following behind. When they got to their destination they aimed their horn towards Nightmare Moon and released all of the magic they had.
"Do you have a plan Twilight?" asked Rarity as she looked at her friend with hopeful look.
"From what I can tell he is capable of taking out Nightmare Moon. We will just distract her long enough for him to finish her." She explained. "And if that doesn't work there is still another way to take her down." Rarity turned to the others and saw the same amount of confusion she had.
Nightmare Moon was about to finish the job until she got hit by the other ponies magic. She started to fall towards the wall until she stopped herself and looked at the ponies. How could she have forgotten about the other ponies, she had been trying to get rid of them all night.
She started charging towards them until she felt something landed on her back. She looked back to see a pink pony on her back on all four hooves. "What do you think your doing?! She asked now furiously annoyed.
The pink mare replied,"I'm just star gazing" she said in a cheerful tone as if there was nothing going on right now.
Twilight saw Pinkie Pie on Nightmare Moon," How did she get up there?!" She asked dumbstruck.
"Just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie." Deadpanned the cyan pony. She saw Twilights confused expression and added,"Just don't question it."
Nightmare Moon gave Pinkie a death glare and was about to tear her apart until she saw something from below. Underneath the pile of stone was something glowing. Before she knew it the pile exploded and pieces of the stone exploded out in every direction. She closed her eyes as the shards of stone was flying everywhere. Because of this she didn't see Gohan was charging strait at her.
Pinkie however saw him coming and hopped off her back and watched as Gohan shouldered Nightmare Moon. She ended flying towards the back end of the room. She hit the wall and landed on her side. She could barley focus as the world around her was spinning.
Gohan landed a few yards away from her. "This ends now!" He yelled fiercely. He put his hand by his side and took a familiar stance. "KAAAAMEEEE" he started saying. The ponies watched in awe as a bright blue orb formed below his palm.
"HAAAAMEEEE" he continued. The ponies watched as the orb doubled in size! Nightmare Moon started to get up on her hoofs still dazed from the earlier attack. Alright! Let's Finish This! Gohan thought.
'HAAAAAAA!!!" He yelled as he stuck his palm forward and a blue stream of energy started racing towards Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon had barley any time to react as the beam engulfed her. There was explosion much bigger than all of the others. The room shook for a couple seconds and debris was flying everywhere. This lasted for a few seconds before everything once more started to settle.

There. That should do the job. He smiled and believing he had won he fell forward and fell into unconsciousness. When the rest of the dust had settled a figure was standing tall. This was none other than Nightmare Moon. Around her was a magic shield that she had put up at the last second. Once she saw that her opponent was laying on the floor she dropped her shield and starting walking towards him.
"You thought that you could defeat me!? The elements of harmony couldn't bring me down. So what made you think you could?" she asked as she was now only a few feet away from him.
"You're wrong!" Nightmare Moon turned to see Twilight stepping in front of Gohan. "You think you could destroy the elements of harmony just like that? Well you're wrong, because the spirits of the elements of harmony are here!" She exclaimed full of confidence as her friends joined her by her side.
The shattered elements started glowing and levitated up in the air. "What?" asked the very now confused Nightmare Moon.
"Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt represents the spirit of Honesty!" Some of the remaining elements started floating around an orange earth pony.
"Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion represents the spirit of Kindness!" Just like with Applejack some of the pieces of the elements started floating around her.
"Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger represents the spirit of Laughter!" Pinkie jumped in place as some shards surrounded her.
"Rarity, who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift represents the spirit of Generosity!" The shards then surrounded her.
"And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own hearts desire represents the spirit of Loyalty!" The same happened with her.
"The spirit of these five ponies got us through every challenge you threw at us!"
"You still don't have the sixth element. The spark didn't work!" She said as she started to panic on the inside.
"But it did, a different kind of spark. I felt it the very moment I realize how happy I was to hear you." She said as she turned to face her friends. "To see you. How much I cared about you. The spark ignited in me when I realized when you all are my friends!" She said proudly. Just then a beam of light shown above revealing the sixth element. It lowered itself just over Twilight. "You see Nightmare Moon when those elements are ignited by the... spark. That resides in the hearts of us all it creates the sixth element. The element of. Magic!" Just then there was a bright light and the shards all formed around their necks as necklaces. Twilights element turned into a tiara and settled upon her head. A giant rainbow appeared and lunged at Nightmare Moon.
"NOOOOO!" She tried to escape but it was too late. The rainbow engulfed her."AAAAAHHHHHH!!" She yelled. There was a bright flash. All the ponies were on the floor.
All the ponies got up and realized that their necklace looked like their cutie mark and that Raritys tail grew back. "Gee Twilight, I thought you were just spouting a lot of hooey. But I reckon we really do represent the elements of friendship."
"Indeed you do," came a voice. They all the noticed the sun was raising. Then there was a bright flash and appeared a white Alicorn. Her mane consisted of four different colors and her mane as well was flowing. She had a crown on her head as well as a necklace around her neck and wore gold horse shoes. She also had the picture of the sun on her flank.
All the ponies bowed before the princess except for one. "Princess Celestia!" Twilight
"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student," Celestia said equally happy to see her student. "I knew you could do it."
"But, you told me it was all a ponytale." Twilight said confused at what Princess Celestia was saying.
"I told you that you needed to make some friends. Nothing more." She said calmly. "I saw the signs of Nightmare Moons return, and I knew that it was you who had the magic inside to defeat her, but you could not unleash it until you let true friendship into your heart. Now only if another could as well."
Where Nightmare Moon once stood was a dark blue Alicorn with a light blue mane. She looked like only half the size Princess Celestia was. She had a crown on her head and some light blue horse shoes. She also had the crescent moon on he flank. "Princess Luna. It has been a thousand years since I seen you like this. Time to put our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together little sister."
"Sister?" The ponies behind asked.
"Will you accept my friendship?" Luna looked away ashamed of what she had done. The ponies behind were looking desperate that Luna would accept it. Pinkie Pie leaned a bit to forward and fell forward.
Finally Luna couldn't take it anymore. "I'm so sorry! I missed you so much big sister!" She said as she started to cry out of joy of seeing her sister again.
"I've missed you too little sister," Princess Celestia said with tears in her eyes as well.
Pinkie Pie could be heard crying over the scene that was taking place. "Hey! You know what this calls for? A party!" She said as a smile appeared on her face.
"Pinkie darling you might want to hold onto that later. We still have to get him back to ponyville for recovery." Rarity said as she pointed a hoof at the unconscious Gohan.
This got Princess Celestias attention. "Who is this?" She asked as she walked over to him.
"Well, from what we heard earlier his name is Gohan," Twilight informed her.
Celestia looked at Gohan for a few seconds before continuing,"Do any of you know him and what is he?" She asked curious of this new being.
"Can't say we do princess. He just came out of nowhere and took it himself to fight Nightmare Moon in combat, but we do know from earlier as well that he calls himself a saiyan," Applejack said.
"During his fight with Nightmare Moon we saw he was able to fly without any wings and use some sort of strange magic I've never seen before Princess," Twilight added.
Celestia pondered on what to do with this visitor. She could see that he was in terrible condition and that his breathing was labored. She is also curious about the magic her student was talking about. " Does anypony know where we could take him for recovery?"
"Shouldn't we take him to the hospital?" Twilight asked confused of why they aren't just heading there.
"Because Twilight, the hospital are only able to help ponies and they have nothing on saiyan anatomy. We also don't know how ponyville will react to him."
The ponies thought it over and agreed with Celestia. And that was something they are also going to need to cover later. "Well, we could take him over to my cottage. I've had expreince with handling primates before. If that's ok..." Fluttershy suggested in a small voice.
Celestia nodded, "Alright then, Fluttershy is it?" Fluttershy nodded. "We will take him over to your cottage and when he wakes up we will have a talk with." All the ponies were in agreement with this. Rarity and Twilight picked Gohan up with there magic and headed out.
