No seriously. The arrogant Lord Discord sat in his lounge, irritated that the weather dare  go against his wishes. He warmed himself by the fire and read a book while eating cotton candy. A knock came at the door. "Come In." He grumbled. Celestia entered silently. She sat next to the Alicorn rubbing his back. "So how's my lord?"She asked flirtatiously. "All is good and well Celestia, I'm not in the mood right now ." He answered. She pouted , then stomped his hoof and left with a smug look on her face. Several minutes later another knock came. "Will I ever finish this stinkin' book?!" He yelled. Cheese Sandwich and his wife, Pinkie Pie entered. "Sir we just wanted to ask for a few days off, so Pinkie and I can go on our delayed honeymoon?" He asked, his voice getting louder and excited as he finished his sentence. "No." "But sir--" "That is something only a meanie-mean- pants would do!" Pinkie said. "All of the servants work super-duper hard, most of all my Cheesy, and we all deserve vacation time!" "You can have a vacation." "Really?" "Yes twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week You're fired." "What?! You're not just a member of the meanie club, You're the President!" She said as they were shoved out. Discord chuckled. They always had that reaction, the denial, the name-calling, the empty threats. All caused a good laugh. Another knock came . "What Now!!" A guard stood there awkwardly. "Um, Sir there's a mare at the front gate asking for you." He got up off the floor and trotted towards the door. He opened the gate. There stood a wrinkled old mare. "What is it ?" He asked impatiently.  "My lord old Trix asks for nothing than a bed and a meal." "And what do I have to gain from an shriveled old streetrat like You?" He spat. "Sir I have no money, all I own is the clothes on my back and this rose." She held the rose in her wrinkled hooves. It was a fresh bloom, dripping with rain, red as blood. "A rose? What would a rich,handsome Alicorn like me do with a stupid rose?" He yelled . The earth pony blinked. "Don't be fooled  young lord, for true beauty comes from within." "That sounds too much like a fortune cookie or one of those crazy psychics." "You have lived all your life needing nothing, living with supposedly beautiful people who only like you for money,looks or power. You have turned away truly beautiful people so many times for stupid reasons, you have been blind to the facts of life." She said. She whipped off her cloak to reveal a beautiful young mare her face turned unwrinkled and her coat turned a bright blue, her mane a creamy sky blue. Her eyes glowed purple. "I'm sorry! I didn't know you were this stunning, forgive me?" He begged. "You didn't forgive the candle maker and his pregnant wife." "That was a misunderstanding." "You forced your laundry maid's daughter to kiss your hooves because she was visiting. " " I was wrong. I'll admit it." "The Great and Powerful Trixie does not approve of your lifestyle Lord Discord. She will turn you into what you are." "No!" "Your arrogant,selfish and rude." An antler appeared on his head." What are you doing to me?" A horn grew where his used to be. "Do you know what your name means,Discord? A lack of harmony. So that is what you shall look like." His hooves were replaced with an eagle claw, a lion paw, a lizard foot and a goat hoof. His once luxurious mane was now a snake tail. His eyes turned yellow. "Change me back!" He roared. She stood up. "Fine I will tell you the solution. If you can find a mare that you love, and she returns these feelings, then the spell will be broken." Um could you please wake up." Fluttershy mumbled. Rainbow let out a snore. Angel jumped on her face. Rainbow flew out out of her hammock. "That darn rabbit!" She yelled angrily . "Calm down sis, I made you breakfast." She brought the tray to the the table. "Thanks Flutters." Rainbow said as she devoured her food. "I'm going to go return my book. Need anything in town?" "Nope, Today I'm just going to work on my invention." Rainbow Dash said with her mouth full. "Okay, Bye"                               ........... Fluttershy felt happy. Hopefully they would have new books today. She began to sing happily Little town, it's a quiet village, Every day, lost in time. Little Town filled with little ponies Waking up to say. "Bonjour! Bonjour! Bonjour!" Three ponies greeted. Fluttershy continued to walk towards the bookshop. She ran inside. "Bonjour Fluttershy." Mr. Valjean answered. "Hello, Do you have anything like this one?" She held up the book. "Jane Mare? You finished that last night?" He said with surprise. "Yes." She said quietly." Well I don't have anything new, but feel free to look." She flew up to the shelf and pulled out a book. "I'd like to borrow this one." "The Princess Bride. But you've read this twice!" "It's my favorite! Far- off places,daring sword fights, true love,miracles!" "If you love it that much it's yours." "Really Sir? " "Listen dearie, I don't get many visitors here, I've always loved books, I moved here from Maris to share my love. Your my only customer." "Thank you very much sir!" She fluttered out of the shop. The townsponies sang every morning about Fluttershy every morning. Over the years, she had gotten used to it , though she always felt lonely. She read the first few chapters, reveling in Buttercup and Wesley's love and adventures. A sheep came next to her. "Oh isn't this amazing, She meets the man in black for the first time." She said as she pulled away her book from the sheep.
