Homo-sapiens (the basics)
The purpose of this bestiary is to clear up any confusion about the many different types of Humans.
Humans were once thought to have been a legend with no proof of having ever existed except in legends used to scare foals. This was commonly believed to be true until recent archaeological evidence uncovered a massive ancient city full with all types of proof that they existed, ranging from mysterious items, to full buildings that predate anything ever before discovered.
The basic Human is a bipedal creature, with 2 legs (bent in a similar manner to a young dragon) 2 arms with 5 claws at the end of each arm (again similar to a young dragon), and a massive tree trunk torso. They were about twice the height of a normal pony, or about the same size as one of the princesses. (Though they could range from the shape of a circle with the height of a pony, to the size and shape of a Minotaur) They are able to be distinguished into two sexes, Male and Female. They had no hair on their body except on the heads and possibly around the genitals, where males usually had a shorter mane and females had a longer mane. (This makes it easier to distinguish sexes)
Another feature Humans have that makes them extremely popular is the fact that they were never able to use any form of magic, and yet built all over the world and had built, massive structures. This has been proven as human legends speak of magic like the impossible, this is a reason they were thought to have been myths. (How could a species with no magic do all the things a Human did?)
The Humans were extremely aggressive almost always being in a war with each other. They were extremely territorial almost always fighting wars over land. We believe them to have been omnivores that ate literally anything from meat, to flowers, even other Humans according to some legends. This means that a Human would never run out of food, and could go on for days before the muscles gave out from exhaustion.
From what we know Humans were able to live all over the planet and in some instances lived inside the very planet itself. (This has yet to be confirmed) They were able to live in every climate from the deserts, to the arctic. Even the mountains were home to the Humans. Not only were they able to survive in these harsh climates, they were able to prosper and expand further into even harsher climates.
How they were able to live like they did is unknown, although it is believed that they were able to share massive amounts of information instantaneously, leading to constant development and improvement with buildings and transport.
The route they were able to share this information through is unknown. The sheer amount of information described in legends leads us to believe that simple mind transfer spells would not be able to hold the amount of information without seriously hurting the caster. Another reason a mind transfer spell wouldn't work is because Humans had NO magic whatsoever. A large library that could be accessed at any time in any place is hinted at in legends, but again, this would require magic to use.
There are many different forms and colors of Humans (just like ponies) however the basic shape is always the same across the board. There were Black Humans, White Humans, Red Humans, Yellow Humans, and even Green Humans. The color of the human usually signifies where there ancestors lived in the world. (The locations where each human originated from is unknown) However despite this legends say that all colors of human lived all over the world after a certain point. However a worrying thing with the Green Humans is that legends say they were the fewest in numbers with them making up less than 1% of all other Humans, but were physically superior to the other humans. (This may be due to them being more aggressive and having the stronger survive in a weird attempt at evolution or them being hunted down by the others)
The Humans were able to make things that make even the greatest of our creations pale in comparison. Legends say they made cities entirely out of glass that could touch the heavens. They could move through entire mountains, Stop rivers, get any information they wanted at any time.
In a certain legend describing one of their bloodiest wars (it was the second war to cover the entire planet) the Humans were able to create a device that wiped out an entire city, leaving absolutely nothing behind. The light from the weapon was said to have turned night to day within 10 miles, and the explosion could be felt 12 miles away. The legend says that they harnessed the power of the sun to do this, However since only the princesses can use the sun, and Humans don’t have magic this weapon probably never existed. Even the princesses themselves wouldn't be able to create a weapon like the one described, as it the body of an
Alicorn wouldn't be able to handle the stress of moving that much energy around in the ways described.
More legends repeatedly describe boxes where humans could look into it and see places all over the world, again despite the wide use of this we believe it may be a reference to a religion of some sort, due for it to actually look into other parts of the world requires magic.
Humans were able to communicate over great distances almost instantaneously. We believe this to be a method similar to the great library the humans use to get information from except used to communicate rather than for information.
