Uggg! This is so hard!” Whined Celestia.
She was writing up some papers for deciding the date with the monthly meeting with the other kingdoms. She had been working ever so hard to get the Griffon King’s date finalized.
‘oh I’ll be good on the 28’ ‘scratch that something has come up’ ‘oh never mind it’s open again!’ ‘ erm sorry, but a family matters have taken up the rest of the week…’
She could not possibly get a date out of him! Not to mention his ‘family matters’ have just messed up everyone else’s ONLY opening! She sighed and rubbed her temple with her hooves.
Just as she once again levitating her feather pen to write back to the Griffon King *for the 37 time…* Luna burst in with a cheerful smile.
“Oh Tia!” She chimed, “It’s sunset time!”
Celestia groaned, she had worked very hard the whole day filing out her larger share of paperwork and finally catching up on Twilight Sparkle’s letters.
“Oh, right… could you, wait hold on just a sec uhh, There! Umm what was I going to say? Oh uh right! Could erm you be a dear and uhh make the sunset for me…?” Said Celestia as she trailed off after losing her thoughts.
“No.”
“Thanks, I’ll- wait what did you just say?” Said Celestia with perked ears and focused attention.
“NO! I’ve done the sunset SEVEN times in a row for you because a cared for you! Now you’re just being lazy! Doing the sunset means organizing the patrol ENTIRLY to color what parts of the clouds pink and when EXACTLY to put in the faint rainbow in the sky!” Rejected Luna
Lu Lu! It’s not my fault that I get WAY more paperwork then you!”
Celestia pointed to her desk. Luna looked over her sister’s shoulder to see her big sister’s desk covered with letters from the Griffon King, and ONE piece of parchment that was a contract to start a new construction for a new school, that was already signed and was just lying there. Luna looked back at her sister.
Celestia.” Said Princess Luna.
“Yes! Do you see it all?!” Replied Princess Celestia.
“You have –like- ONE PIECE OF PAPERWORK, the rest is just haggling with the Griffon King for a date!”
“NO! Look! I have this form for a new school that I had to read all of it and it’s like…one…paragragh… BUT then there’s all these letters from the Griffon King! And, And!-“ Rebelled Celestia, but Luna cut her off.
“You have a paragraph’s worth of reading and letters that are unnecessary, watch.”
Luna levitated a feather quill and a piece of parchment over to her and quickly jotted something down. She paused for just a moment before sending it quite quickly.
“Hey! I didn’t get to see it!” Whined Celestia.
“So?” Said Luna as she stuck her tongue out at Celestia.
A moment later a letter with the Griffon Royal Seal poofed in front of Luna’s face. This time she let Celestia see it. Over her shoulder Celestia read reluctantly, but soon snatched it out of Luna’s magic. Luna stood with a smirk as Celestia read the rest of the letter.
‘ Yes I am able to attend the given time along with the rest of the other Kingdom Royals.’
Celestia glared at her sister. “What-did-you-write!?”
Much to Celestia’s annoyance she hoped away in happiness. “It’s my newest secret!”
Part of Celestia’s mane fell over her face. She blew it off and huffed, “Pft- whatever not that care. I just wish you could live my life so you’d understand.”
“Well I was thinking that the other day! You can finally see how much harder my life is!” Said Luna excitedly.
“Then it’d settled we switch bodies. We tell no one so the results won’t vary and we act APPROPRIATELY so that we don’t mess each other’s reputations. Deal?” Said Celestia as she stuck out her hoof out for a hoofshake.
“Deal, together! 1-2-3!” Shouted Luna.
Together in harmony they fired up their horns and cast an ancient spell. Their bodies merged then separated with their souls in different bodies. Luna shook her head and moaned. She rubed her temple with a gold-shoed white hoof. Her eyes went wide as she saw her green, blue, seafoam, and pink mane. She looked over to see a smaller blue alicorn in front of her, but it wasn’t a mirror. Celestia was going through the same experience. Their eyes met at the same time.
“Woah…”
