Part 1: Section 1: Honeycrisp the Filly
Honeycrisp was born to Applejack, the Bearer of Honesty, on the 10 of October in the 1679th year of Rule of the royal Sisters. There is not a Pony in Equestria who knows who Honeycrisp’s Father was except for Applejack and possibly the Stallion himself. The psychological Files on Honeycrisp do not speak of any effect that that this has had on the Pony.
So Honeycrisp grew up on Sweet Apple Acres, the Apple Family Estate, helping her Family with Chores and the like. Honeycrisp has told in many Interviews that the Amount of Chores to be done on the Farm was the main Reason why Honeycrisp was the first one in her Class to get her Cutie Mark. She has stated that this was a shock to her family, especially her aunt Applebloom, because they had all been the last ones in their Classes to receive their Cutie Marks, but I digress. Her Cutie Mark Story would be an easy one to have guessed based on her Standing in History, but it is still an enjoyable Story to recount.
Honeycrisp was a very intelligent and quick-witted Pony but also was very lazy, much to the Chagrin of her Mother, so Honeycrisp found herself in one of two situations; either put some actual Effort into her Chores or see if she could put her Intelligence to good Use. Being the Filly she was, she chose the Latter and over the Course of a Week had developed a Machine that was able to automatically wash Pigs, which she has stated was her “least favorite Chore”. She followed this with an Apple collecting Apparatus and a simulated bucking Machine. Looking back on her Achievements she realized her Destiny and a Pair of interlocking Gears appeared on her Flank.
Honeycrisp in School was not an amicable Filly. She would quickly form and dissolve Friendships in order to gain what she wanted leaving many to form a great Distrust of her. Many claimed to not have liked her when she was that Age, but all admit that in the Process she had never directly nor indirectly lied to them. Her Cousins have even gone on Record saying that she had used them to her Advantage.
When Honeycrisp was older she left Ponyville to further her Education. She quickly absorbed all there was for her to learn that she found “mattered to [her]” and returned to Ponyville two Years later.
