My Little Dragon: Roc-ing Dragonville
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryThe Mane Six and Spike has gotten done viewing an alternate universe where Celestia hatched and raised Spike herself a good seven years before she even met Twilight (meaning that Spike and Twilight are the exact same age) and, instead of being Twilight's assistant, Spike was Twilight's equal partner.
"Well, girls, was that a good show or what?" Twilight ask her friends with a grin.
"Oh yes, we love it, darling." Rarity said with a smile.
"So anyone else got any universe ideas?"
"Say, I got one. Remember the universe where we are Dragons and Spike here is a pony?" Rainbow asks with a smirk, making the others nod. "How about we view another episode?"
"Good idea." Twilight comments as she turns the Universal Viewer on. After doing the usual, the gang begins watching another show from the universe of My Little Dragon...
It was another beautiful day in Dragonville. The Dragons love a prank as well as the next species, but sometimes even they can get way out of hand at times, especially when it comes to friends who act like bullies. Today is no exception.
"Claw biting action overload; she was like a stunt superstar!" Pinkie Pie exclaims eagerly. The pink Worker Dragon was flying while talking to her Mind Dragon friend Twilight Sparkle, who is sitting down on the ground near the fountain while reading a book. The female Dragon does her best to tolerate her friend, as usual. "She was so flying higher and higher, Rainbow Dash swoops down and swoosh; Right before she hit the ground, shoom!"
Pinkie demonstrates, flying before landing on her claws, adding, "She pulled up; Wowie!"
"Right, uh uh..." Twilight said with a nod. Of course, the Mind Dragon wasn't paying any attention but kept her mind on her book.
"Then she loops around, around, like woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!"
Pinkie eagerly imitates what Rainbow did, so to speak, with her head then the Worker Dragon got so dizzy that she fell to the ground. You can how excited that the pink Dragon is over what her friend did.
"Right," Twilight said with a nod. Suddenly Pinkie ended up on her back...then saw Rainbow flying overheard. Perfect! The Worker Dragon got up and flew after the Storm Dragon. The Mind Dragon sighs in relief, "Phew. No offense but I thought she never leaves."
Twilight flips a page with her teeth, instead of magic while she kept on reading.
Rainbow flew on some more, expecting a few day of flying without any interruptions. That is until a familiar voice spoke, "Rainbow Dash!" The Storm Dragon's eyes widen in shock as she turn. There's Pinkie, flying along the park trail below.
"Ugh, Pinkie Pie, not again!" Rainbow groans in annoyance. The Worker Dragon has been chasing her recently and it's getting rather annoying. The Storm Dragon made a burst of speed, but that only prompts Pinkie to follow her eagerly.
"Rainbow Dash!"
"Not now, Pinkie Pie!"
Rainbow got faster, trying to lose Pinkie who matches her while calling out, "Rainbow Dash, I..."
"I'm in the middle of something!" Rainbow exclaims, losing patience with her friend. Can't Pinkie see that she doesn't want her around right now?
"But..."
"I said not now!'
Rainbow of course ends up eating her words...and a sheer rock wall of a very tall cliff as she crash right into it without realizing it. The Storm Dragon, after sticking to it, groans as she slides down, landing in a heap in front of the waiting Pinkie.
"I was going to tell you to look out for that mountain." The Worker Dragon explains to the Storm Dragon with a giggle. Rainbow groans in a annoyance. Now she tells her!
Pinkie hums to herself as she flew through Dragonville. The pink Dragon wants to ask a favor from her good pal Rainbow who is napping on a cloud. Of course, due to how loud that her friend is, the mare tries to stick some clouds into each ear, but even that isn't enough to block out the sound.
Pinkie spots three Dragons at a cart and stop to speak, "Hi there! Know where Rainbow Dash is at? I wanna look for her." Rainbow, needless to say, stood up looking freaked out as the clouds fell from her ears. No, not again! The Storm Dragon frantically burrowed through the cloud in hopes to hide herself, "Hi there! Have you seen Rainbow Dash? No? Well, thanks anyway."
On the ground, Pinkie stops Twilight who has picked up some new books, saying, "Twilight! Have you seen Rainbow Dash all over?'
"Yeah, I think she's up there." Twilight said as she points a claw to a familiar cloud. Rainbow didn't proceed in hiding herself all the way. Her rear is exposed.
Pinkie giggles as she calls out to Rainbow Dash in a sing-songy like voice, "Rainbow Dash!"
Rainbow came out of the cloud in horror, looking around the speeds off, enough to pulverize the rest of the cloud. After what happened today, the Storm Dragon doesn't want anything else to do with Pinkie right now! The Worker Dragon doesn't seem upset about this. In fact, Pinkie hops along the road while going after her playfully.
Rainbow flew through the sky like mad, going through the clouds like crazy and flew over Dragon Apple Acres and hide behind one corner of the barn. The Storm Dragon peeks out. Good, the coast is clear. Pinkie couldn't have chased her after going so fast.
"Close one." Rainbow sighs in relief. The Storm Dragon turns to leave, believing that she has escaped the pink crazy Dragon...
"Hi!" A familiar Worker Dragon exclaims as she stood right in front of her making Rainbow scream in horror. Pinkie has caught up with her! That one word is enough to make her go flying off again, screaming like mad, rocketing through the orchard while knocking some apples loose. And what do you know; Pinkie is on the pursuit once more, hopping playfully.
Rainbow flew through Dragonville before plunging right into the tree branches of the library, hiding near the observatory platform. The Storm Dragon took a quick peek through the leaves then stop to catch her breath...but felt something soft that she's sitting on...
"Hi again," Pinkie exclaims playfully. Rainbow is actually sitting on her head!
And of course, Rainbow yells and flew off like mad once more, flying over the meadowlands and up a distant hill, with Pinkie taking her time in following. What is it going to take to get away from this lunatic?! The Storm Dragon uses a cloud as a hideout and tiptoes away before landing on the shore of a small lake. After all that, Pinkie couldn't have caught up again, right?
Unfortunately, we see a familiar magneta-mane pink hair popping out of the water, showing a familiar Dragon wearing a diving mask, snorkel, 'floaties' and swim fins' on each leg'. Pinkie spits out the snorkel and pops the mask on her forehead before saying, "Rainbow Dash, I need a favor."
Rainbow yelps as she roses into the air to get away but stops to groan, "Oh forget it." The Storm Dragon lands on the ground in defeat. It's obvious that she will never get away from Pinkie so may as well find out what the Worker Dragon wants in hopes to get it over with.
"It will be totally fun, I promise you that!'
"Fine, let's get this over with..."
For some reason, Pinkie asked Rainbow in adjusting the position of a cloud near the uppermost portion of the pavilion. The Storm Dragon glances at her friends using her claws as if to frame the effort in a movie. Pinkie squinch her eyes while calling out adjustments with Rainbow doing them. This better be worth it.
"Over to the right...wait, wait, a little to the left. Wait, back to the right!" Pinkie exclaims. Rainbow is getting impatient while tweaking the cloud a bit, "Now a little leftish while staying rightly." The assistant does her best, "Stop! Okay, maybe a few inches to the south; now a couple of centimeters!"
Rainbow is losing patience fast as she drags the cloud. Pinkie nods while saying, "Right. Now one more smidge-a-meter to the..."
"PINKIE PIE," Rainbow yells angrily and in annoyance. She is getting fed up with the adjustments and wants to get to the point now!
"Oh, uh perfect. Now wait for my signal."
Rainbow sighs, about time. The cloud is now almost exactly above the front doors. Why? Pinkie peeks through a window and grins as inside is Twilight's little alicorn assistant Spike who is collecting a bunch of scrolls from a rack while humming a theme song. This is going to be great! Spike leaves the pavilion...just as Pinkie throws a quick gesture skyward, giving the signal.
Rainbow hit the cloud and soon a sudden flash of lightning appears. Spike screams in fright as he ends up dropping his scrolls. As Pinkie leans to him, the alicorn stood there in shock...and then begins to hiccup like mad.
Rainbow smiles a bit as she flew down to the laughing Pinkie and the hiccupping Spike. That was actually funny! Who knew that her Worker Dragon friend is actually one Tartarus of a prankster?
"Hee hee; Rainbow Dash, we scared Spike so much that he got the hiccups!" Pinkie giggles a bit. Sure enough, Rainbow and Spike laughs with her. That was funny.
"Good one, Pinkie. You are always pulling a fast one on me." Spike said with a chuckle. The alicorn picks up a scroll to clean up his own mess, but hiccups some magic from his horn onto it in surprise, causing the scroll to vanish as a surprise.
"Oh, you aren't hurt, right?" Pinkie asks Spike in worry.
"Nah, don't worry. Alicorns aren't immune to various pains." Spike insists to Pinkie.
Princess Sun Dragon was looking for a document in her bedchamber when a scroll appears from out of nowhere. The princess looks confused, a message from her student?
"Okay, sure, no problem," Pinkie said as she and Rainbow smile before laughing a bit. Spike sighs as he picks up the other scroll. But another hiccup sends another magic blast that send them vanishing like mad, causing him to stare in concern.
"Hoo boy; I wish I could say the same thing about the scrolls." Spike groans a bit, knowing that the princess is in for a big mess.
Princess Sun Dragon was trying to figure out the first scroll, not sure what it's about, but yelps as more scrolls appears, pelting her like mad.
Rainbow and Pinkie laughs like mad as Spike tries to get the last few scrolls, only for them to fall victim to another hiccup/magic blast. That is so hilarious, making him do that.
"Ever saw anything so hilarious?" Pinkie giggles as she fell to the ground laughing.
"Oh, I can think of one thing." Rainbow said with a wicked smirk. Suddenly the Storm Dragon hits the cloud causing another lightning flash to happen. This time, the Worker Dragon got so scared that she got the hiccups as well, alternating between those and the giggles; Rainbow looks impressed as she flew down. "Wow, didn't take you for a prankster, Pinkie Pie."
"What, you kidding?" Pinkie giggles as she recovers enough to stand up. "Why, I love to pull pranks! All in good fun and you of all Dragons know that Pinkie Pie looooooves to have fun!"
"Hmmm, you aren't annoying as I thought you to be. Say, how about we hang out and have more fun?"
"That'd be...I'd really...when do...I mean...when you..."
Pinkie was zipping around while talking until Rainbow stops her by putting a claw on her mouth. The Storm Dragon smirks as she suggests, "I think a simple nod will work."
"Mmm-hmm," Pinkie said while nodding a bit. Rainbow lowers her claw as the newest prankster duo smirks at each other. This is going to be so much fun!
Later, Rainbow and Pinkie came out of the local Dragonville joke shop with a bunch of goodies to use to play funny tricks on their friends.
"So who are we going to mess with first?" Pinkie asks Rainbow curiously.
"Oh, I got the first object in mind." Rainbow remarks with a grin.
The two Dragons flew over to the Carousel Boutique and set the prank up. Once they are done, Pinkie rang the doorbell before she and her friend hide, waiting.
"Hmmm, is she even home?" Rainbow asked, puzzled. She and Pinkie are hiding behind bushes a short distance away.
"Don't know...oh, this is going to be gold." Pinkie snickers. Just then, a familiar white Mind Dragon opens the door to see who arrived. "Oh, oh, there she is now!"
The two Dragons hide out of sight as their friend looks around then saw what is on the step: a bouquet of flowers.
"Hmm," Rarity said puzzled as she sniffs at the flowers in curiosity. But of course, curiosity kills the cat...or does something to the Dragon as Rarity comes up with something on her nose that made her sneeze like mad. The Mind Dragon has been set up with sneezing powder!
Rarity heard laughter and looks puzzled as she saw her friends; Rainbow’s balancing a sneezing powder can on one claw. The Storm Dragon saw her friend glaring at her and Pinkie, making them fly off, dropping the case and causing the Worker Dragon to sneeze herself upon getting a snootful.
Rarity pauses then smiles a bit. She can't be mad at Rainbow and Pinkie. That prank was a funny one.
The next victim for the next duo is of course Twilight. The Mind Dragon is working on an experiment in her library, doing a report by writing down the calculations and such so far. Of course, as she turns away to mix some of her chemicals that are bubbling, Twilight fails to see the several lines that she did vanish from the page
When Twilight looks back, the Mind Dragon look surprised as the blank paper, making her ask, "Hmm?"
She eyes the mixture, now fuming, then the page—and from behind her come a flash, a few puffs of smoke, and the sounds of exploding chemicals and breaking glass. As she eyes the inkwell suspiciously, she catches the pair's laughter. Outside, Rainbow is holding up a bottle of disappearing ink, which they snuck into the library. The snookered young scientist throws an amused, 'okay, you got me' smile through the window as Pinkie and Rainbow laugh themselves silly and Rainbow drops the bottle.
"Wow, that's so awesome!" Rainbow laughs to Pinkie eagerly.
"Yep," Pinkie giggles in relief.
Applejack was pulling a cart out of her barn, ready to buck some apples at her farm...when she saw a sight that made her gasp in shock. A tree in front of her got apples that are colored as if for Easter! In fact, every tree on her land is affected!
"Land sakes," Applejack exclaims in shock and disbelief. Who did this?!
Applejack then heard familiar laughing and looks confusedly off to each side. Sure enough, there's the mischievous duo nearby, with paint and brush in their claws.
For a while though, Applejack doesn't seem to appreciate it as she threw the apples at her friends angrily, causing them to fly away from the scene. Those two punks have ruined her family's crops!
Of course, one of the apples lands in a water barrel, washing away the paint with the fruit undamaged. Applejack, seeing this, chuckles as she realizes that the apples aren't damaged. It was only a joke.
"Shucks, 'dat's a good one." Applejack remarks in amusement. She will make a point to apologize and thanks for the laugh later. For now, the Worker Dragon gets to work on getting the paint off the remaining apples.
Fluttershy, the meeky of the Dragons, watches fish and other water-dwellers at a stream bend, having a bit of fund especially nearby a turtle.
At least, the item looks like a turtle, but should Fluttershy took a closer look, she would've seen that it has a long tube attached to its rear, trailing back across the stream to over a hill while squeaking a bit.
Rainbow smirks devilishly as she watches Fluttershy through a telescope. To her, this prank is going to be the greatest. Pinkie jumps up and down while holding a rubber bulb that is attached to the other end of the tube that made the noises.
"Oh, is someone over there?" Pinkie asks Rainbow anxiously. "So who are we going to squirt? Who is it?"
"Fluttershy," Rainbow responds with a snicker.
"What," Pinkie gasps in horror as she drops the bulb. "No, no, no, no, no, NO! Bad idea! We can't prank Fluttershy! She is so sensitive. Why, her feelings could get hurt, even the most harmless of pranks!"
Rainbow backs away from the scope while sighing, "Yeah, you're right." If the two Dragons even prank their good friend, they may hurt Fluttershy's feelings...even scare her. Rainbow blew a raspberry while turning back to Pinkie. "Well, I suppose we should find another victim made out of tougher stuff, but whom?"
Of course, Rainbow didn't notice that Pinkie is trying her best not to laugh for some reason. The Storm Dragon looks back into the scope before backing off again. Unknown to Rainbow, she was the next victim: her left eye has a ring of ink around it, thanks to certain ink stuff left on the telescope.
"Any idea," Rainbow asks puzzled then hears her friend laughing. "What's so funny?"
"Oh, I got some Dragon in mind, the toughest there is." Pinkie giggles like mad.
"Really; Awesome," Rainbow exclaims as she looks around to see whom her friend is referring to. "Tell me who it is! Do I know them?"
Pinkie points to the lake while giggling, "Yes, you are very close." Rainbow took a look in the lake and saw her reflection in the lake. Both Dragons laugh as Rainbow realized that her friend has set her up for another prank.
"Good one, Pinkie." Rainbow chuckles as she held out a claw as if expecting a high five. The Worker Dragon tries to high five her but Rainbow pulls her claw back each time. The two friends laugh mischievously.
Fluttershy, unaware of what's happening, looks at the decoy turtles, trying to pet and is startled when its head bounce back and forth on its spring.
The next morning, Pinkie flies over a path in a pair of weird glasses with the big red nose and droopy mustache while blowing on a noisemaker. The Worker Dragon is wearing the funny 'arrow through the mane' on her head. She grins while stopping near Rainbow's home, some sort of building on clouds and rainbows. Pinkie can't wait for a time of pranks with her buddy!
"Rainbow Dash, rise and shine!" Pinkie calls out to the house happily. "It's going to be a brand new day! We got a lot of pranking to..."
Pinkie was cut off as a head poke out a window of Rainbow's home...but it isn't the Storm Dragon but some sort of huge bird like creature, giving a puzzled yet slightly hostile look to the newcomer. Pinkie yelps in startle by this.
Rainbow, who got the ink ring off her eye by now, peeks out and grins while saying, "Morning, Pinks," The Storm Dragon flew down to the ground and motioning to the bird. "Gilda, this is my gal pal, Pinkie Pie."
Gilda screeches as she flew downward to the ground. Pinkie drops all her joke items to get a look at the creature. She is indeed bird though has a bald head with feathers on them. Gilda has yellow eyes that appears to be piercing a hole right through Pinkie if that's possible...as well as a female voice and body that screams 'too hip for you Dragons'.
"Hey, what's up?" Gilda asks Pinkie with a nod.
"Pinkie Pie, this is my Roc pal Gilda." Rainbow said to Pinkie with a smile, introducing Gilda to the Worker Dragon.
"A rock; Dashie, you're kidding. Gilda looks like a bird, not a giant stone!" Pinkie giggles a bit as if her friend Rainbow has made an error. Gilda roll her eyes at this while spreading her wings in a crouch, jumping towards the Worker Dragon.
"Easy, Gilda; Anyway, Pinkie, don't worry, she get that mistake allot. Gilda's a 'Roc', not 'rock', as in a giant legendary bird."
"And way awesome," Gilda remarks, throwing a wing around Rainbow before giving a playful snarl to Pinkie; The two friends then laugh while trading their particular version of a secret handshake. Pinkie stares in amazement.
"I have known Gilda ever since my days at Junior Speedster Dragon Camp!" Rainbow explains to Pinkie eagerly. "As Gild, you remember that chant that we did, right?"
"What, you kidding? They made us recite the dumb thing every morning. I would never get that thing out of my head."
"Soo..."
Rainbow gave a big smile to Gilda. The Roc gave an unenthusiastic little groan. She hates to do that chant but then again, Gilda will do it for Rainbow's sake if she must.
"Fine, only for you, Dash," Gilda remarked. The Storm Dragon and her friend flew up into the sky and does their chant as Pinkie watch on to hear the whole thing.
"Junior Speedsters are our lives, sky-bound soars and daring dives." Rainbow and Gilda said as they land onto the ground. "Junior Speedsters, it's our quest, to someday be the very best!"
The two flying creatures grin...but turn their heads in embarrassment as Pinkie laughs, stomping a claw onto the ground, "Wowie, that was amazing, especially from a huge bird rock!"
"I'm a Roc." Gilda said to Pinkie, a bit annoyed by the mistake, "Roc without the k, Dragon."
"Okie dokie lokie! Anyway, this chant gives me a neat idea for a prank!" Pinkie put her head back into the pile of novelties to put them back into place, "How about it, Gilda; You up for a game of rock?"
"Roc, not rock," Gilda screeches at Pinkie angrily but she calms down a bit. "Err, sorry. Ahem, as much as I would love a good prank as much as the next 'Roc', Rainbow promised me that we would get a flying session in the morning. Right, buddy?"
Gilda elbows Rainbow as she flew off into the sky. The Storm Dragon chuckles as she flew up, "Oh yeah. Right...Pinkie Pie, you don't mind, right? Gilda just got here. We will catch up with you later, okay?"
"Oh sure...no problem. Have fun you two! I will just catch up with you..." Pinkie pauses as Rainbow and Gilda flew off, then sighs sadly while sitting on her behind. "...later."
Pinkie was so eager to hang with Rainbow today but she should be happy that her Storm Dragon pal is hanging with her longtime friend...so why is Pinkie feeling so sad?
Rainbow laughs as she flew in the sky, doing a loop the loop with Gilda following. The Roc smirks as she overtakes her Dragon friend on a straight run. This is like old times indeed!
Rainbow accelerates while Gilda stop at a cloud to take a breather, but the Storm Dragon collides into her, causing the Roc to get bowled over. Regardless, the two laughs in amusement.
"Right, awesome, like old times!" Gilda laughs eagerly.
"Right, only faster." Rainbow chuckled as the two bump talons and claws, "So what now? Anything co..."
The two were about to bump, only for a familiar head to appear between the two, causing them to tap both sides of it. As Rainbow and Gilda yelp in surprise, Pinkie appears, saying, "Hey there!"
"Huh?" Rainbow and Gilda ask in surprise as Pinkie appears again in the cloud and disappearing each time.
"It's later and I caught up; neat, huh?"
Pinkie kept on flying up and down on a trampoline to reach the cloud. Yeah, it doesn't make sense since she could just fly, but this is the pink Dragon we're talking about, right? Does everything need to make sense with her?
"Pinkie Pie, you are so random!" Rainbow laughs a bit while grinning at Pinkie who appears and disappears while jumping/flying each time. Her friend is always worth a lot of laughs.
Of course, someone else doesn't appear to approve of Pinkie's appearance: it's Gilda who glares in annoyance at the Worker Dragon as if saying 'get lost'. The Roc points to a cloud while asking, "Yo, Dash, betcha you can't beat me to that cloud!!"
"You mean as in racing? Oh, you are so on!"
"Okay, 1, 2, 3, and go!"
The two friends took off quickly. As Pinkie reappears, she realizes that she herself is all alone, making the Worker Dragon frowns as she exclaims, "Hey! That's not cool!"
Rainbow and Gilda continues flying until both reach another cloud, punching up through it at the same instant. The two friends laugh while stopping in mid-air. To them, that is so awesome with a capital 'A'!
"Oh yeah, I won as usual!" Rainbow laughs eagerly.
"As if, I won, dude," Gilda insists to Rainbvow with a laugh.
"No way, Rock! I won!"
"It's Roc, not Rock, okay? And yes way, I so won!"
"Come on, I was so ahead of you." Rainbow remarked, scoffing at Gilda's claim.
"No way, I don't think so!" Gilda scoffs otherwise.
"Come on, dream on!"
"Remember back at camp? I..."
Rainbow interrupts Gilda as she laughs some more, "There isn't any way that you could've beaten me, Gilda!"
"Whatever." Gilda scoffs a bit. It appears that this argument could go on for hours on who won and all that.
"I say that was really close!" A familiar voice spoke up, startling Rainbow and Gilda. They turn to see a familiar pink Dragon floating up thanks to a bunch of balloons tied around her. Of course, Pinkie can fly but this is her being random. "But I say Rainbow Dash beat you by a teeny-weeny, itty-bitty hair....or a teeny-weeny, itty-bitty rocky feather."
"Ha, see? Good thing Pinkie knows how to keep you honest, Rocky!" Rainbow laughs a bit to Gilda, making the Roc giving both her and Pinkie some nasty looks.
"It's 'Roc', not 'Rock'. Anyway, how about...last one to that cloud is one gnarly pony! Go!" Gilda exclaims. She and Rainbow takes off in a burst of cloud vapor...but when it clears, the Roc has stayed behind. Gilda flies over to Pinkie and speak; her voice has a nasty edge all of the sudden. "Hey, first off, you're a dope for not using your wings...and the high altitude is making you dizzy."
Gilda pops one balloon at a time with her claws before Pinkie ends up sinking. As the Roc flew off, the Worker Dragon protest, "Wait, guys!" Rainbow reaches the cloud and looks for Gilda. Where is her friend anyway? Just then the Roc flew landing on the ground. For a moment, it looks like the two are along...until a familiar voice spoke up, "Wow, you two almost got away from me that time!"
Rainbow and Gilda turns and saw Pinkie flapping her wings while smiling. The pink Dragon comments, "You were right, Gilda! Who needs balloons or machines when I can fly; Very smart for a huge stone Rock!"
"It's 'Roc', not 'Rock'!" Gilda growls, getting a bit irritated at Pinkie. Turning to Rainbow, she asks, "Hey Rainbow, any chance you got some new moves or have your Dragon years made you slow?"
"What, me slow? Ha ha! I got some new moves, sit back, G, this will take a while!" Rainbow laughs eagerly. The Storm Dragon flew off the cloud and flew off to do her new moves to prove her Roc friend wrong...
Of course, Gilda wasn't paying attention to Rainbow. Instead, she turns to Pinkie and motions the Worker Dragon over, saying, "Hey Pinkie...come here..."
"Yeah," Pinkie asks Gilda curiously. "What do you want, Miss Rock?"
What happened, Pinkie didn't see coming. Gilda grabs the Worker Dragon by the neck and hold her up face to face, growling furiously. Something tells Pinkie that Rainbow's friend doesn't want her around at all.
"First off, it's 'Roc', not 'Rock'! And second, take a hint, you dumb lizard! Get lost! Dash doesn't need to hang with a pink dweeb like you now that I'm around!" Gilda snaps to Pinkie cruelly. "You're dorking up the sky, Stinkie Pie, so make like a bee and BUZZ off!"
Gilda then throws Pinkie to the ground, causing her to scream as she is send flying towards the grounds, spiraling like mad. The mean Roc watch her then smirks cruelly. That would get rid of her.
Rainbow flew back to Gilda, unaware that her longtime friend wasn't really watching, and exclaims, "Ha! Try matching that!" The Storm Dragon blinks as she notices that Pinkie is no longer around. "Wait, where's Pinkie? She was flying here a few seconds ago."
"Eh, she left; something about being busy as a bee." Gilda lies while shrugging a bit. Rainbow blinks a bit then shrugs while accepting this answer.
In a Dragon-made hole below, Pinkie got out groaning a bit then she recovers. The Worker Dragon stood up and frowns while saying, "Hmph! What is Gilda's problem?"
Pinkie was a bit upset about Gilda's attitude. So she decides to speak to the only Dragon who can give her advice about this: Twilight.
The Storm Dragon was using her magic to flip some pages in a book back at the library as Pinkie explains the problem.
"So you're certain that this...'Rock' friend of Rainbow Dash's is really so mean?" Twilight ask Pinkie as if skeptic by her friend's claim.
Spike, who was reading on some stairs, spoke in a puzzled way, "I'm surprised that rocks can even move, let alone talk."
"Yeah, Twilight," Pinkie exclaims while pacing in the room. "That bird kept stealing Rainbow Dash away, she pops my balloons and worst yet, she told me to get lost! Ugh, I have never met a Rock this mean! Actually, I never met a Rock that is a bird at all."
"Wait, you mean 'Roc', right?" Twilight asked Pinkie, realizing that her friend meant that Gilda is a 'Roc' as in a 'bird', not a stone 'rock'.
"Right. Anyway, if I had, she wouldn't been as mean and grumpy as Gilda." Pinkie remarks to Twilight with a pouty look.
"Well, you know what I think, Pinkie?" Twilight asked.
"Hmm," Pinkie asked in confusion.
"Well, I think... you're jealous." Twilight stated.
"Jealous," Pinkie gasps in shock and disbelief. How could Twilight say that about her? The pink Dragon thought that the purple Mind Dragon is her friend!
"As in green with envy...or pink with envy in this case." Spike remarks with a chuckle.
"Yeah, jealous; Pinkie, forgive me, I don't want to upset you but just because Rainbow Dash has another friend doesn't make Gilda a grump." Twilight explains to Pinkie who looks crushed and upset by this. Of course, the Mind Dragon hasn't met Gilda yet but presumed what she said anyway. "Well, to be honest...maybe it's you, Pinkie...who needs to improve her own attitude."
What Twilight said didn't sit well, making Pinkie stammer, "Improve my attitude?! But I...it's Gilda, are you..."
Pinkie gave a frustrated yell as she stalks out of the library. Perhaps it was a bad idea to come to Twilight about this after all. The Dragon slams the door, causing the whole building to shake.
Twilight sighs as she and Spike gave worried looks. Hopefully their pink Dragon friend won't do anything...drastic.
Pinkie flew through Dragonville, thinking about what Twilight said. Perhaps her friend is right. Perhaps the pink Dragon was being jealous. After all, Gilda must have a good reason to steal Rainbow away, right?
"Perhaps Twilight is right. Perhaps Gilda isn't a big mean grumpy mean meanie pants." Pinkie said while sighing a bit. "Perhaps I'm just a big jealous judgmental jealous jealousy-pants."
Pinkie sighs as she heads over to a job and orders herself an ice cream soda at her place of business: Sugarcube Corner. The pink Dragon sips it at a table. Perhaps Pinkie will find a way to make peace with Gilda, be friends enough so that the Roc wouldn't be annoyed with her the next time.
Just then, Pinkie heard a familiar noise and two familiar laughing voices that nearly upset both the table and her drink.
"Yeah, that was awesome!" Gilda is heard laughing.
"Ugh." Rainbow is heard. Pinkie looks up to see Rainbow and Glida flying among the rooftops. "As much as I hate to cut this short, I got a few weather jobs to deal with. Shouldn't take too long," The two friends lands on the ground. The Storm Dragon got some work to do before she can hang with Gilda some more. "Listen, hang out in town and I will come find you, okay?"
"Hey, that's cool." Gilda remarks with a shrug. "I will chow down until then, 'kay?"
Rainbow flew off. Once she's gone, Gilda saw a produce cart nearby where AJ's grandmother, Granny Smith, is looking for some corn. The Roc smirks evilly; Time to make some 'fun'.
Gilda sneaks over to the produce cart and quickly shows her tail, waving it around a bit. To Granny, this is enough to make her scream as she thought the tail to be a snake!
"Gah; A rattler, a rattler; Run for the hills, Dragons; save yourselves!" Granny screams as flew off as best as she can....which isn't much.
Once Granny is gone, Gilda came out of hiding and laughs cruelly. The Storm Dragon in charge of the cart looks puzzled at her.
"Eh, this stuff isn't fresh anyway. Lame," Gilda remarks as she heads off. Pinkie couldn't believe it. That Roc pulled a trick on Granny Smith...and almost scared her to death!
"Aww, poor Granny Smith; She didn't know it was a joke. I mean, how mean!" Pinkie exclaims a bit upset. But the Worker Dragon calms down a bit. "Wait, wait, can't misjudge her. After all, it was kind of a funny prank...right?"
Pinkie saw something that made the Dragon more upset. The Roc grabs an apple with her tail without anyone noticing...or even paying for it. Gilda then chomps onto the fruit and heads off.
"Wait, I did misjudge! Not only she is a meanie mean-pants but she is a thief as well!" Pinkie exclaims, smoke comes out of her nostrils. But the Worker Dragon calms down somehow. "Wait, wait, no, no. She might give it back. It was a joke...right?"
Of course, there is one more problem that could set the Worker Dragon off: Fluttershy is in the progress of escorting a family of ducks down a street, saying gently, "All right, this way, Mama Duck. Once you're across, you will be free and clear."
Of course Fluttershy fails to see Gilda coming from the other way. Not until her behind collides with her, making the Roc screech furiously, "Hey!"
"Oh, excuse me, Miss Gilda Rock lady..."
"It's 'Roc', not 'Rock'! And watch where you're going, you dumb Dragon!"
"Oh, I'm so sorry really..." Fluttershy said, backing up in fright. "I...I was just trying to..."
Gilda begins to mock Fluttershy's tone of voice, "'I'm sorry, I'm sorry!'." The Roc viciously goes back into her normal tone of voice, advancing viciously as the duck rush off in fright. "For a big Dragon, you got the brains of a lame 2 year old, you doofus!"
"But...I'm sorry, Miss Gilda Rock...I..."
"FOR THE LAST TIME, IT'S 'ROC', NOT 'ROCK'!"
Gilda roars loudly into the meek Storm Dragon's face very loudly. All was silent until Fluttershy sobs sadly as she quickly stomps away then flies away in sadness. Pinkie gasp in shock as Gilda run up to make sure that the source of her recent annoyance is gone. That Roc made Fluttershy cry!
"Ugh, all of these Dragons are driving me up the wall. I'm outta here!" Gilda scoffs as she flew off away from the stunned Dragons who saw what happening. Pinkie looks upset. Twilight was wrong, the pink Dragon wasn't jealous! She was right all along!
"Oh, that Rock Gilda is a grump, a thief and a bully, the meanest kind of mean meanie pants ever! I can take it, but no one...and I mean NO ONE...makes Fluttershy cry like that! No one! This calls for extreme measure..." Pinkie said sternly as she gave out a fierce smile. "...Pinkie Pie Style!"
Pinkie kept her fierce smile; the Worker Dragon put her plan to deal with Gilda into action. And to do that...she...stood outside of Sugarcube Corner, her place where she works at, and waves to some Dragons who came in.
"Welcome, welcome, welcome!" Pinkie insists eagerly. There is a party going on inside Sugarcube Corner right now and every Dragon and thing are invited!
"So who is 'dis here Gilda Ah've been hearing about?" Applejack asks Rarity curiously. The two Dragons haven't met the Roc yet so they are curious.
"She is an old friend of Rainbow Dash, a Rock. So rare...and odd because I have never heard of a talking stone," Rarity said thoughtfully.
As the two Dragons walk off, Twilight speaks to Fluttershy, asking, "So you have met Gilda, right? Tell me, what is she like? I would love to hear your opinion."
"Err, wel...I will tell you later, Twilight." Fluttershy said meekly. The Storm Dragon doesn't feel like talking about Gilda right now. She is worried that this party thrown for the Roc will set her off again.
Speaking of which, Fluttershy goes over to the one throwing the party, Pinkie Pie, as the pink Dragon is greeting more guests, "Welcome, welcome some more!"
"Err, Pinkie Pie? About this party for Gilda...you really think it's a good idea? I mean..."
"Awww, don't you worry your pretty little head about that mean rock Gilda." Pinkie giggles as she knocks Fluttershy on the head, making the mare frown a bit. "Why, your Auntie Pinkie will take care of everything."
As Pinkie flew off to the door, she fails to notice Fluttershy's annoyed look that she spoke up, though the Worker Dragon didn't hear her, "I am a year older than you."
"Hey Gilda! Oh, I'm soooooo honored to throw you a signature Pinkie Pie party! And I really, truly, sincerely hope that you would feel welcome amongst us Dragons, Miss Rocky!"
"Roc, not Rock," Gilda said with a cringed look but she groans as the Roc takes Pinkie's claw to shake it. Without warning, the bird herself receives one nasty body electric shock, sending her tottering to the floor.
Pinkie gave a huge grin as she held up a claw that shows a joy buzzer attached to it, a classic prank! The Worker Dragon laughs as Gilda got up, scowling angrily. And it doesn't help that Rainbow came over, laughing at the sight that she has saw.
"Whoa, Pinkie; The old claw-shake buzzer; you are a scream!" Rainbow laughs a bit to her friend.
Gilda, not wanting to lose her cool around her friend, forces a smile while gave a dry chuckle, "Oh yeah, good one, Pinkie Pie."
"Cool, come on, G! I will introduce you to the rest of my pals!"
"Sure, right behind ya, Dash." Gilda waits until Rainbow walks away, out of hearing sight. Giving a peeved look to Pinkie, the Roc snaps furiously, "Okay, listen up! I know what you're up to! You can't fool me!"
"Great!" Pinkie giggles while giving a smile. Gilda groans in exasperation. This dumb Dragon obviously misses the point that the Roc is trying to reach here.
"No! I mean, I know what you're planning!'
"Aww, I hope so. This wasn't supposed to be a surprise party."
"I mean, I've got my eye on you!" Gilda snaps to Pinkie in annoyance. This better get message across because...
Of course, Pinkie got into Gilda's face, smiling as she said, "And I got my eye on you!" The Worker Dragon bulges her eyes out comically then backs off, much to the rather amused look of the bad Roc.
Gilda got a bad feeling about what's going to happen next.
Pinkie went up to the crowd as she spoke, "Everyone, I'd like you all to meet Gilda, a long-time, dear friend of Rainbow Dash." She hugged the Roc as she continued, "Let's honor her and welcome her to Dragonville."
Pinkie flew away happily, making Gilda giving her an annoyed look to her....but she quickly smiles as the other guests cheer on, Rainbow put an arm around her ‘good friend’.
"Please help yourself." Pinkie insists to Gilda as she motions to a bowl of candy. "Just have fun, Miss Rock."
"It's 'Roc', not 'Rock'." Gilda scowls angrily then eyes the bowls before smirking. "Ah, vanilla lemon drops. All right, don't mind if I do."

Gilda tossed one candy into her mouth...but then the Roc squinches her entire face up in face with steam stinging out of her head, she begins to sweat. Soon, Gilda let up a fiery belch that could shame any Dragon's flame.
Pinkie holds a stick in her claw to roast a marshmallow impaled on it. Once the flames die down, Gilda exclaims, "HOT HOT HOT!"
"G, the punch," Rainbow exclaims quickly. Gilda flew over to a full glass of punch and gulps hastily on it.
Of course, Gilda heard liquid running as she saw that the punch is leaking out of a hole in the glass. The Dragons laugh happily.
"What?" Gilda ask with a dumbstruck look. Another prank was pulled on her obviously.
"Neat! What do you know?" Pinkie asks with a grin on her face. "Pepper in the vanilla lemon drops and punch served in a dribble glass!"
"Oh yeah, that is priceless, don't you think G?" Rainbow asks her friend who flew across the room and downs another glass, gasping for breath.
"Yeah, real hilarious," Gilda said sarcastically.
"Check this out, G! Presents," Rainbow exclaims eagerly as she points to a table stacked with presents nearby.
Greed got into the Roc as she grabs a present eagerly. Gilda opens a ribbon with her beak...but screams as a mass of toy snakes came right into her face. The Roc looks dazed and annoyed as the Dragons laugh some more.
"Heh heh. Spittin' snakes," Applejack laughs as she nudges Rarity a bit. "Some Dragon pulled 'dat there prank on me last month."
"Ha ha ha, I betcha I know who pulled that one on me." Gilda remarks dryly as she gave a suspicious look to Pinkie.
"You do?" Pinkie asks Gilda innocently and happily.
In another part of the room, Fluttershy is directing a group of birds on a ledge in a song while Pinkie brings in a cake with candles on it.
"Cake time, Dragons," Pinkie giggles eagerly.
"Hey, all right if I blow out the candles?" Spike asks eagerly as the baby alicorn jumps up a bit.
"Say, how about we let Gilda blow out the candles, Spike?" Twilight suggests to Gilda thoughtfully, "Since she is the guest of honor."
"Yeah, exactly," Gilda exclaims as she pushes Spike away, her feathers are back in order. Maybe some cake is enough to get her mind off what happened so far.
Gilda took a deep breath and blows out the candles...but looks shocked as they all relight themselves. The Roc tries again but the candles relit themselves once more. Gilda is slightly winded by this...though the Dragons laugh like mad.
As Gilda tries her best to blow out the candles, Spike laughs, "Wow! Relighting birthday candles! That is one awesome prank, I love it! What a classic!"
"Wow, wonder who could've done that?" Rainbow asks with a smile. Gilda finally stop her attempts, now realizing that the candles are relit ones.
"Yeah, I wonder." Gilda remarks in a very snarky tone, giving a suspicious glare to Pinkie.
Just then, Gilda heard gobbling noises, seeing Spike has uses his magic to tunnel into the cake to the point that his pony tail disappears into the hole.
"Who cares? This cake is awesome," Spike, voice muffled by his eating, said. He pops out through the top of the cake, sending frosting and candles all over.
"Spike," Twilight scolds Spike for what he's doing.
"What, it's great, try some!" Spike insists. Gilda is about to lose it, this bit of gluttony is working on her last good nerve big time.
"Hey G, come on, you aren't upset over some silly candles, are ya?" Rainbow asks Gilda with a grin as she came over.
Gilda calms down somewhat as she said, "Nah, no way, Dash! I'm always down with a good prank."
"Good! Let's go and have some cake!" Rainbow exclaims eagerly.
As Rainbow flew over to the cake, Gilda looks upset and it didn't upset that Pinkie is chomping into the cake. The Roc grabs her by the neck and drags her from behind to get some important info to the Worker Dragon.
"Listen, Dragon, I am watching you like a hawk." Gilda said to Pinkie darkly.
"Why? Don't you wanna watch me like a Rock?" Pinkie asks Gilda confused, not sure what the griffin is really meaning to say.
"It's 'Roc', not 'Rock'!" Gilda exclaims about to lose her cool over this topic again.
"Hey y'all, it's time fer Pin 'de Tail on 'de Dragon!" Applejack calls out. Rainbow and Gilda grin broadly as they saw the Worker Dragon with a paper Dragon tail near a drawing of a tailless Dragon hanging on a wall. "Let's play!"
"Oh yes, my favorite game," Rarity exclaims excitedly. "Shall I play first and have the purple tail?"
Gilda, however, leaps over and grabs the tail, snapping, "Let's not forget, I am the guest of honor, the purple tail is mine!"
"Fair enough, Gilda should definitely go first!" Pinkie exclaims happily as Spike took out a blindfold, "Time for you to get blindfolded!"
"Hey, wait!" Gilda protested. Too late as Spike flew upward and tie the blindfold around her eyes before jumping off her back. "What are you doing?"
Pinkie grabs the Roc and spins her around while adding, "Why, we're spinning you around and around so you can pin the tail on the Dragon, Rocky!"
"It's 'Roc', not 'Rock'." Gilda snaps in annoyance to Pinkie, about to lose it at any given moment.
A moment later, Pinkie started guiding Gilda to the picture as she said, "Now go right on ahead and pin the tail."
"'Go right on ahead and pin the tail'." Gilda remarks in a mocking tone of voice, then snort in her normal one. "Right, what do you think I am, stupid? This is another prank! The Roc walks away from the wall. "Ha! I'm heading this way!"
"Gilda, wait!" Pinkie gasps in alarm. "The poster is this..."
Pinkie's warning wasn't finished in time. Gilda's taloned foot step in a splotch of frosting left on the floor, causing the Roc to go skidding and yelling all over the place before she goes right through the doors leading into the kitchen.
The Dragons listen as they heard Gilda crashing that shakes the whole bakery, spotting flour puffing out. Soon the Roc came out, a weary, bleary wreck, smeared with cake and other stuff; The blindfold is gone with the tail hanging on her beak as if like a mustache.
"Err, Gilda, you put the tail on the wrong end." Pinkie points out. Nevertheless, the Dragons laugh a bit at this silly mistake. "Talk about your tail on a Rock!
Needless to say, the round of laughter and her species' name getting wrong again means enough for the luckless Roc. Furiously, she throws off all of the gunk while roaring, hovering above the Dragons.
"FIRST OFF, IT’S ROC, NOT ROCK! AND SECOND, YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD TIME?! I HAVE NEVER MET A LAMER BUNCH OF DWEEB DRAGONS IN ALL MY LIFE!" Gilda roars furiously. She then points at Pinkie, leaning to her. "And Pinkie Pie...you are Queen Lame-o with your weak little party pranks! What, you really think that yours truly would lose my cool?! Think again!"
Twilight looks stunned. Pinkie was right, Gilda is a grump! The Roc lands near Rainbow while adding, "Dash and I are 10 times much cool as the rest of you lame Dragons put together!" Of course, she failed to see her friend's face harden while heading to the door. "Come on, Dash, time we bail on this pathetic scene."
Of course, Rainbow did not move at all. Gilda stops at the door while demanding, "Hey Rainbow Dash! You deaf; I say we're going! Time we leave these lame prank-giving Dragons!"
Needless to say, no one is smiling, not even Pinkie. Rainbow then said sternly, "If you think that these Dragons are lame for giving out 'weak' pranks', well, so am I! I was the one who set them up in the first place!"
"What did you say?!" Gilda asked in shock.
"Ooh!" Pinkie exclaims in surprise. So those pranks were Rainbow Dash's!
"So I guess I'm Queen Lame-o, huh?" Rainbow asks Gilda dryly and upset over her friend's behavior.
"Come on, you are pulling my leg here!" Gilda protests to Rainbow in disbelief.
"FYI, they weren't meant for you specifically!" Rainbow exclaims to her friend sternly. "When you set them off, they were dumb luck!"
"Ha, shoulda known!" Pinkie exclaims while grinning to Spike. "That dribble definitely had Rainbow Dash written all over it...even not literally!"
"That's impossible! P-Pinkie Pie did it! She made a fool out of me by setting up this party!" Gilda insisted. Her own buddy Rainbow couldn't possibly have done those pranks.
"Who, me; Why, I only throw this party in hopes to improve your attitude," Pinkie explains as she somehow turn her own head upside down as if to prove her mind. "I figure a good party might turn that frown of yours upside down."
"Well, you don't need any help in making a fool out of yourself, Gilda! This isn't how I wanted my old friends to treat my new ones." Rainbow said in disappointment. "If all you care about is being cool...then I suggest you find some new and cool friends elsewhere."
Hearing this brought shock and anger to Gilda. She couldn't believe that Rainbow is standing up for those lame dragons, and even being a friend to them!
The Roc snarled before she spread her wings as she said, "Really? Well, you... you... you're such an... a flip-flop! One minute you're cool, the next you're lame." Gilda then walked out the door as she said coldly, "If you ever decided to not be lame anymore, you know who to call."
With that said, she slammed the door, and the cry of an eagle was heard afterwards, marking her departure.
"Not cool." Rainbow said with a frown.
"Talk about your party pooping Rock." Spike comments as the other Dragons agree with him.
"IT'S ROC!" Gilda's voice is heard angrily, much to the confusion of everyone.
"How does she do that?" Spike asks the others in bewilderment.
Rainbow sighs, feeling a bit embarrassed for what Gilda has done. The Storm Dragon said to the other Dragons, "Hey, listen, sorry for bringing Gilda here. Man, I wish I've known before what a jerk she really is. And Pinkie Pie; I'm so sorry that she ruined what an awesome party that you put on for her."
"Awww, if you wanna hang with the party poopers, that's your business, right?" Pinkie asks Rainbow with a smile, assuring her good friend that she isn't upset for Gilda's behavior.
"Eh, I'd rather hang with you. No hard feelings, right?"
"Not a one."
Both Dragons shake claws....and electrocute each other big time, making the crowd laughs. They join in as the two Dragons show that they are wearing a joy buzzer each! What a day!
"Hey Pinkie...sorry of accusing you of misjudging Gilda," Twilight said, feeling a bit guilty for accusing Pinkie for being jealous of Gilda earlier. "Maybe I'm the one who misjudged you instead."
Pinkie with a laugh put an arm around Twilight while saying, "Awww, that's okay, Twilight. Even you can't be super smarty smarty smart-pants all the time, right?" The Worker Dragon flew into the air while speaking to the crowd. "Come on, Dragons, we still got a whole lot of party to finish up!"
Everyone cheers on wildly. Even if the guest of honor Gilda is gone, the Dragons can still enjoy themselves. Twilight smiles a bit, knowing what friendship report to send to Princess Sun Dragon.
"Dearest Princess Sun Dragon....Today I learned that it's hard to accept when someone you like wants to spend time with someone who's not so nice."
Princess Sun Dragon, recovering from the scroll incidents earlier, was relaxing near the fireplace near her bedchamber when a wisp of smoke appears through an air vent, forming into a scroll that unrolls in midair. The princess can see that her student's friendship report has arrived, along with a bottle of ink interestingly.
As Sun Dragon sits on her bed, reading the message, Twilight's friendship report continues, "Though it's impossible to control who your friends hang out with, it is possible to control your own behavior. Just continue to be a good friend. In the end, the difference between a false friend and one who is true will surely come to light."
Princess Sun Dragon smiles as she uses her magic to roll up the scroll and making it float off, bringing in a blank one along with a quill to send a response to her student.
"Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle."
"'Dear Twilight Sparkle, my most faithful student:...'" Princess Sun Dragon said as, after she dips the quill into the ink, she prepares to write. But to her surprise and amusement, the writing suddenly fades away. The label is peeled off the ink bottle. As it turns out, the bottle is the same one that Pinkie and Rainbow pulled on Twilight before. The Royal Dragon chuckles, her student pulled one on her teacher, "Oh; Hee hee; Wrong ink!"
Princess Sun Dragon sighs and chuckles while bringing over another inkwell to start the letter all over again. The princess must make a note to thank Twilight for the laugh...
"Cool! Another awesome one," Rainbow, the pony version, laughs once the show is done back in the real world.
"Yes, kinda the same like here but otherwise, still amazing." Rarity said in agreement.
"Sooooo....who wants to see another AU show," Twilight ask her friends with a smile on her face, wondering if her friends got any other alternate universes to see and stuff.
Pinkie asks, "Hey, here's an idea for an alternate universe. What about one where Dashie and I are unicorns, you and Applejack are Pegasis and Rarity and Fluttershy are Earth ponies? Wouldn't THAT be a good one to see at a later date?"
"Yeah, that would be good at a later date...as long as we don't have to see Gilda the ROCK."
"It's Roc!" An angry familiar voice of Gilda is heard, making the ponies laugh in mischief.
"How does she do that?" Spike the Dragon ask in bewilderment.
