Accepted Apology and True Love
Pinkie Pie was sitting at one of the tables in Sugarcube Corner, trying to enjoy a snack. She was completely alone. It was after-hours and all four of the Cakes were asleep. Pinkie, however, couldn't sleep. She thought it was because she was hungry, which was why she was having snacks at 4:00 in the morning, but that wasn't it. The problem was, she was guilty. She felt sorry for Gilda, Rainbow Dash's griffon friend who was pranked heavily during that party that had happen two weeks ago. Pinkie knew she had nothing to do with the pranks, but she felt like it was her fault, since she was the one who planned the party.
Tears began to roll down Pinkie's face and her mane and tail deflated to its completely straight form. She didn't even bother trying to stop it. The sadness was too strong. Pinkie really wanted to tell Gilda she was sorry, but Gilda never returned to Ponyville since that party, and Pinkie knew she didn't want to come back after what happened. Pinkie wanted to find Gilda, but didn't know where she was. At that point, she was very desperate. The grief and guilt was too much to take. She swallowed her snacks, walked out of Sugarcube Corner, locked the door, and started to walk to the train station. She didn't care how late it was. All she cared about was getting the horrible feelings out of her.
She walked up to the ticket booth.
"One ticket to the Griffon Kingdom, please", she said to Steam Power, the ticket clerk.
"It's pretty late. Can't you wait until tomorrow?", Steam said. Pinkie looked at him with pure anger.
"No! I can't!", she said, "This is important! I have to see a friend!! Give me that ticket!" Steam immediately rang up the price. It was clear that he didn't want to get into a fight.
"Th-that will be two bits, ma'am". Pinkie threw two bits on the counter and snatched the ticket from the dispenser. "Just to inform you, the ride may take at least five hours". Pinkie nodded and got onto the train that was going to the Griffon Kingdom. The train began to move and Pinkie took the car in the very back of the train. She picked a bed and laid down. Pinkie slowly drifted off to sleep, only thinking about what she was going to do when she got to the Kingdom.
Meanwhile at the Griffon Kingdom...
Gilda was in her bedchamber, trying to go to sleep. However, she couldn't. The memories from that party were eating at her, making it hard to ignore. She had never felt so embarrassed in her life, and it was all because of her lifelong, no-longer friend, Rainbow Dash, and her friend, Pinkie Pie.
"Dash", she said, "Why? Why would you do that to me? I thought you were my friend". Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knock on her door.
"Sis?", her older brother, Gilbert, said, "Are you OK? I heard you talking to yourself again".
"I'm fine, Bro", Gilda said back, "Come in". Gilbert opened the door. He was holding what appeared to be vanilla lemon drops, which was Gilda's and Gilbert's favorite candy.
"I got you some lemon drops", he said, "I have a few left over from my birthday, but you can have them" Gilda accepted the candy and put it on the dresser next to her bed. She still had a hard time trusting vanilla lemon drops, after getting a beakful of pepper during that party. Gilbert walked out of his sister's room and closed the door behind him. Gilda popped a lemon drop into her beak. Thankfully, no pepper. Gilda ate her candy and laid back down on her bed. She was still stressed out. She really wished that didn't happen. All she was there for was to hang out with her friend for a while, but ended up getting pranked heavily by her. Gilda rolled over and tried, once again, to get that image out of her head.
9:00 AM...
Pinkie was awakened by the train's whistle blowing. She looked out the window, seeing the Griffon Kingdom. She immediately jumped out of the bed and ran out of the train. It was still midnight-dark outside. This was because the Griffon Kingdom was not part of Equestria, and Day and Night were completely different. If it was Day in Equestria, it was Night in the Griffon Kingdom, and vise versa.
Pinkie started to walk around the Kingdom, trying to find Gilda. However, that wasn't easy. It was very hard to find one particular griffon in a Kingdom that contained over 900 other griffons. Also, to add on to that, many other things were breaking her focus. It was very dark and the only light she was getting was from path-lights. There were also random griffons flying and running around. However, something was really breaking her focus. Griffon diets were completely different from pony diets, since griffons were half-lion. Pinkie saw multiple griffons munching on dead bodies of cows, pigs, goats, and other griffons. Pinkie started to feel sick to her stomach, but focused on her mission. However, she then smelt something awful. She looked over to her left, seeing many griffons using the bathroom in public. This was too much for Pinkie's stomach to take. After creating a small puddle of vomit, she immediately ran away before she ended up puking her guts out.
Once she got past that disgusting experience, she was able to continue her mission. That's when she decided to ask for directions before she saw anything else she didn't want to see. Luckily, a griffon walked up to her.
"Hello, Equestrian pony", it said, "What brings you to the Griffon Kingdom?"
"Hi", Pinkie said, "I'm Pinkie Pie, and I'm here to find someone".
"OK. Who are you looking for?"
"I'm looking for Gilda", Pinkie said. The griffon nearly fainted. It turns out, that griffon was actually Gilbert, Gilda's older brother.
"You're looking for my sister?".
"Gilda is your sister?"
"Yes. I'm Gilbert, the King of the Griffons, and when I fall, or die, she will rule the griffons. Anyway, why do you want to find her?"
"It's kinda personal".
"Oh, OK. Follow me and I'll lead you", Gilbert said. Pinkie nodded and the two walked to the Griffon Castle.

The walk would have taken about 10 minutes, but it took about 45 minutes. Gilbert had stopped twice. Once for something to eat, and another to use the bathroom. Also, they had to stop when Pinkie puked her guts out, seeing Gilbert eat meat and use the bathroom in front of her. Also, Pinkie, once again, had to walk through the "waste removal fields" to get to the Castle and stepped in something, making her puke again. After Gilbert showed Pinkie a river and Pinkie washed the taste of vomit out of her mouth, they finally reached the Castle.
Once they went into the Castle, Gilbert pressed a speaker button on the side of his throne.
"Little Sis", he said. A few seconds later, a beeping sound was heard and Gilda talked back through.
"What's up, Bro?", she said.
"I have a pony from Equestria who wishes to see you".
"Who is it?"
"Her name is Pinkie Pie".
"What?! I don't want to talk to her!".
"Why not?"
"I just don't! Now leave me alone!".
Gilbert turned off the speaker and looked at Pinkie, who had a sad look on her face.
"Why doesn't she want to talk to you? Did you do something to her?", Gilbert asked.
"No".
"Then, why doesn't she want to talk?", Gilbert asked. Pinkie took a deep breath.
"Well, did she ever tell you about a party in Ponyville?", Pinkie asked. Gilbert nodded. "Well, I was the pony who planned the party".
"You mean, you're the one who pranked her?"
"No. My friend, Rainbow Dash, was the pranker. I was the one who just planned the party. I think she doesn't want to see me because she is still mad at me".
"Well, do you want to go see her?"
"Umm... I don't know. What if she tries to hurt me?"
"Oh, don't worry. She isn't allowed to attack a guest unless they attack first".
"OK, and sure. I'll go see her", Pinkie said. Gilbert nodded and walked her to Gilda's bedchamber. Gilbert knocked on the door.
"Who is it?", Gilda said.
"It's me, Sis", Gilbert said.
"Enter", Gilda said. Gilbert opened the door and Pinkie walked in. Gilda immediately noticed Pinkie. She turned to her older brother. "Why is she here?!"
"Because she wants to see you. You remember the rule Father made. If a guest wishes it see a royal, they must have their way".
Gilda growled and looked at Pinkie with a look of pure anger. "Why do you want to see me after what you did?!"
"I didn't do anything, Gilda! All I did was try to do something nice for you!", Pinkie said. Gilbert really didn't want to get involved in the moment, so he left and closed the door. Both Pinkie and Gilda argued for a long time.
"Do you know how embarrassed I was?!", Gilda said, "You and your little friend, Rainbow Dash, embarrassed me!"
"All I did was try to do something nice for you! You looked like something was weighing you down, so I decided to throw a party for you to make you feel better!"
"Well, you know what was weighing me down?! YOU!!! If you never would've shown your face to me, Rainbow Dash and I would've been alright. But no! You had to ruin everything! I wish I'd never met you!"
Pinkie was heartbroken after hearing this. Her mane and tail deflated again. "Well, if I wanted to mess with you, would I come here to try to apologize to you?! To make you feel better?! To tell you that I love you?!"
"Well, you didn't have to-! Wait. You love me?!", Gilda said. Pinkie realized what she just said.
"I... I..." She used her mane to hide her face. She knew that Gilda was going to seriously hate her. "Yes! I love you, Gilda! I wanted to tell you that, but then you just ignored me! That's why I came here. Do you know how long it took me to find you?! I had to walk through messy paths, watch griffons eat meat, and I stepped in something I really don't want to talk about. I threw up like six times, and I had to get help from your brother. If I didn't like you, would I go through all that to find you to apologize to you? I LOVE YOU, GILDA!!!!". Pinkie waited for Gilda's reaction. However, she heard a sniffling sound. She looked past her mane, seeing Gilda crying into her pillow. Pinkie was very concerned. She stood up and walked over to Gilda.
"Gilda?", Pinkie said. Gilda looked up at Pinkie.
"Sit down, please!", Gilda said. Pinkie sat down next to Gilda. Pinkie was expecting a very long talk, but instead, Gilda threw her front legs around Pinkie, hugging her tight. Pinkie's eyes went big. Gilda began to cry into Pinkie's coat.
"G-Gilda?", Pinkie said, "Are you OK?"
"Pinkie Pie", Gilda said, her face still buried in Pinkie's coat, "I didn't know you felt that way about me. Why?"
"Because, I just love you. I couldn't stand to see you so angry, which is why I arranged the party for you", Pinkie said. Gilda was speechless. "Gilda, please look at me". Gilda looked up at Pinkie and Pinkie wiped the flowing tears from Gilda's face. But, staring into Gilda's eyes, very wet with tears. They were so beautiful. At that point, Pinkie began to get an urge. It was too strong to resist. Pinkie couldn't help doing what she did next.
"I'm so sorry, Gilda".
"What?"
Her question was answered when Pinkie brought her muzzle to her beak, locking in a major kiss. Gilda's eyes went big. Pinkie was actually kissing her. Gilda didn't pull away. She didn't want to. She felt so warm and bubbly inside. Gilda didn't want to end the kiss too early, so she used her eagle claw to pet the back of Pinkie's mane. Pinkie felt Gilda's claw lightly scratching her neck. It felt so good. The two continued their massive kiss for about two minutes. They would've continued longer, but Gilbert had opened the door. Gilbert chuckled lightly and thought it would be funny to tease Gilda.
"Aww", he said, "Does little Gilda have a marefriend?"
"Shut up, Gilbert", Gilda said.
"I can't. You two are so adorable together".
"Shut up, Gilbert!"
"Gilda and Pinkie, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G".
"SHUT UP GILBERT BEFORE I CLAW YOUR BUCKING EYES OUT!!!!!!!!!", Gilda yelled to Gilbert.
"OK, OK! Just yanking your chain. Anyway, I'm going to bed". Gilbert walked out of Gilda's bedchamber and closed the door. Gilda looked Pinkie in the eye.
"Umm... Pinks", she said.
"Yes, Gilda?", Pinkie said.
"Can you stay here with me tonight?"
"Sure", Pinkie said. Gilda smiled. The two then yawned loudly.
"Look's like we need some sleep. You can sleep in my bed with me".
"OK. Thanks, Gilda".
"No prob, Pinks. OK, let's get some sleep", Gilda said. Gilda and Pinkie got into the bed.
"Umm... Gilda?"
"Yes, Pinkie?"
"Can I... cuddle with you?", Pinkie asked. Gilda smiled and nodded. Pinkie moved over and snuggled into Gilda's coat.
"Comfy?", Gilda asked. Pinkie nodded.
"Goodnight, Gilda. I love you".
"Goodnight, Pinkie Pie. I love you too".
The two fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
