Reign of Two Minds

"Moonstone...Moonstone...wake up!"

Moonstone? Wha...that's not my name...is it?

"Moonstone? You gotta wake up, we're almost at Canterlot!"

Canterlot..but...that's not a real place..that's a setting in a TV show!

Then things flow back to me. Like a unfinished tapestry, some parts were missing.

Me. Standing in front of a counter. A lady in front of me. She gives me a stern look.

Suddenly, her eyes flash red. "You...cursed...forever.." Those were the only words I could make out. Cursed? What? I'm so confused..

That's when the memories fade. The darkness fades to white. Then the white melts away to reveal a train. Two ponies are standing in front of me.

Wait, ponies?! I have got to be dreaming.

The first was a mare. Her coat was pearly white, almost like a pearl itself, and her mane was rose red. Her eyes was as blue as the night sky. She was wearing a huge layered dress of many colors and patterns. She looked worried.

The second was a stallion, dark blue with a brown mane. His eyes were so black that it was like a void. He also looked worried.

"You're awake! What were you doing? You looked dazed like something was abnormally wrong with you, and then suddenly you fall asleep!"

"Uh...I'm, uhm, uh..sorry! Sorry mom! Sorry dad! .' I had no idea why I even let anything out of my mouth. I just opened my mouth and words spilled out. Uncontrollably.

Whatever and wherever I am, its not going to be easy to get used to.
