The time Bonbon stayed at Lyra’s place.

It was sometime in the afternoon. Lyra was sitting in the park, waiting for Bonbon to arrive so they can have their usual chat. Bonbon came to their spot, happy as usual. But something about her today looked...sad. Bonbon sat down next to Lyra. When she sat down, Lyra noticed that something was a bit of in Bonbon’s composure. She decided to leave it alone for now.

“Hey Bonbon. How was your day?” Bonbon ears went down a tiny bit when Lyra asked that question.

“Well...It was ok I guess.” Lyra looked confused.

“You guess it was your day? How do you not know how you're day went? How do you guess it was okay?” Bonbon’s fake happiness was starting to fall apart.

“My day was okay. What about you’re day?” Lyra could tell Bonbon wasn’t fine.

“Is something wrong, Bonbon?”.Bonbon looked to Lyra, her happy demeanor fading.

“N-no… everything’s fine, Lyra…” Bonbon tryed her best to smile trying to convince Lyra she was happy. Lyra wasn’t impressed.

“Bonbon, we’ve known each other for almost a year. Its pretty obvious when you’re lying.” The candy mare’s fake smile soon disappeared.

“Ok everything isn’t all right.” The mint green mare looked at Bonbon, curiosity in her eyes.

“So what’s wrong?” Bonbon sighed she didn't want to talk about it.

"Its my shop. An inspector came by today and said my shop wasn't up to code." The candy mare explained with a little bit of annoyance in her voice.

Lyra looked at the candy mare with a bit of confusion in her eyes. "Whats not up to code?"

Bonbon's face turned a bit angry having to recall the visit of the inspector. "Well he had the nerve to say my oven was outdated."

Lyra looked back at Bonbon a bit shocked that she was so mad about her oven. "Isn't that the oven you complained about all the time?" The candy mare rolled her eyes a little not really wanting to talk about her stupid outdated oven. Lyra could see her annoyance and decided to try and steer what they were talking about in a different direction. "So uh...where are you gonna be staying while your place gets fixed up?"

The pink and blue maned mare looked to her friend with a sigh. "Im not exactly sure. I was thinking about staying with my parents but there on vacation until next week. So I don't know where I'm gonna stay."

As her friend was explaining her situation Lyra suddenly had a great idea. "You can stay at my place!" Lyra was sitting up straight with ears straight up in the air and a giant smile on her face.

Bonbon looked a bit shocked that her friend would do that for her. "You really mean that? You would do that for me?"

The white maned mare looked at her best friend a bit thrown off that she was so surprised. "Of course I would. Your my best friend it would be a pleasure to let you stay at my place."

Bonbon didn't know what to say. Sure she was friends with Lyra but she never thought Lyra would offer her a place to stay. "I...thank you SO much Lyra. Ill get all my stuff and be over around dinner time."

Before Lyra could respond Bonbon was off to go and gather her things. Lyra let out a chuckle. "Such a silly mare." Lyra left for her house to prepare for the night.
