Chapters Chatper 1: It Begins
Hi there. My name is Journal Seeker. My life is...a weird life to say the least. Adventurous, yes, but...it's dangerous. Not just for me, but for my family and everyone I love...Not that I have to care about my family, they're already dead.
I'm going to tell you the story about my life in Equestria. How I came to be a pony and how I came to be a human...Not human.

Equestria.
I always wished it was real. The ponies, the unicorns, the pegasi....everything. I joined in on the brony conversations, went to the conventions, and read the fanfictions. I was a brony by heart, but there was always something weird with me.
I wouldn't go to sleep until near midnight, thinking about ponies. And even weirder is that I dream about ponies.
This all started when I joined the fandom, somewhere after season three finished. I just shrugged it off as me just being an awesome brony. It didn't get too serious until I started reading fanfictions about Humans in Equestria. That's when I started to dream I was a pony.
I never thought about it much, but my thoughts would always drift onto my dreams. Why was I dreaming about that? I always ask myself. It made no sense. I shouldn't be that obsessed with ponies. All I do that's pony related was wake up at 7:30 A.M on Saturday to watch the new episode of MLP and read fanfiction. I'm not obsessed with ponies.
But why do I dream I'm a pony?
I had no answer to that question. No answer until one faithful day. A day that changed my life dramatically. A day I wished never happened.
It started like any other day. I wake up, get dressed, brush my teeth and other things. I eat a quick breakfast and get my backpack and walk out of the house and off to school.
As I walked down the sidewalk to my school, I noticed that the streets were empty. It was almost normal. I usually wake up really early and there were only a few cars on the streets, but today there were none, which was odd because there was always a few cars on the street. Always.
What worried me more was that I was the only one on the sidewalk. Maybe I should have asked one of my friends to walk with me to school because it was too quiet.
I stopped in mid-step and looked around. No one. It was way too quiet. It reminded me of one of those psycho killer movies. The person is alone and all is quiet before the killer pops up and stabs the person.
I turned my head back forward so I could start walking, when I came face to face with a pink skinned, blue eyed, girl who oddly had pink curly hair. I would have been scared shitless if the face didn't remind me of someone, but I screamed anyway.
"AHH!!" And that was me screaming like a little girl. Which is funny because I'm sixteen.
"Oh sorry. I didn't mean to scare you hehe," The stranger said back to me, but I continued to scream like a little girl. I screamed for a few minutes before I calmed down enough to look at the stranger.
"Who are you?!" I knew the answer to that question but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Long story short, I didn't know the answer.
"Oh you silly filly. I'm Pinkie Pie!" The stranger exclaimed with a wide smile.
Pinkie Pie?! No that can't be right! Pinkie Pie is NOT real. But the fact that she was right in front of me says otherwise. What did she break the forth-wall or something?
"Actually, yes I did," Pinkie said her smile growing bigger. How was that even possible?
"Well that would-." I stopped mid-sentence as I took in the fact that Pinkie read my mind. Pinkie read my mind. "Wait! How'd you do that?!"
"Do what?" I swear on Luna's gorgeous flank that she was playing with me. I really do.
"Okay, okay. First off, how are you on earth? And second, what are you doing on earth?"
"Well silly filly, I rather random as you know and I can travel though the multiverse far better than that Doctor pony and it just so happens earth and Equestria are rather close. As for the second one...You'll find out soon." Pinkie's smile had turned into a smirk. Wait what? That can't be right. Pinkie never smirks. She only smiles and frowns. Well not only but still. Something was very, very wrong.
"What do-." I never got to finish my sentence when something hard and heavy fell on my head. In the next moment I was out cold. Pinkie has come to my world, can travel through the multiverse, and dropped something heavy on my head. What had I gotten involved in?

I groaned. My head hurt like I was hit with a brick, which I probably was. I opened my eyes slowly so I wouldn't get blinded by the sunlight. It was dark. Wait that's not right. I opened my eye wide as I stared up at the sky. Stars. There were stars. A realization hit me. It was nighttime! How long have I been out?
I quickly sat up. My arms and legs felt...weird. I really hope that brick didn't fall on my legs and bruise me. I looked down and my legs. My eyes widened at what I saw. Hooves. Thank you moonlight! I don't know what I would have done without you! I was being sarcastic by the way.
I started hyperventilating. This is not possible! I can't have hooves! I kept telling myself that, but the fact that they were right in front of my face was not helping one bit.
"Okay calm down. I'll figure this out. I just need to calm down." I told myself as I looked around where I was. You would have guessed that Pinkie would drag me some where safe right? Wrong! All I could see were trees and the fact that I was in a clearing of sorts. I was in a forest. Fan-diddly-tastic!
"Ugh! Wait...What is that feeling on my back," I asked myself as I looked at my back. And would you guess what I found? Wings. I am an actual Pegasister now. Great. What could possibly happen now!? And just as I thought that, guess what? I heard growling.
Oh god. Luna! Celestia! I love you both! Just please not let that be timber-wolves! Please! I didn't even have time to look over my pony body! Not that I really care about that last one.
The growling got louder and my mind was racing. I can't run! I don't know how to run with these pony legs! Why me?! What did I ever do?! Nothing other than be a brony by heart.
Unsuprisingly, I could see the silhouette of three wolf like creatures. I knew exactly what they were. I wsh you would rot in hell timber-wolves...I really do.
All three timber-wolves jumped at me. I threw my...forelegs up over my face and closed my eyes, waiting to my demise...Nothing happened. I even dared to open one of my eyes.
What I saw shocked me. There is the darkness of the night I saw the silhouette of a pony fighting off the timber-wolves. I watched with shock and fear. Shock because there was another pony here in the Everfree and fear for the pony who had just saved me might get really hurt of die. Hell, I was even feeling a little bit amazed.
The pony opened his leathery wings and launched himself at one of the timber-wolves. The timber-wolf and the pony both rolled a few feet closer to me. The pony stomped his hooves until the timber-wolf was a pile of wood.
"Well don't just sit there Miss. Journal! Run," The pony shouted at me.
I blinked and remembered my situation. I quickly got up on my hooves and turn head over tail, running...or would it be galloping? Anyway, I was running for my life. The fact that I was running with these pony legs slipped my mind as I ran. I just kept running and running, not looking back at the pony who saved me.
I easily ran out of the clearing and into the forest. Was running into the forest the best idea? I asked myself as I kept running. A few minutes later and I found a dirt path. I decided to follow the path and hope it lead me out of the forest.
I kept running until I collapsed. I laid there on the dirt path, breathing heavily. Who saved me? Better question why did he call me Journal? I thought about thoses questions as I laid on the ground. I laid there for what felt like hours, but it could have been minutes, until I heard hoof-steps.
I closed my eyes, not caring. This is all just a dream. I will wake up and find that I slept in. Yeah. That's right. I'm still on earth and not in Equestria. I told myself as I laid there. I told myself over and over, but I couldn't get rid of the feeling that this is real and that I really was in Equestria. A few minutes, or seconds, past and I fell into a dreamless slumber.
Chapter 2: The Dreams
"Timber-wolves? Oh my," I heard a voice say. It was clearly female and it was soft almost like a whisper.
I had been coming in and out of consciousness and heard the same soft voice talk to a few other voices. My head still hurt and my left leg was sore. I didn't know why my leg was sore, but it was.
"Yeah. I thought Miss. Pie said I could easily get Journal and get out of the Everfree. Well it was going to be easy, but then the timber-wolves attacked. I'm just glad Miss. Journal is alright," I heard another voice say. A male and he almost sounded like a gentlemen. "Wait, Miss. Journal is going to be alright right?"
"Yes. I'm sure she will be fine...Um...Would you like something to drink," The soft voice asked.
"No, no. I'm fine Miss. Fluttershy." The gentlemen said.
Wait what? Fluttershy? That can't be-. I stopped myself as I remembered what happened. Pinkie Pie, the timber-wolves, the pony saving me, and me collapsing. Oh my god. It's Fluttershy! Omigoshomigoshomigosh! If only my eyes would open. And if only I wasn't covered in bandages and other medical things.
What happened? Why was I so scratched up? Why did Pinkie turn me into a pony? Yes why indeed. I was going to get answers once I fully wake up.
"Moon Chaser? Um...Are you sure your alright? You look pretty scratched up," Fluttershy said, concern clear in her voice.
"Yes, yes. I'm quiet alright Miss. Fluttershy," The gentlemen, or colt, said. Moon Chaser I presume.
"I could...um...check you if you want, but you don't have to."
"I guess I'm a bit scratched up. Alright, you can look me over Miss. Fluttershy." There was a faint thud and hoof-steps. Man, if only my body would do what my brain wanted it to do.
Knock-knock There was a knock at the front door.
"Oh. I'll be back in just a second. Would you...um...mind watching Journal," Fluttershy asked.
"You can count on me Miss. Fluttershy." And with that I heard hoof-steps and the door opening only to be closed seconds later.
"My head hurts," I felt myself say all of a sudden.
"Hu? Oh you’re awake Miss. Journal. Are you alright? Can I get you anything," Moon Chaser asked me as my eyes opened.
I was staring at the ceiling. It was a was a wooden ceiling with a support beam. I turned my head to the side. There was a bedside desk next to the bed I was in. Wait. When was I in a bed? I groaned.
"My head hurts," I repeated my previous statement to Moon Chaser.
"Do you want me to get Miss. Fluttershy," Moon Chaser asked me. I still didn't know what he looked like. My head just happened to turn the opposite direction he was sitting in.
"No, no. I think I'll be fine. What happened," I asked turning my head to the right. This time I could see him. He was a bat-pony. A grey coat and black mane. Just like every other bat-pony I’ve seen on the forums and threads. His eyes were different though. He had normal pony eyes that were dark blue and his cutie mark was a moon and a checkered flag. He looked to be in his early twenties.
"Oh well...You were attacked by timber-wolves and I saved you Miss. Journal. I told you to run and you did. I was right behind you but lost track of where you went when I was attacked by another timber-wolf. I think Miss. Fluttershy found you but you were scratched up pretty badly and had bite-marks on your left hind-leg." Moon Chaser grimaced as he told me what happened. That answered so much, now onto another question.
"Why do you keep calling me Journal," I asked, sleepiness was trying to claim me again.
"What do you mean? That is your name isn't it? Journal Seeker," Moon Chaser asked with a raised eyebrow and a bit of hostility.
"I...don't know." I closed my eyes just as Fluttershy walked in with five other ponies.
"Moon Chaser were you just talking to Journal?" That was the last thing I heard Fluttershy ask as I fell asleep again.

I was facing a large double door that had a carving of the moon and sun on it. I was feeling a bit of fear as well as hopelessness. I felt myself sigh as I pushed open the right door, the one with the moon on it.
I was greeted with the sight of Princess Celestia sitting on the throne with a quill and parchment held in her magic and she was writing something. She looked up from what she was doing and looked at me.
"Yes, Journal Seeker? What is it," She asked me with her normal calm and warming face.
"I have terrible news to report Princess," I felt myself say.
"What may that be?" Her warming face changing to a look of concern.
"Hollow Shades was set on fire and the Griffins will be here soon. What do we do Princess?"
“Hollow Shades was set on fire? Oh my. How many loses did we have?”
“I’m not sure yet Princess. We are still sorting the bodies but some are just too charred and burnt.”
"And when will the griffins be here?"
"Nightfall."
"That's not good. Can you please go wake Luna and tell her to prepare her lunar guards? We have to be ready for the battle ahead. I don't like bloodshed but it is the only way. I will go get my solar guards ready. You are excused Journal."
"Princess, is it really the only way," I asked her as she got up from her throne and walked down the steps.
"I wish there was another way Journal. I really do. I can't think of how many lives will be lost tonight. I only wish my little ponies were at least dying for something more."
I looked at Princess Celestia with a tearful look. "If only we could have stop this sooner." I muttered before giving Princess Celestia a quick bow and turning to leaving the throne room.
"And Journal."
"Yes?" I looked over my shoulder to look at Princess Celestia.
"Can you ask Twilight Sparkle and her friends to come to Canterlot?"
"As you wish Princess." I turned back and trotted out of the throne room.
I opened my eyes and saw the same wooden roof with a support beam. What the hell was that dream about? I asked myself as I looked around the room. No Fluttershy or Moon Chaser. I really wished that my dream was really just a dream. I fell back in bed and drifted off to sleep once more. This was too much to process. Maybe I can ask my questions when I wake up.

I laid on the ground, my eyes closed. I felt something warm flow from my side and I was breathing heavily. "You wont win. I wont let you," I said quietly, almost a whisper.
"Hahaha! As if. What can you, a weakling, do to me? Hahaha," A voice said somewhere in front of me. "If you haven't noticed you are bleeding on the ground and I am still up and well. Ahahaha!" That laugh sounded more menacing and evil each time.
I opened my eyes and saw a yellow unicorn stallion in front of me. He had a teal mane and blood red eyes. He was smiling wickedly at me. "I wont let you!" It took most of my strength to shout at him. I gasped for air.
"Noble last words Miss. Journal. Once I'm done with you I'm going after Luna and Celestia. Then Equestria will be mine. Hahaha! See you in Tartarus," The stallion shouted at me before raising a sword and bring it down, aiming to kill me.
Somepony wouldn't let him though. There in front of me, blocking the sword, was a bat-pony. His cutie mark a moon and checkered flag. Moon Chaser. "Gah! Not if I have a word in this!" He was bleeding where the sword stuck him. Raising his own sword, he swung at the unicorn.
The unicorn jumped back at the last second. "Grrr. You! I though the griffins took care of you! Lousy griffins. I'll deal with you myself then." He raised his sword and brought it down on Moon Chaser.
Moon Chaser moved swiftly out of the way. "Shit." I heard him mutter as he opened his wings and took to the air. He was still bleeding from where the sword hit him. He either didn't notice the pain or didn't care.
"Oh no you don't! This is going to be a fair fight." The unicorn grabbed Moon Chaser's tail in his magic and pulled his back down to the ground. I noticed his magic was red like his eyes.
"Oof!" Moon Chaser laid there on the ground, moaning in pain. "Fuck you Dusk."

Chapter 3: Explanations
I woke up to the sound of wood breaking along with the sound of two metal objects clashing with each other. I groaned as I opened my eyes. The same wooden ceiling with a support beam. I turned my head to the right. The door was opened.
"Ugh. Who could be making all that noise. Welp. Time to find out," I said to myself as I threw the covers off of me and jumped out of the bed. I got to thank Fluttershy for letting me stay in her bed. Wait...Why am I not freaking out that I'm in Equestria? I thought as I made my way to the door.
There was a loud Bang downstairs. "You sure have been practicing." I heard a familiar voice say. Who was that talking again? And who is he talking too?
I scratched the back of my head as I left to room and went down the stairs. When I got to the base of the stairs, my eyes widened. "What the hell is going on here," I asked as I watched a bat-pony sword fighting a unicorn stallion. The stallion had a midnight blue coat and a red mane.
They both stopped and turned to look at me. I blinked and they blinked. Who was that bat-pony again? I opened my mouth to say something, but I never got the chance. "Run, Miss. Journal!" The bat-pony shouted at me before turning back to the unicorn and headbutted him. How did he do that without poking his eye out? I just kept watching the two brawl it out.
"That's the pony I'v been looking for? Ha! She's useless. How can she be the one we is able to change the faith of Equestria?" The unicorn asked, recovering from the headbutt.
"Um...Who are you again," I asked.
"Who me or him," The unicorn asked, turning towards me. The bat-pony took that moment of distraction to pick sword up off the ground and stab the unicorn in the side. "Agh."
"Thank you for that brief distraction, Miss. Journal." The bat-pony said to me, giving me a smile.
"They'll find you...and when they do...you won't be able to run," The unicorn said before going limp on the floor bleeding out.
"They? Who's they? Alright you." I turned towards Moon Chaser. "Tell me what's going on and why you keep calling me Journal."
He looked hostile towards me for a moment before softening his gaze. "You really don't remember anything do you, Miss. Journal."
"Remember what? Who are you?"
"She said this would happen, she said you would forget. No, I didn't believe her, but here you are not remembering anything," He mumbled to himself. "Okay, look. I don't know what Miss. Pie did to make you not remember who you are but you are Journal Seeker. You a very special mare. I don't know what makes you so special, but you are and I was told to guard you with my life. Also I'm Moon Chaser." He explained as much as he knew.
"I am not a pony."
"What now?"
"I'm not a pony," I repeated. "I am a human. I am a brony and this is all just a dream that I will wake up from any moment." I turned and trotted back up the stairs.
"Miss. Journal I think you should wait for Miss. Pie and the others to come back. You've been asleep much longer than any of us expected," He said, following me.
I stopped. Pinkie Pie...She'll know what happen. "Okay fine, but who is that and why did he say they?" I motioned towards the now dead unicorn.
"He was a friend, but now he's just a traitor to the throne. As for why he said they...He is part of the Resistance. A group of ponies, griffins, zebras, buffaloes and so on. They think that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are just no good, lying alicorns. Then when Princess Twilight Sparkle became an alicorn they started a civil war. Most of the griffin kingdom are siding with them." He grimaced a little.
We stood there on the stairs for a moment before I trotted back down. Stepping over the dead pony I made my way over to the couch with Moon Chaser following me. I sat down on the couch, Moon Chaser sitting a bit too close to me.
"What do I have to do with this," I finally asked, looking at him with a sad look.
"I don't know. I'm just your guard. I don't know anything. They never tell me anything."
Just then the front door slammed open. In the door way stood six clocked figures. "Moon Chaser we're back." One of the clocked figures said. The figure was clearly female.
"Princess Twilight Sparkle, welcome back. How was your trip out," He asked with a hopeful smile.
"Bad." She said making her way inside the house, followed by the other 5 figures. She looked at the dead pony then back at Moon Chaser. "Looks like we had a guest. The Resistance found us didn't they?" Moon Chaser nodded, grimly. Twilight sighed. "How was your sleep Journal," She asked addressing me.
I blinked. "Um...Good. Can someone explain to be how I'm a pony?" I said randomly.
"Oh,oh. Me! Pick me!" One of the cloaked figures said, raising a ping hoof. I raised an eyebrow but nodded towards who I presumed to be Pinkie Pie. "That Doctor pony and future me brought you back here where you can help save Equestria and help bring back harmony." She pulled the hood of her clock back reveling a wide grin.
"Back? Why did you say back? I'v never been in Equestria before," I said to Pinkie. I blinked and in the next moment she was right in my face, our muzzles mere inches from touching.
"Well you silly filly. You were never really a human. You were a pony, but me and that doctor pony took you to earth and made you think you were a human to protect you."
"I was never a human? That's a lie," I shouted at Pinkie. "I'm a human and The Doctor is not real!" I moved around Pinkie and galloped towards the stairs. I would have ran up to Fluttershy's room and locked myself in there is I hadn't slipped on the pool of blood the dead pony left. "Whoa!" My back and mane were soaked in the blood. "It got in my mouth! Ack!" I started to cry. "It's not true. I'm a human and this is just a dream." I closed my eyes and wept.
I heard someone sigh. "Pinkie...You were suppose to be subtle." I heard Twilight say.
"Come on Twi. You know just as well as us that there is no way to be subtle right now! The Resistance has found us. Let's go kick their sorry little flanks." I was pretty sure that was Rainbow Dash.
Some one trotted up to me. I didn't open my eyes to look. I was just sobbing. My whole life a lie. This is not true. I really wanted to wish this was not real. That I'm just a crazy girl who like ponies.
"Miss. Journal maybe you should clean yourself up. I'm sure Miss. Pie and the others will figure out a plan when your done." I heard the gentlecolt voice of Moon Chaser say.
"O-okay." I opened my eyes and saw he was smiling down at me. I smiled back. "Thank you Moon Chaser. I just wish everything can be explained to me. Who I am you know?" He nodded. I rolled over onto my hooves and stood up. "Your too kind Moon Chaser." I told him before walking up the stairs to where I thought was the shower.
