Chapter 2

Slowly SilverScales sat up looking around the room he was given by Twilight to sleep in well the princesses looked into the scientists that he told them about he found it weird waking up in a comfortable bed he got up off the bed stretching out his wings then sat back down on the bed finding himself lost in thought thinking back to the last day, the talk he had with the princesses and the others that had found him in the old castle. “How did I get talked into living with Twilight again?” He sat there thinking harder on it he then realized that it was because of the sad face he saw on Fluttershy, he then thought about why it seemed he felt so moved by her first the hug then this maybe it was her mannerisms she didn’t say much to him but he felt compelled to comply with whatever she wanted him to do from letting her hug him to living with Twilight.

“Hey are you awake Silver,” Twilight asked knocking on the door to his room.

He shook his head clearing his mind. “Huh oh yeah I’m awake.” He said just loud enough for her to hear him he then got up going to the door and opens it looking at her. “What is it Twilight.”

“Spike made breakfast if you’re hungry.” She blushed as she saw him suddenly open the door as he was not wearing his cloak and she could see his bare chest as he apparently didn’t have a shirt on under his cloak.

“Thank you Twilight but you really don’t need to feed me I don’t want to be a burden on you, after all, you are the student of Celestia that’s is a heavy enough burden to bear but thank you really.” He smiled trying hard to not be offensive to her. “You and spike eat I’ll be fine.”

“Um ok, but we should go to Rarity’s so we can get you more clothes.” She blushed at his compliments telling him more than asking hoping he will understand.

“Yeah, your right I should get some more clothes since I’m going to be living in your house with you. You’re going to have to lead me where I have never been in this town before.” He said looking at Twilight nodding along going over and getting his cloak on giving her a brief look at his scared up back he put on his sunglasses and looked back at her and walks to her.

“Okay let’s have breakfast then I’ll take you to Rarity’s house to get clothes made for you.” Twilight lead Silver to the Dining room and sat down gesturing for him to sit down as well.

“Okay, I’ll eat with you if you insist.” Silver sat down and looked at the plate of pancakes in front of him before taking a bite out of them putting nothing on them.

“You know, there better with syrup and butter on them,” Spike said startling Silver who jolted lightly not noticing him standing in the room. “Wow sorry didn’t mean to startle you pal your Silver Scales right?”

“Y-Yeah that’s me I’m Silvers Scales and you must be Spike right?” Silver smiled looking at the little dragon holding out his hand out to Spike.

“Yeah, that’s me nice to meet you,” Spike said shaking Silvers' hand then sat down and started eating the pancakes.

“Well nice to see that both of you are already able to get along,” Twilight said looking over at them both and Spike smiles warmly well Silver nodded and gets up having finished his food and goes to the main room to wait for twilight to finish.

“Twilight he doesn’t seem to be as bad as you made him out to be I got the sense he has been through a lot that he still holds in his heart but then again I’m no expert on that stuff I get the feeling that way you said Fluttershy hugged him she probably felt the same thing from him as I do,” Spike said looking at Twilight with a mouth full of pancakes.

“Yeah, your probably right about that Spike but even still the things he said and how he said them it makes me feel like we can’t trust him at least not completely not yet,” Twilight said using magic to put her plate in the sink and goes to the main room before heading out with Silver to Rarity’s home.

Silver looked around at all the ponies that looked at him some glaring at him having already heard about what he said to the princesses from Pinkie. “Can I help any of you, if you have something to say about me then say it to my face!” Silver yelled looking at every one well pulling off the hood of his cloak making most of the ponies look away as he was walking faster to Rarity’s making Twilight pick up the pace.

“Silver wait up and calm down you shouldn’t take their actions, after all, you’re new and they know nothing of you at all think about it from there perspective all they know is that you threatened Celestia,” Twilight said trying to make Silver calm down and stop for a second.

“So you think it’s justified for them to treat me like a freak without them getting to know me first right.” He stopped and looked back at twilight making her look away then she sighed. “I thought so even if I am new there’s no reason for their action.”

“Yes I agree it’s not right but you have to agree people do horrible things when they’re scared for their loved one's safety and their own,” Twilight said before leading Silver into Rarity’s home.

“Oh hello, Twilight and Silver what brings you both here?” Rarity asked seeing Twilight and Silver walk in.

“Well, Silver needs some clothes because he doesn’t have any shirts and this is his only outfit,” Twilight said gesturing to Silver which made rarity gasp out.

“Really, darling you need more than one outfit come let me get your measurements then I and you can go over some design ideas okay Silver?” Rarity asked looking at silver well leading him to a small stand and starts measuring him.

"Okay, I'll do what I can to repay you for this miss Rarity," Dusk said as he opened his wings and held out his arms so she could get his measurements. "Oh just make sure to have some way to hide my wings please I don't want anyone to be able to see them."

"Oh, why darling your scales are so lovely to look at in the light with how they seem to glisten in the light?" Rarity asked cocking one of her eyebrows looking at the measuring tape she held against him well measuring his arms wings and legs.

"Because there unnatural and I didn't even want them." Silver snapped at Rarity before catching himself and looking away. "I'm sorry Rarity I shouldn't have snapped at you like that."

"Oh, its alright Silver I didn't mean to touch such a sensitive subject for you." Rarity said taken aback by the sudden outburst from Silver before getting back to taking his measurements finishing on his chest well-having Silver breath.

"it's still not right for me to snap at you like that for such a comment since you did mean it as a compliment." Silver said looking into Rarity's eyes before blushing and looking away. "Oh, and no I have one idea for outfits designs sorry."

"Oh, I'ts okay Silver." Rarity said looking up into his eyes before he turned away blushing as she did the same not realizing how close they are as she takes a step back from him. "Okay, I'll come and get you when I have some design ideas drawn up that you can pick from Okay?"

"Y-Yeah I'll come by after a bit to pick out some with you." Silver says hopping off the stage and returns to Twilight so they can head out now heading to Sweet apple achers.

Rarity watched them leave waving goodbye as they left her shop before musing to her self. "He can be quite handsome when he wants he just need to learn to relax." before heading back into her shop to start her work.
