Equestria is in conflict.
The Elites, tall people with brown fur, black manes, and pure white eyes, have attacked Equestria. Not much is known other than that. So can they all be bad? Are they all bad? Has the government just tried to make it look that way, in an attempt to instill fear?
Either way, things are looking down.
Turns out, not all Elites are bad. Most are good in fact, but their government has corrupted their image to look evil. What's worse, is now the Elites were overrun by the Equestrians, so now the Elites think the Equestrians are evil. It's all one big lack of communication. Or is it?

Shadows, a former operative of BLACK, a secret, underground HQ led by Celestia herself, has rallied up a small team. He plans to fix all the wrongs that the Elites and Equestrians have done to each other. Only problem is, he's not sure how he's gonna do it.
Now it's up to, Skar Streak, Shadows, Spitfire, and Cogs to find a way to put an end to this conflict. Permanently.

Things are about to get really political.

Prologue:

The Beginning of the End

My name is Skar. Skar Streak. It's a simple name, I've had it all my life. I have a friend whose name is Shadows. As in the plural form of the word "Shadow." He dislikes his name. He says sometimes he hates it. He says if he could, he'd just change it to plain out "Shadow." I think his name is fine, it fits him.

He has a black coat and mane, but his mane and tail are cut almost completely off. There's barely even stubs left. He says its for tactical use, but I think there's another reason. Maybe something deeper that not even he realizes. It's quite hard to tell, he's a very strange character. After all, he's one of the only ones to give the Elites a chance.

About 10 years ago, my people, the Elites, attacked Equestria. The original plan was to go and ask peacefully, but it somehow transformed into an all out war. Our leader, Grodon the Great, had ruled over our original home for hundreds of years. Something snapped in him the moment we reached Equestria. Something shifted in his personality, it altered his decision making process, and royally fucked his brain up. It caused him to make misjudgements, and poor decisions. So when a local of Equestria was surprised at the sight of us, he took it poorly, and ordered an attack.

Naturally Equestria retaliated, so we retaliated back. Soon, it was just war from a lack of communication.

At least, that's what Shadows tells me.

I don't believe it, not for a second.

Now, the Equestrians took their land back. That's right, the Elites actually stole Equestria. So now what will my people do? Most likely retaliate. Causing more war.

Is this what they want? Do they not understand what they are doing?

There's something going on here, and I believe we're only scraping the bottom of the barrel.

To get to the top, we're going to need some help.

And a lot of hope.
