One Last Letter

Twilight Sparkle gazed out her window as she watched the chaos caused by Discord rage on. She turned as she went to her desk. Picking up her quill with magic she began to write a letter to Spike explaining to him everything he need to and more. Then after putting it next to the sleeping dragon she began to write her last letter to Princess Celestia.

Dear princess, I should have seen the signs
Chaos has risen again after all this time
Somehow I have to escape from
This nightmare of a world ours has become
What happened to the nation we all knew
We're crushed under Discord's rule
Where has harmony gone?
Feels like Equestria has been gone for so long

One last thing
That I've got to say
One more report
Before it's too late
I'm begging you to stop this chaos today
One last thing
That I gotta prove
One final goodbye
Before we meet our doom
Something happened to the peace that we all knew
This is my one last letter to you

I've tried to stop this on my own
But my friends have turned against me, I'm alone
So many, running and screaming
I'm crying out, can you hear me?
I refuse to believe that magic is dead
There has to be more than the conflict in my head
Dear princess, help me find a way
To defeat the chaos rising today

Isn't there something you can do
To save the world that we once knew

Then with a heavy heart Twilight set the letter next to Spike with a note explaining to send it to the princess when he woke up.
Twilight stepped outside and began to think of the last several days. Her friends betrayal, Discords chaos and worst of all the thought of the end of Equestria. Twilight had poured herself into her books to find something that would help. Then one late evening after reading through the same book for a fourth time she found. The book with a spell to defeat Discord. But it came with a heavy price. But Twilight knew she would have to save Equestria so she was willing to do it. To save her friends and family. She came upon Discord sitting on his throne.
"Ooooo look the Element of Magic has returned. But without her friends. I do hope I didn't cause a riff between you" Discord gloated.

"Enough Discord I have come here to defeat you" Twilight cried cause her to gain the attention of some pony's, including her friends.

Then reading her self she recited the spell in her head. Then she let her magical blast leave her firing upon Discord. She heard a cry of anguish then everything went black.
