Pinkie PieXGilda the Griffon: Reuniting Old Friends
Two weeks later...
Pinkie Pie had been staying with Gilda, her new griffonfriend, for the last two weeks. They had grown very attached to each other. Pinkie had also gotten used to living like a griffon. She was used to eating meat and using the bathroom in public. But sadly, Pinkie had to return to Ponyville. She knew her friends and landlords would be terrified if she stayed there without notifying them.
It was 9:00 PM and Pinkie was closing and cleaning Sugarcube Corner. The Cakes were all in Canterlot for a cake contest and they were trying a new experiment. After closing and cleaning, she grabbed a cupcake, went up to her room, and sat on her bed to enjoy her treat. She was craving a steak, but promised herself to only eat meat if in the Griffon Kingdom. Pinkie tried to relax by turning on the television and watching "Equestria Daily", but she couldn't enjoy herself. Images of being with her new mate was invading her mind. She wanted to live with Gilda in the Griffon Kingdom, but she had many friends that lived in Ponyville, and she was one of the Elements of Harmony. Plus, she had a career in Ponyville.
Pinkie bit into her cupcake, still having a hard time enjoying herself. She was lonely. She was truly attached and in love with Gilda. Pinkie scarfed down the rest of her cupcake and got into bed, trying to fall asleep.
Meanwhile at the Griffon Kingdom...
Gilda was in her bedchamber, trying to sleep. However, she couldn't. She felt very lonely. She had grown very attached to her new marefriend, Pinkie Pie. She wished Pinkie lived with her, but she knew Pinkie couldn't, because she had a career in Ponyville. Gilda had never actually felt love from anypony like Pinkie. She was only loved by her brother, Gilbert, and her parents, who were mauled by timberwolves when she was just 5 years old, which was why she nearly exploded at that party. She just had bad memories of her childhood.
Gilda felt tears start to run down her face and she didn't bother trying to stop them, either. She just laid in her bed and cried into her pillow. Pinkie was the only one who truly loved her, besides her family. She was also starting to feel guilty, remembering how she treated Pinkie the first time she met her. Gilda rolled over and slowly drifted off to sleep, just wishing to see her marefriend again.
The next morning...
Pinkie woke up the next morning and rubbed her eyes. She looked over at the calender. Saturday. Pinkie smiled. She was off on weekends. Pinkie decided to spend her day off with Gilda. She got out of bed and wrote a note to the Cakes just in case. After using the bathroom behind Sugarcube Corner, she got her pedal-flying-machine and used it to fly to the Griffon Kingdom.
Once Pinkie got there, she used an anchor to park her machine. She finally knew her way around the Kingdom, so she didn't have to ask for direction, even if it was pitch-dark. She walked to the Castle, but not before she helped herself to a steak.
Once she had gotten to the Castle, she went in. The King of Griffons and Gilda's older brother, Gilbert, was in the main lobby, doing some paperwork. Gilbert looked up from his paperwork and looked at Pinkie.
"Good morning, Ms. Pie", he said, "How may I help you today?"
"Just here to visit Gilda", Pinkie said.
"OK. She's in her bedchamber. You may go see her".
"Thanks!" Pinkie walked to Gilda's bedchamber and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?", Gilda called from the inside.
"It's me, Pinkie".
"Enter!"
Pinkie opened the door, seeing Gilda sitting on her bed, having some tea.
"Hey, Pinkie!", Gilda said. Pinkie smiled, walked over to Gilda, and sat down next to her.
"Hey, Gilda", Pinkie said, "What's up?"
"The usual. So, want some tea?"
"Sure", Pinkie said. Gilda poured Pinkie a cup of tea with sugar. "Thanks!"
"No prob. So, how have you been in Ponyville?"
"Just fine. You?"
"Same here. But, there's just one thing missing".
"Yeah, and I think we both know what's missing". They both said it at the same time.
"You".
"Yep", Gilda said, "Been very lonely without you around. And it's only been a day".
"Yeah", Pinkie said, "That proves that we really love each other".
"No it doesn't, this does". Gilda pulled Pinkie into a hug and kissed her. "What about now?"
"Yeah. That does. *sigh*".
"What's wrong, Pinkie?"
"I wish we could live together".
"I know. You have important things in Ponyville".
"You know what, Gilda?"
"What?"
"Why don't you live with me in Ponyville? There's a spare guest bedroom inside of Sugarcube Corner".
"Well, Pinkie, that's pretty tempting, but I can't".
"Why not?"
"Because... I... I just can't".
"But why not? You can tell me".
"I just have bad memories, Pinkie. And, there's something else".
"What?"
"I don't want to live there because, somepony else lives there".
"Oh, you mean... Rainbow Dash?"
"Yes. I just can't stand to be around her, anymore".
Pinkie looked down at the floor. She knew this was why Gilda didn't want to live with her. Pinkie then started to get an idea. If she wanted Gilda to live with her, she was going to have to reunite the two former friends.
"Umm... Gilda?"
"Yes?"
"I just wanted to ask you if you could come to a party at Sugarcube Corner tonight at 7:00".
"Sure I can. As long as there's no pranks".
"OK. I have to go now. Gotta go plan the party. See ya!" Pinkie left the Castle, got into her flying machine, and flew back to Ponyville.

Once she got back to Ponyville, she went to Sugarcube Corner and put away her machine for now. She then went to Rainbow Dash's cloudhouse. When she got there, she immediately called for Rainbow Dash.
"RAINBOW DASH!", she said. Rainbow Dash flew out of her cloudhouse and landed in front of Pinkie.
"What's up, Pinks?", Rainbow Dash said.
"I have a question. If you saw Gilda again, what would you do?"
"I would have to become a criminal if that happened. Why?"
"Oh, just asking. Anyway, I want to know if you could come to a party tonight a 7:00 at Sugarcube Corner".
"Sure. What's the occasion?"
"Umm... It's Gummy's birthday".
"I thought it was Gummy's birthday two weeks ago".
"Can you come or not?!"
"Yeah. I'll be there".
"OK! See you at 7:00". Pinkie dashed off out of sight. Once she got back to Sugarcube Corner, she began to start setting up the party.

7:00 PM
Rainbow Dash reached to front door of Sugarcube Corner and went inside. Pinkie was by the record player, setting up records for the party. After getting everything situated, Pinkie walked over to Rainbow Dash, smiling.
"Hey, Rainbow Dash", Pinkie said.
"Hey, Pinkie", Rainbow Dash said. She looked around, seeing nopony else around. "Where is everypony?"
"They'll be here in a few minutes. In the mean time, you enjoy yourself".
"OK".
"But, I want you to wear this". Pinkie held out a blindfold. Rainbow Dash looked confused.
"A blindfold? Why?"
"Please wear it?" Pinkie gave Rainbow Dash puppy-dog eyes. Rainbow Dash sighed.
"Fine". Rainbow Dash took the blindfold and tied it around her head. That's when the store bell rang. Pinkie smiled.
"Just in time!" Pinkie ran to the door and opened it. Gilda was standing there. "Before you come in, you have to wear this". She held out another blindfold. Gilda shrugged and tied the blindfold around her head. Gilda then walked into the bakery. Pinkie locked the front door and back door and all of the windows.
She then approached the two guests. "You may remove your blindfolds". Both Rainbow Dash and Gilda took their blindfolds off. Both guests immediately noticed each other.
"YOU!!!!", they both said.
"Why are you here?!?!?!". Gilda said.
"Why are YOU here?!?!?!, Rainbow Dash said.
"OK", Pinkie said, "Time to begin. Welcome to the Bonding Party. In this party, there are some rules. First, everything is locked, so there will be no leaving the party. Second, no fighting or violence of any kind. The point of the Bonding Party is to have you two make up. Remember, the front door, the back door, and every single window is locked. Once you two make up and resume your friendship, you will be set free". Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie.
"Why do you care about our friendship, anyway?!", she said.
"Because, Dashie", Pinkie said, "You don't know this yet, but Gilda and I are in love with each other".
"What?!"
"Yep. I want her to live with me, but she doesn't want to because you live in the same city. So, that's why I arranged the party, so you two can become friends again. Oh, and there are a few other rules. Of course, every exit is locked and so is every room upstairs. There is a bathroom over there. And, as you can see, there are refreshments everywhere. There's also some music by the record. OK, you two have fun! I'll be upstairs". Pinkie ran upstairs to her room, leaving the two enemies to themselves.
9:00 PM...
The party was still going on two hours later. Both Gilda and Rainbow Dash still hated each other. Pinkie still had every exit and window locked. She tried to coax them by saying things like, "All you have to do is hug!", and, "Just be friends again and you can leave", but sadly, it wasn't working. Pinkie grabbed a slice of cake and went back up to her room to relax, hoping the former friends would make up.
12:00 AM...
Pinkie was watching "Equestria Daily" in her room when she heard yelling. She went downstairs to the "party". Sure enough, Rainbow Dash and Gilda were arguing. Pinkie wanted to try to break the two up, but decided to just let them do it themselves. She went back up to her room and resumed her show.
2:00 AM...
Pinkie had her TV on full blast. She was having trouble keeping her eyes open. Her eyes were red and Rainbow Dash and Gilda were still arguing. Pinkie was trying so hard to ignore them, but they were arguing loud and hardcore. They were even using very foul language against each other. Pinkie sighed.
"Those two have argued for two hours! I give up!" Pinkie turned her TV off, laid down on her bed, and tried to go to sleep. However, she didn't think she could sleep. She knew it would be wrong to leave the two guests in there while she tried to sleep. Plus, the arguing was really starting to annoy her. She started to shake in anger and her mane and tail deflated. She had escalated from Pinkie Pie to Pinkamena Diane Pie. She jumped out of bed and ran downstairs.
"STOP!!!!!!!!!!!", Pinkamena yelled. The two guests immediately shut up. "That's enough!! You two have argued for two bucking hours!"
"Well", Rainbow Dash said, "If she just apologizes for being a bully at that party, I'll be fine".
"No", Gilda said, "Once she apologizes to me for all of those pranks she pulled on me, I'll be fine".
"No", Rainbow Dash said, "You were the one that caused this!"
"No", Gilda said, "YOU were!". The two were about to argue again, but Pinkamena stopped them.
"STOP!", she said, "You both caused this! Hear me out! You both are the causes of this!". She turned to Rainbow Dash. "Dash! I know Gilda wasn't acting very friendly during her last time she was here, and that she treated me like garbage, but she was in a bad mood! When I went to find her, she told me about her history. Her parents were killed by timberwolves! That was why she wanted me to stay away from you, because you were her only friend! She didn't want to lose you! The only family she has left is her brother, Gilbert!"
Pinkamena then turned to Gilda. "And Gilda, of course Rainbow Dash pulled a bunch of pranks on you, but she just wanted to have fun with you! Pranks are what usually keep friendships fun! You don't know how many pranks Rainbow Dash and I pulled on each other and on our other four friends, She scared me so hard once, I got the hiccups. I once gave Rainbow Dash a cake full of laxative. Pranks aren't things that break friendships!"
Pinkamena started to calm down, but her anger turned to sadness. "But, I feel like if I didn't plan that party and just left you two alone, this would've never happened. I feel like this is all my fault. I wish I could just go back and stop myself from doing that. I was the one who broke up your friendship. I... I... I'm sorry!!". Pinkamena ran into the bathroom and locked the door. Both Gilda and Rainbow Dash could hear Pinkamena crying loudly. She must have been crying very hard, because they saw some kind of liquid starting to flow out of the door. The guests looked at each other.
"You know, Dash", Gilda said, "Pinkie is right".
"Yeah", Rainbow Dash said, "We were acting like enemies to each other".
"I mean, I overreacted to those pranks. A little pepper and cake to the face isn't really something to get steamed about".
"Yeah, and I didn't know about what happened to your parents. That must have been why you looked mad every time I saw you".
"You know, Dash. I wanna know...".
"What?"
"Can we start over? As friends?", Gilda said. Rainbow Dash smiled.
"Yeah, Gilda. We can", she said. Gilda then smiled. Rainbow Dash held her hoof out to Gilda, wanting a hoofshake. However, Gilda slapped her hoof away. Rainbow Dash looked confused, but then wasn't. Gilda didn't want a shake, she wanted a hug. The two hugged each other. At that point, Pinkamena came out of the bathroom. She heard every word the two said. Seeing the two hug made her happy. Her mane and tail re-inflated and, once again, Pinkie Pie was back. She walked over to the two and joined the hug, making it a group hug. After about two minutes, they all let go of each other.
"Congratulations, Rainbow Dash and Gilda. You have reformed your friendship. The Bonding Party is over. You're free to go!". She pressed a button on a secret remote, unlocking every door and window in the bakery. Both Rainbow Dash and Gilda looked at each other and smiled.
"Actually, Pinks", Rainbow Dash said, "Could Gilda and I stay here tonight?"
"Yeah", Gilda said, "We want to spend some time together". Pinkie smiled.
"Sure! I'll go get the air mattress". Pinkie left and soon returned with an air mattress. After inflating it, the two reformed friends laid down on it. Pinkie hugged Rainbow Dash and said, "Goodnight!". She then hugged Gilda and kissed her, saying, "Goodnight!", also. She then went up to her room. The two friends cuddled together.
"Nite, Gilda", Rainbow Dash said.
"Nite, Dash", Gilda said.
The two reunited friends fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
