The discovery
The sun was down and it was a dark night  and Twilight could not sleep. She was just so worried. Princess Luna was away in saddle Arabia sorting a problem and if something happened to Princess Celestia she would be in charge. She decided to go for a long walk she strolled far out. She had no idea that she was strolling east to the forbidden forest. Any pony could be sent there for anything they did.
Suddenly she came to a halt. She realized where she was. She looked around. Something caught her eye in the distance. she got closer and closer until she could be seen by who ever or what ever it was. She hid by  nearby tree. It was a camp, but for who. She looked closely at the tents they had holes in them like changeling hooves. The doors of the tents were all open she peered in one she didn't believe her eyes. It was a changeling but it was different to the changelings who tried to ruin shining armor's wedding. It was like a normal pony but with fangs and holes in its horn and legs.
She saw the biggest tent. It looked like it was made for a Queen. She peered inside no one was in there and no one had been in there she could tell. She knew she had to keep it to herself. Suddenly one of the changelings stirred. Twilight ran as fast as she could. She sneaked back in and went back to sleep.
The morning was bright. Twilight went straight down to have breakfast. Celestia was already there. After she had finished her food she asked " Princess Celestia can I go exploring for the day". "Sorry Twilight its your first day of royal duties and there are four following days of royal duties to" replied Celestia .
Twilights diary
Royal duties day 1
On day one I had to sit on the thrown and answer to every ponies problem. Most of the problems were silly ones like my hair appointment was canceled or my posh shoe is broken. It was ridiculous!
Royal duties day 2
On day two I had to sit through all my royal mail and answer it. Can you believe it! It was so boring and long . But some of the letters were from children and were pretty sweet while half the others were ponies wanting things they were all pretty stuck up.
Royal duties day 3
On day three I had to choose the dress, accessories, hats and shoes to wear to the big ball on day 5. It was hard choosing, it would have been easier if Rarity was here
Royal duties day 4
On day four I had to choose the music, decorations, entertainment sport, type of animals for a show, which kind of apple pie, apple crumble and apple tart and the rest of the food to be served. It would have been much easier if my friends were here.
Royal duties day 5
On day five it was amazing we had a giant all day ball. Turns out the choices I made were right except the sport. Hoove ball. It was the first day of royal duties I enjoyed! I war a pink silk and linon dress with floral patterns an gold lining. I was so beautiful.
"Finally the day is here, the day I explore the camp of the newly discovered changelings" exclaimed Twilight. "Knock knock". "There is some ponies here to see you" chimed the voice of Celestia. "Come in" said Twilight. The door opened and suddenly a huge party came in and there was balloons and streamers everywhere. In amongst it all were Twilight's best friends. "They've come to spend the day with you" explained Celestia. "It's going to be simply divine!" exclaimed Rarity. This is going to be a long night thought Twilight.
