From the Stars They Came
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryIt was quite the starry night, I'm told, but then again, Ponyville didn't have any light pollution to block out such a beautiful view. Suddenly, streaking across the sky, a bright white object was spotted hurdling towards the ground. The area of impact was a field, not too far from Sweet Apple Acres. The elements of harmony gathered to find out what the mysterious object was, only to find...me. I appeared to be a young man, no older than 17, with silver hair. I was wearing armor, or what appeared to be armor. It looked like a heavily armored bodysuit. When i awoke...well...let's just say, I wasnt greeted with the friendliest of welcomes.
I woke up to the sound of a burst of energy. I quickly stood up and pulled out my sword, only to find the fight had started without me. There were six girls battling against a group of five, strange creatures of pure blackness. One of the girls noticed me and shouted, "Hey! Another one!"
Another girl replied, "No, that one's different! It must be the leader!" I watched in horror as a girl with purple hair used her magic to rip apart two of the creatures. They disappeared into nothing. One of the creatures lunged at the blonde one, who quickly kicked its head off. It dissapeared too.
I found myself knocked to the ground by a girl with rainbow hair and wings hovering right above me. "And STAY down!" she shouted, and down I stayed. I had no choice, with her standing over me with one foot on my chest. The last two creatures were dispatched quickly, and the rest of the girls came over to me.
Once she made sure I wouldnt get up again, the girl with the rainbow hair got off of me. That was when the girl with the purple hair spoke up, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Both were questions I expected, but I didn't have an answer to either of them.
"I...I can't remember." I admitted.
"What were those...THINGS?" she asked.
"I don't know....but I think they were after...me..." I stood up and put my sword back in its sheath. "So, uh...Who are you girls?" I asked nervously.
"They are the Elements of Harmony." A voice spoke up in response, but none of the girls' mouths had moved. They all turned and made room for a woman with ethereal, rainbow hair. "Who, may I ask, might you be?"
I gave her the same answer I gave the other girls, the only answer I could give. "I don't know. I can't remember anything..."
