One day in the magical land of Equestria, well... Magical for some, boring for others. Rainbow Dash woke up with the same old boring life, wake up, run around, eat, run around some more, see her friends, go home, go back to bed, and it was the same every day. Like a lot of ponies, you would like something new every few month's, otherwise, thing's get boring, and for this pony, this day had come. One average, boring day, in the middle of Ponyville, a rainbow pony walked out side of her cottage. She sighed as nothing was different from the day before, or the day before, or the day before that. Rainbow Dash thought to herself.
"All of my friends have something special, and I have nothing, Twilight is good with magic, Rarity is good at making clothes. Pinkie pie is good at partying and making ponies laugh, Applejack is strong and is good at apple bucking and Fluttershy is good with animals, and then there's me, boring life and a worthless pony."
The "worthless" pony, as Rainbow Dash call's herself, walked out of her house and in the middle of the street. She started thinking again.
"I'm sick of this life, it's boring, I want a job to do, to make sure I do at least something useful with myself for once. I'm finally going to find my place in this world. I'm going to see if I have the same capabilities as my friend's, I'll go ask them. But who shall I see first. I know, Twilight is always making a mess of her library, maybe I could be her librarian."
The Techno coloured pony ran off to Twilights library. When she finally got there she burst open the door, pushing Spike into the air at full force with a stack of books into the air and landing on twilight.
"Twi-" Rainbow Dash said, but stopped when she looked on the floor to see Twilight and Spike crippled on the floor under a huge stack of book's.
Rainbow Dash burst out laughing. Twilight and Spike were not amused.
"Oh, ha ha, very funny." Twilight sighed.
"I knew it, you do always make a mess of your library, I've come to ask you for a job as a librarian, to help you keep your library clean." Rainbow Dash said.
"What!? I don't always make my library messy, the only reason it's messy is because you knocked spike over with a huge stack of book's." Twilight screamed furiously.
"Oh..." Rainbow Dash said giultfully.
"And no, sorry, Spike does that for me, and I could clear the library up in 2 second's with my magic. Why do you ask?" Twilight asked.
"It's just that I'm so bored with my life, I have nothing to show for it, I want to make myself useful for once." Rainbow Dash said sadly.
"Well. sorry, but I can't help you. Maybe you can ask rarity, she always need's help around the shop." Twilight suggested.
"Well, ok, thanks' Twilight." Rainbow Dash replied.
Rainbow ran to the other side of Ponyville to Rarity's shop. She knocked on the overly gem incrusted door.
"Hello?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Hold on, ill be two minute's." Rarity replied.
There was thud and a thunder inside the building before Rarity opened the door.
"Yes, hello Rarity, um, I was wondering if I would get a job here to help you around the sho-"
"NEVER!" Rarity screamed. "It's hard enough trying to keep Sweetie Belle away from "Helping" as she call's it, I do not want this shop ruined again, so no, I'm sorry, but you'll have to find somewhere else." Rarity said angrily.
She slammed the door on Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash was very confused and angry at Rarity. Rainbow Dash decided to do something for revenge. She picked up a small rock with her hoof and threw it at Rarity's window.
"BITCH!" Rainbow shouted as she ran away.
"Right, I will go see Fluttershy next."
Rainbow Dash ran over to Fluttershy's cottage. She knocked on the door, a small squeaky voice came from the other side of the door.
"W-who is it?" Fluttershy asked nervously.
"Hey, Fluttershy, it's Rainbow Dash."
"Oh, hi Rainbow Dash, what would you like?" Fluttershy asked.
"I want to help you out with your animal's." Rainbow Dash said.
"Oh, that would be good, you're very welcome to. Come in." Fluttershy said calmly.
"Thanks'" Rainbow Dash replied.
Rainbow Dash walked through the door and accidently stood on angel.
"Damn it, Rainbow Dash, you've only just walked through the door and you've already messed up." Rainbow Dash thought to herself.
"Oh, careful Rainbow Dash, will you please fill up Angel's food bowl, the food is in the sack in the corner." Fluttershy explained.
Rainbow Dash picked up the huge sack of food. As soon as she picked it up, she lost her balance. The big sack of food flew into the window, smashing it and falling outside.
"Look, sorry Rainbow Dash, but I don't think your cut out for this job." Fluttershy explained.
"It's ok Fluttershy, I understand, I'll try Applejack." Rainbow Dash replied.
Rainbow Dash ran to Applejack's Apple farm.
"APPLEJACK!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Err, yes Rainbow Dash?"
"Can I get a job here, at the apple farm?" Rainbow Dash replied.
"Why sure you can, just start with that apple tree over there." Applejack replied.
Rainbow Dash walked over to the huge apple tree. She raised her hind legs and-
"OUCH!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"Di- did you just break your leg from bucking an apple tree? I've never seen that before..." Apple Jack laughed.
"Yes and it's not funny, please, take me to the hospital." Rainbow Dash complained.
"Ok. ok I'm sorry." Applejack replied,
Applejack took Rainbow Dash to the Ponyville hospital. She had a cast put on her left hind leg.
"Well, Rainbow Dash, it seems you will have this cast on for about six week's, It will be fine just don't use it for a while." The doctor explained.
"Thanks' doc." Rainbow Dash replied.
Rainbow Dash and Applejack left the hospital.
"Thanks' for helping me back there, Applejack." Rainbow Dash said.
"Ah, it's nothing, just be careful, where are you going to go?" Applejack asked.
"I think I'm just going to have a few drink's at Sugar Cube Corner." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Well, just take care of your self, now." Applejack replied.
Rainbow Dash limped over to Sugar Cube Corner, When she noticed a new drink on the menu. Rainbow Dash walked in to order the new drink, RedBull.
"Hey pinkie, can I have one of your new drink's please, a RedBull." Rainbow Dash asked.
"Sure you can, you seem down in the dump's, what's wrong?" Pinkie asked.
"It's just that I feel worthless that I'm doing nothing with my life." Rainbow Dash explained.
"Oh well, I'm sure this will cheer you up." Pinkie replied.
Pinkie Pie passed over the can of RedBull. Rainbow Dash drank the RedBull and suddenly felt... strange.
"Agh, what's happening?!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"Oh, just what happens to everypony that drink's RebBull." Pinkie explained.
Suddenly, Rainbow Dash grew a big pair of light blue wing's.
"I- Im a Pegasus. Oh my GOSH, THANK YOU PINKIE PIE, I CAN FINALLY DO SOMETHING WITH MY LI-"
There was a knock on the door, Rainbow Dash flew over to her front door and opened it.
"Oh hey Rainbow Dash, me and our friend's have organised a play date with our pet's. Would you like to come?" Fluttershy asked.
"Um. y-yes, why not." Rainbow Dash replied.
"What's wrong? you look confused." Fluttershy said.
"Oh, nothing, it was just a dream." Rainbow Dash said.
"Ok then, let's go!" Fluttershy replied.
"Ok, just let me lock up." Rainbow Dash said in relief.
Rainbow Dash closed her door and locked it, happy that all that was just a dream, she flew towards the play date with all her friend's.
