The Strange Origin Of Pinkie Pie
Mother Emerald
Load Full StoryNext ChapterPinkie Pie sadly moved a rock around with her muzzle, sighing. "Wanna hear a joke?" The filly said to her young alligator named Gummy, she had gotten him for her birthday a few months ago after begging and begging her parents for a pet.
Pinkie Pie's mother, Emerald Pie, called out from the kitchen, "No jokes, Pinkamena Diane Pie! Get back to work or go to bed before dinner."
Pinkie Pie sighed, placing gummy atop of her back. "We better get back to work then, huh?" She said, continuing to push at the rock.
Pinkie Pie's mother had called her in for dinner, but her mother had cut off a portion of her bread for the consistent laughter coming from her room that very morning.
"Mother Emerald?" Inkie Pie asked her mother, she was sitting next to her twin sister, Blinkie Pie, at the medal table.
The house was boring and old, no splashes of color were to be seen, unless of course you go into Pinkie's closet which she has a 'super secret stash of party ballons', other than that; every room felt the same as the others.
Emerald Pie sighed, "Inkie Morgan Pie!" Pinkie Pie could tell that this was the beginning of another one of her mother's rants about how 'the children don't talk during dinner'.
Pinkie Pie quickly tuned out the lecture, after awhile of living with the Pie family, tuning out various things is no challenge whatsoever.
After they had all finished their bread and green pea soup, her mother excused Pinkie's sisters, leaving Pinkie Pie waiting for the signal to leave and go to her room, but that didn't happen. "Is there a problem, mommy?" Pinkie Pie asked the blueish grayish pony who just happened to be her boring mother.
Emerald rolled her eyes in annoyance, "Pinkamena, you are to address me as Mother Emerald. And yes, there just happens to be a 'problem'."
Pinkie Pie cringed at the thought of what she could or couldn't of done, and what her mother would do to her.
Her parents weren't really the most lovely, considering instead of lowering their children's allowance, they limit the amount of food they can eat each supper.
"What seems to be the problem, Mother Emerald?" The young filly asked, after minutes of intense starring at her daughter, she finally spoke.
"Blinkie told me about your 'secret stash' of party balloons today after the homeschool session was over." Emerald Pie began, Pinkie suddenly felt her heart stop. Her only source of happiness was going to be taken away from her, this cannot be happening.
"And I have popped all of the balloons, and threw away the scrapings in the trashcan."
Pinkie Pie began to tear up, "But mother!"
Emerald Pie ignored the filly's tears, "No, Pinkamena Diane Pie. Now go to your room."
