//-------------------------------------------------------// The Strange Origin Of Pinkie Pie -by OneSingleClick- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Abandonment //-------------------------------------------------------// Abandonment The young filly Pinkie Pie sighed with relief as she placed Gummy on the top of her head, "Gummy! Are you as excited as I am?" She asked, looking at the alligator. "Me too!" Pinkie Pie began to sing, Today is the best day in history! Today is the day that all will see What kind of pony Pinkie Pie could be Today is the day I tell my family About my plans, about my hopes, about my dreams Today is the day it all becomes gold! Because.. Today is the best day in history! Today is the day that all will see What kind of pony I can be! Aren't you oh so excited, Gummy? "Today is the day that I tell my Mom Dad and Sisters about me moving to Ponyville!" She squeed happily, jumping up and down. Pinkie Pie had been planning this for quite sometime, it was just now that she had decided it. Pinkie Pie trotted downstairs happily smiling. "Mother, Father, Sisters?" Pinkie Pie shouted, balloons were tied to her hair curls. Ever since Pinkie Pie had gotten her cutie mark, she had been a handful for the four ponies, always trying to plan parties for them. It was amazing to see their daughter so happy, but why can't she be happy doing what they want her to do? Farming rocks was plenty 'fun'. They would rather paint her cutie mark over and paint the one of their choice onto her flank, but once cutie mark's are there, they can't just go away. The paint would wash away eventually, too. The four ponies came out from their bedrooms, yawning. "It is 5 AM, Pinkamena Diane Pie!" Her father shouted, Pinkie Pie ignored his protest and continued with her announcement. "Guys! I have the biggest news in history of big news in the whole big news world!" The pink filly shouted, earning confused looks from each of the four ponies standing before her. Pinkie Pie's grin grew wider, "I'm moving to Ponyville!" She shouted happily, bouncing up and down. Pinkie Pie's look of excitement faded as soon as she saw the faces of disappointment upon her parents and sibling's faces. "You are happy for me.. Aren't you?" Pinkie Pie asked, her lip curling slightly. Inkie and Blinkie's faces were frozen in place, and her mother was nervously looking around the room, looking for a way to escape. Her father finally spoke up, breaking the silence, "Pinkamena Diane Pie," He began, anger and fear in his words. "Why in Equestria would you want to leave the farm?" He asked his daughter, stomping a hoof into the ground. "This farm is where you were born, and it is where you are going to grow up!" He shouted with force. "But Father! How am I supposed to be a party planner if I'm stuck here on this rock farm with no ponies to plan parties for other than you four? That's only like, four parties a year!" Pinkie Pie protested, standing up to her father. "You are staying on the farm, and that is finale!" Her father shouted, the two sisters sat there in terror, and Emerald's eyes were swelling up with tears. "Rocky Pie, do not be so harsh on the sweet little filly!" The mother shouted at her husband. Rocky pointed his muzzle upward, "You are to never come back again, Pinkamena Diane Pie. Leave, now." He shouted, pointing a hoof out the door. Inkie, the youngest sister, spoke up, "But father, she didn't do anything wrong!" The filly protested, curling her lip. "I don't want sissy Pinkie to leave!" The father crossed his forelegs, "She wanted to leave us, and she is going to leave us! She is getting exactly what she asked for." Rocky shouted at his youngest daughter. Pinkie Pie felt tears streaming down her cheeks, "This is not what I wanted! I wanted to live in Ponyville and still be your daughter! Please!" Rocky growled, he has had enough with his used-to-be daughter, so he began to push her out the door forcefully. "Mo-Mothe--Mother! Please do s-something!" Blinkie demanded, wrapping her forelegs around her mother's. Emerald sat there, in shock, as she watched her daughter being pushed out the door. "Father! Please! At least l-let me g-get my party c-can-cannon!" Pinkie Pie pleaded to her father. Her father picked her up as soon as they arrived to the dirt road outside of the house, "Soon enough, you're going to come crying to me and your mother, asking for forgiveness. First you want to move away from home, soon enough you're going to be one of those damn Fillyfoolers! They're cancer I tell ya! You are no longer apart of the Pie family until you come to your senses and loose those dumb balloons on your flank and come back with a rock cutie mark." Her father shouted, no emotion except anger was behind his voice. //-------------------------------------------------------// Old Dusty Blanket //-------------------------------------------------------// Old Dusty Blanket Young Pinkie Diane Pie shed lakes worth of tears as she trotted down the dusty and old dirt road, "I just wanted to show my family.." "What kind of pony Pinkie Pie could be.." "Now, they will never see.." "What kind of pony I can be.." "Oh, Gummy, please.. Help me.." She sang softly to herself as her tears made their way down her cheeks. Ponyville was close to the rock farm where she had once lived, but for a filly with very weak forelegs from nerve and crying, it felt like miles away. "I..I just want to go home.." She said, her voice cracking. "Oh how I love my family." "Now I will never see," "What kind of ponies they could be." The skies were gray and colorless, the trees were dying, and there was no green grass for miles, Pinkie Pie, with her bright pink fur and dark pink mane, felt like an outcast. She stood out more than a rock and a diamond on the same display together. It was getting dark, and with that, it was getting hard for her to see where she was going; The wind was blowing furiously and the clouds above threatened her with slight raindrops on the muzzle every once in awhile. She saw a old barn, it was gray with a light blue roof, it was probably the only stable shelter for miles. Pinkie Pie walked threw the dry, dead, grass to the barn, she stepped inside of the old farmhouse and sighed with relief. "Ew!" She shouted, noticing that she had stepped in a puddle of mud. Or at least that's what she hoped it was. It smelt like the food that her father used to cook her, reminding her of her family, a nervous feeling in her stomach returned. Pinkie Pie began to tear up again at the thought of her father, "How could he be so cruel? I thought we were family, family sticks together no matter what. Why wouldn't they want me to be happy?" She said to herself, knowing that nopony besides her alligator, Gummy, would hear her. She found an old dusty blanket with ripped holes in it, it had patches of light blonde on it, the rest of it a light shade of orange with apple's embroidered on the edges. Pinkie Pie let out a sigh, as she wrapped herself up in the blanket tightly. Even though the blanket kept her warm, a cold feeling in her heart wouldn't leave her be. "I miss the times when Mommy Emerald told me bedtime stories.." Pinkie Pie mumbled to herself, tears streaming down her bright pink cheeks. Pinkie Pie's mane was more messy than usual; it had leafs and sticks stuck in the curls, and mud in some places as well. Pinkie Pie was more than grateful to have found shelter, the storm was just starting, and from what she could tell, it probably would hail at some point. She had payed attention to the different weather signs each day, on account of being bored out of her mind, she had too. It helped give her something to do, and it helped her know when it was a good time to harvest the rocks. Now, that was a useless talent, she never could go back to that rock farm again. She never wanted to go back to that rock farm again, not until her father came to his senses and accepted his daughter for wanting to move on in life. Her tears eventually ran dry, and she drifted off to sleep, as so did Gummy. //-------------------------------------------------------// Mother Emerald //-------------------------------------------------------// Mother Emerald Pinkie Pie sadly moved a rock around with her muzzle, sighing. "Wanna hear a joke?" The filly said to her young alligator named Gummy, she had gotten him for her birthday a few months ago after begging and begging her parents for a pet. Pinkie Pie's mother, Emerald Pie, called out from the kitchen, "No jokes, Pinkamena Diane Pie! Get back to work or go to bed before dinner." Pinkie Pie sighed, placing gummy atop of her back. "We better get back to work then, huh?" She said, continuing to push at the rock. Pinkie Pie's mother had called her in for dinner, but her mother had cut off a portion of her bread for the consistent laughter coming from her room that very morning. "Mother Emerald?" Inkie Pie asked her mother, she was sitting next to her twin sister, Blinkie Pie, at the medal table. The house was boring and old, no splashes of color were to be seen, unless of course you go into Pinkie's closet which she has a 'super secret stash of party ballons', other than that; every room felt the same as the others. Emerald Pie sighed, "Inkie Morgan Pie!" Pinkie Pie could tell that this was the beginning of another one of her mother's rants about how 'the children don't talk during dinner'. Pinkie Pie quickly tuned out the lecture, after awhile of living with the Pie family, tuning out various things is no challenge whatsoever. After they had all finished their bread and green pea soup, her mother excused Pinkie's sisters, leaving Pinkie Pie waiting for the signal to leave and go to her room, but that didn't happen. "Is there a problem, mommy?" Pinkie Pie asked the blueish grayish pony who just happened to be her boring mother. Emerald rolled her eyes in annoyance, "Pinkamena, you are to address me as Mother Emerald. And yes, there just happens to be a 'problem'." Pinkie Pie cringed at the thought of what she could or couldn't of done, and what her mother would do to her. Her parents weren't really the most lovely, considering instead of lowering their children's allowance, they limit the amount of food they can eat each supper. "What seems to be the problem,  Mother Emerald?" The young filly asked, after minutes of intense starring at her daughter, she finally spoke. "Blinkie told me about your 'secret stash' of party balloons today after the homeschool session was over." Emerald Pie began, Pinkie suddenly felt her heart stop. Her only source of happiness was going to be taken away from her, this cannot be happening. "And I have popped all of the balloons, and threw away the scrapings in the trashcan." Pinkie Pie began to tear up, "But mother!" Emerald Pie ignored the filly's tears, "No, Pinkamena Diane Pie. Now go to your room."
