It was a great day for a picnic. The sun was shining, the dandelions in bloom. Spring was finally setting in. Taking the opportunity to free herself from the Golden Oaks Library, Twilight sets off to the meadows to join her friends for a perfect lunch.

Clouds take the horizon, and darkness consumes all. There is no escaping what comes. Forced to flee, with her friends and a crash victim in tow, Twilight must find the answers before they find her. But will the strength of friendship be enough to save them from what looms ahead?

This is a revival of the first fanfiction I started in August of 2012, two years ago. It has gone under extreme revision, and some moderate changes since then. This story was inspired by my own desire to create a story to repay the community with a story they can enjoy, can read and tell others. To re-enact my thanks for being part of such a lovely community and fandom; one that has changed me in many ways. So please, enjoy.
