Chapters Apple Bloom wakes up feeling excited. She gets ready and hurries to have breakfast as fast as she can.
"Whoa there sugarcude, what's the hurry?" Applejack asked as Apple Bloom ran past her.
"Ah'm going over to Zecora's to help her out with a few things she needs help on..." Apple Bloom said sounding excited. "...and who knows, maybe ah'll get my Cutie Mark while ah'm at it!"
"Well alright then, just remember to stay out of trouble! And don't be out too late nether ya hear?!" Said Applejack.
"Okay!!!" Apple Bloom said as she headed for the Everfree Forest where Zecora lives.
As Apple Bloom was running past Ponyville to get to the Everfree Forest, a certain purple dragon was making his way back home. With all the items he went to get for Twilight covering most of what was in front of him Spike just couldn't see that he was in the middle of a certain young filly's path. And by the time she notice him to was too late.
BAM!!!
"Whoa, what hit me?" Apple Bloom asked as she groan slightly in pain from the crash. She then gets up and finds the poor dragon knock on the ground a little in pain.
"Ouch..." Spike said as he was groaning a little in pain on the floor.
"Oh my gosh, Spike!" She said as she went to help him up. "Are ya okay?"
"I'm alright..." Spike said as he got up. "...but what's up Apple Bloom, why are you in a hurry?" He asked.
"Oh that's right, later Spike and sorry!!!" She said as she continued to head for the forest.
"Hey, aren't you going to help me pick this up?!" Spike said out loud, but Apple Bloom didn't hear him. "Oh well..."
Apple Bloom makes her way to Zecora's and goes in to find Zecora busy mixing herbs.
"Hey there Zecora, sorry ah'm a little late!" Apple Bloom said all excited.
"Oh Apple Bloom your timing is quite fine, for now you can help me with this mixture of mine." Zecora said as she still focuses on what she's doing.
"Sure, what ya'all need?"
"The grounded seeds that can strengthen you twice, it's on the top shelf next to that spice." She said as she pointed where.
"Ah see it." Apple Bloom said as she spots the bottle with the herb.
Using a stool to stand on Apple Bloom trys to reach the bottle. But just then a gust of wind from outside blows open a window. The wind blows the little filly off balance causing her to almost fall.
"Whooooaaa!"
She trys to stop herself from falling by grabbing the shelf, but she still falls taking the shelf with her. This causes some of the herds and potions that were on the shelf to mix as they fell on Apple Bloom. The mixture then causes a small explosion, filling the room with smoke.
"What's this explosion in the room..." Zecora said when the explosion happen. "...oh no, Apple Bloom!"
"Ah'm alright!" Apple Bloom said as she was coughing within the clearing smoke.
As the smoke finished clearing, Zecora then gasp at the sight of the young filly.
"What?! Is there something wro-" Apple Bloom stopped at mid sentence when she saw that the hoof she reached out with was a dragon's hand. In fact the young filly was now a young dragon. "Wh-what's happen to me!!!"
End of Chapter 1
Chapter 2: Dragon for a Day
"Hmm... Well this is quite a some, for it is a dragon you've become." Zecora said after having a good look at Apple Bloom.
"Ah dragon!!! But how did this happen?!" Apple Bloom said as she panic a little.
"Calm yourself and do not stress, for the answer lies within the mess." Zecora said as she went to look at the mess to find out what caused this transformation. "Hmm... So here's the cause of thee, it's what was within these bottles three." She showed Apple Bloom three broken bottles.
"So what was in um."
"They were scales of dragon and grounded Zap Apple seeds that's right..." She continued. "...and lastly a potion of Transite"
"Transite, what's that?" Apple Bloom asked all curious.
"It is an elixir that can give you a disguise, by changing you into the last you saw with each others eyes." Zecora explain.
"Each others eyes? Wait, Spike was the last one ah saw eye to eye! Maybe that's why ah'm a dragon."
"Hmm... you do indeed resemble young Spike, yet you still look nothing alike."
"What do ya mean?"
"The Transite should have made you look the same, but as you can see that is not the game." Zecora said as she brought a mirror.
Apple Bloom looked and saw Zecora was right. She looked more like a dragon version of herself then a copy of Spike.
"But I believe the Transite had some help you understand, that the other two may have played a hand." Zecora continued. "When Dragon Scales and grounded Zap Apple seeds were added to the deal, your disguise became unique to you and your dragon half quite real."
"So... Am ah stuck like this forever?" Apple Bloom asked sounding worried.
"Oh no my dear, the same rules of Transite still applies here." She said as she went to get a bottle. "Ah here it is on this rack, a drop of this should change you back."
Zecora was confident that this would cure her, but it didn't take long for her confident face to change into a worried one.
"Is there something wrong?" Apple Bloom asked when she saw Zecora beginning to worry.
"It's strange that it didn't work you see, I'll need more time to solve this mystery." Zecora said as she went to work on finding a cure.
"So what should ah do in the mean time?"
"Well until then you must relax and calm down, perhaps returning to the town."
"But ah can't go back to town looking like this! What if somepony recognizes me and tells Applejack? Ah just can't let her know about this, ah just can't!"
"Then don't reveal your true self as you should, take advantage of your new dragon hood."
"Wait, ya mean just pretend to be a dragon?"
Zecora then nods her head saying yes. And with that Apple Bloom just smiled and left Zecora's excited to give her new dragon form a try, confident that Zecora will find a way to change her back. But right when she was about to try fire breathing an unexpected guest interrupted her, it was Fluttershy.
Fluttershy gasp when she saw Apple Bloom. "Oh my gosh! Y-your..."
(Oh no, it's Fluttershy! She knows it's me. She's gonna tell Applejack, ah'm gonna get in trouble.) Apple Bloom thought to herself.

Chapter 4: An Apple in Mind
"So Spike, where are we going?" Apple Bloom asked sounding curious.
"We're going to my favorite spots in Ponyville!" Spike said as he takes her to their first stop.
They headed to areas that Apple Bloom recognize and they had fun at each of them. Their tour around Ponyville soon took them to Sweet Apple Acres.
(Sweet Apple Acres, wonder why we're here?) Apple Bloom thought to herself. "So um, what are we doing here?" She asked Spike when they got to the farm's fence.
"There's a friend of mine who lives here, that I'd like you to meet." Spike said as he relaxes on the fence.
Somepony ya want me to meet?
"Yeah, I think she's really cool you know! So I think you'd really like her."
"Cool huh..." (It must be Applejack, ah guess she is pretty cool.) Apple Bloom thought to herself. She then notices Applejack with Rainbow Dash heading there way. "Is that her over there?" She asked.
"Well howdy there Spike, who your friend?" Applejack asked as she and Rainbow Dash walk towards them.
Hey Applejack, Rainbow Dash. This is Alice she's new in town."
"Um hello.." Apple Bloom said.
"So Spike, is this your girrrrlfriend?!" Rainbow Dash said teasing him.
"WHAT!!!" Spike and Apple Bloom said at the same time.
"Hehe I'm just kidding!" Rainbow Dash said as she laughed at their reaction.
"Anyway, what brings ya here to these parts?" Applejack asked.
*"Oh, is Apple Bloom here? Spike asked.
*(What?) Apple Bloom thought to herself.
*"I wanted to introduce her to Alice."
*(Ah'm the pony he thinks is cool.) Apple Bloom continued thinking to herself as she blushed a little, but then she remembered her situation. (Or at least... Ah was that pony.)
*"Sorry there partner, but ah'm afraid she isn't here." Applejack said. "But ah believe she's still at Zecora's, so you might find her there."
*"Oh okay thanks, come on Alice."Spike said then he and Apple Bloom left.
*"Hmm..." Applejack said as she saw Spike and his dragon friend walk away with a suspecting look.
*"It's cool that Spike found another dragon to hang out with, right!" Rainbow Dash said but then she notices how Applejack looked. "Um Applejack, is something wrong?" She asked.
*"Hmm? Oh it's nothin, it's just... Something about that Alice just makes me feel like... Like ah've met her before..."

Chapter 5: Sapphire Snack
Spike and **Apple Bloom were then walking through Ponyville until Spike heard a strange sound coming from Apple Bloom. It didn't take him long to realize it was her stomach and knew right away that she was hungry. **
*"Wanna get something to eat? My treat!" Spike asked.
*"Sure! Ah could go for a bite!" Apple Bloom said.
*"Great, I know a place near by that's great!"
*They then headed for Sugarcube Corners where they find a certain pink haired pony helping Mr. and Mrs. Cake around the shop.
*"Hey there Spike! What brings you over to Sugarcube Corners?" Pinkie Pie asked, she then notices the dragon girl with him and gasp. "Who's your friend? Are you new in town? Hi I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name? What brings you to Ponyville? Do you like parties? Cause I like parties!"
*"Um yeah, my name's Alice." Apple Bloom said.
*"Pinkie dear, could you take these to the back for me?" Mrs. Cake asked, handing her some items.
*"Okie dokie lokie Ms. Cake!" Pinkie Pie said as she takes the items to the back.
*"I'm sorry about her dear." Ms. Cake said.
*"Aw that's alright, she's just being Pi-ah mean... Herself!" Apple Bloom said, almost blowing her cover.
*"Now then, what can I do for you two?" Mrs. Cake asked.
*"Well we just came over to get something to eat. So what do you recommend?" Spike asked.
*"Well I just so happen to have these two freshly made Sapphire Cupcakes that the two of you can enjoy!"
*"Wow really, those would be great! How much?" Spike asked eager to get his hands on the jeweled covered cakes.
*"Oh it's on the house Spike, so you two enjoy them." Mrs. Cake said as she smiled.
*"Really thanks... Wait, did you know we were coming?" he asked.
*"Oh let's just say a little bird told me you might come over with a friend."
*"That's silly Mrs. Cake, Twilight's a pony not a bird!" Pinkie Pie said laughing a little as she pops out of nowhere making everypony and dragon jump.
*"Twilight?" Spike said curious.
*"Yeah, she came here a little while ago and told us that you were showing a new friend around town! She figure you might come here for a snack and asked if we can make some Sapphire Cupcakes for you! So we did!"
*"Oh really, I'll have to thank her." Spike said as they give him the cupcakes. "Here Alice, try one they're really good." He hands Apple Bloom one of the cupcakes.
*"Thanks Spike." Apple Bloom said, not sure that she'll like it. (Well here we go.) She thought to herself before she took a bite. "Mmmm!!! This is really good!" She said as she takes another bite.
*Spike then laugh a little. "Told ya!" He said as he started eating his.
*They soon left Sugarcube Corners once they finished their cupcakes.
*"Later Mr. and Mrs. Cake!" Spike said as he waved goodbye.
*"And thanks for the cupcakes!" Apple Bloom said also waving goodbye.
*"Your very welcome dears and take care!" Mrs. Cake said as she saw them leave. "That Alice is such a sweet girl. I'm glad Spike found someone he can relate to, kind of reminds you of the time we first met huh?"
*"It certainly does." Mr. Cake agreed as they cuddled a little.
*"I'm glad too for them, but there's still one thing I don't get." Pinkie Pie said.
*"And what's that Pinkie?" Mrs. Cake asked.
*"Why is everypony calling her Alice?" Pinkie Pie asked leaving Mr. and Mrs. Cake a little confuse about what she meant.
*End of Chapter 5
"So, is there anywhere else ya wanna go next Spike?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Hmm... Ah!" Spike then realizes that it's almost sunset. "There is actually one more place I'd like to show you, come on!" Spike said as he takes her by the hand.
Mean while back at Zecora's. Zecora is still hard at work at trying to find a way to change Apple Bloom back to her former self.
"Aaaaaaahhh! What could be missing from this puzzling stand, I've search all I have yet I don't understand!" Zecora said trying to figure out the cure.
Then suddenly another gust of wind blows through the window and in that quick moment Zecora notices a blue leaf floating by. She recognizes the leaf and quickly looks out the window to see if she was correct. It didn't take her long to spot what she was looking for, it was a Poison Joke plant.
"Of course! The answer was so simple that I can not believe, now I know what I must do what a relieve!" She said as she went straight to work.
She quickly mixes up a cure for Poison Joke and then grabs the bottle with the cure she first used on Apple Bloom.
"Now with the help of these two, I shall have the cure that will do." She said as she mixed the two cures, making the very cure she was looking for. "Now that it's done I must fetch Apple Bloom, so that I can change her back in this room!" Zecora then goes to find Apple Bloom.
At a cliff side near Ponyville we find Spike bringing Apple Bloom to one of the vine covered stone walls.
"So why'd we come here Spike?" Apple Bloom asked when they got there. "There doesn't seem to be much here to see."
"Exempt this isn't what I want to show you..." Spike said as he moves some of the vines revealing a hidden tunnel. "...this is!"
They go through the tunnel and find themselves within a small canyon, that has a grassy field and a huge waterfall inside it.
"Wow! How'd ya find this place?" Apple Bloom asked as she was in aw at the beautiful site.
"I came across this place one time when I was helping my friend Rarity look for jewels." Spike said as he sat near the waterfall. "I come here sometimes to relax and think for a bit."
"Does anyone else know about this place?" She asked as she joins Spike sitting next to him.
"Nope, I haven't told anypony about this place. Not even Twilight!"
"Oh, ah guess that makes me the first one you've shown this place to huh?" Apple Bloom blushes a little and tries to hid it.
Spike laughs a little. "Yeah, I guess your right."
Apple Bloom looks at Spike as she thinks. (Ah never knew how great of a guy Spike is, he's been so nice to me, and all ah've been doing is lying to him.) She then starts to feel guilty. "Um Spike, ah need to tell ya..."
But before she could finish telling him, Spike interrupts her as he notices the coming sunset. "It's time!" He then takes Apple Bloom to a spot where they had a full view of the waterfall.
"What's going on?" She asked curious about what's going to happen.
"Just watch." He said showing her where to look by pointing at the waterfall.
Just then as the sun started to set a reddish orange glow from the sun started to shine through from the top of the cliffs. As the sun was setting the light moved across the area. But once it reached the waterfall the light was then reflected throughout the area, filling the area with a gold colored glow that was warm to the touch.
"Oh my..." She was all in aw at the glowing site.
"I know right."
"It's one of the most beautiful things ah've ever seen!"
"Yeah, it is..." Spike then notices how Apple Bloom looked in the light. "...beautiful..." He begins to have a warm feeling that was different from the warmth of the light.
The glow then goes away as it begins to get dark and they soon leave the hidden area.
As they were walking, Apple Bloom started thinking. (Maybe being a dragon won't be so bad after all.) She thought to herself as she smiled.
As they were walking back to Ponyville they came across Zecora.
"There you are my little one, now we can do what must be done!" Zecora said signing in relief that she found Apple Bloom.
"Wait... You know Zecora Alice?" Spike asked.
"Yeah." Apple Bloom said and then she looks at Zecora. "Ah guess it's time huh?" She asked as she gave a sad look. And then Zecora gives her a nod saying yes.
"Time, you mean your leaving now?" Spike asked and she gives him a nod yes.
"It's time to go child..." Zecora said noticing their sad looks.
Zecora and Apple Bloom started walking away until suddenly, Apple Bloom turned around and heads straight to Spike and gives him a hug.
"Thank you for showing me a wonderful time." She whispered to his ear as a tear went down her cheek and then she kisses him on the cheek. "Goodbye..." She then leaves with Zecora.
End of Chapter 6
Chapter 7: Confronting Feelings
As Spike walked home, he continues to think about Alice (aka Apple Bloom) and the kiss she gave him. His hand over the cheek she kissed, his face held a sad look at the though of never seeing her again. He felt so down that he didn't notice Rarity as he walks past her.
"Oh Spike, how...are...you..." Rarity said as she notices the sad look on his face. "Spike?"
"Hmm? Oh, hi Rarity..." Spike said just notices that Rarity was there.
"Spike, are you feeling alright?" She asked.
"I-It's nothing... Don't worry about it..." He said trying to hid his sadness.
"Now Spike, you know you shouldn't keep things in. Especially if it's making you this depress, now tell me what's wrong?She asked with concern.
"Well...okay... You see there's this girl I met today, her name's Alice..."
"Oh, is she the young lady you've been escorting around?" She asked.
"Yeah, how'd you know?
"I ran into Twilight and she told me all about her and how you were showing her around town. Did you had a good time with her?"
"Yeah, we had a great time... But..."
"But? Didn't you like her?"
"That's just it!" He yelled a little making Rarity jump. "I don't know if I can, because... because I..."
"Because you have a crush on me." She said smiling a little.
"Exactly! Wait what?!" He said shock at what he had just heard. "Y-you knew?" He then gets a little embarrass.
"Oh Spike dear, I've always known. But you shouldn't let it stop you from liking other girls."
"Maybe..." He starts to look at the ground and Rarity notices his sad look.
"Spike, did something happen?" She asked.
Spike looks back at the kiss Apple Bloom gave him and blushes a little. "Well... Something happen and I...I think I might..."
At that moment Rarity took one look at Spike again and understood as she smiled. "Say no more... But I believe I'm not the one you should admit it too."
"But she's about to leave soon."
"Spike!" She said lifting his head. "Crushes come and go, but love is a true rarity." She starts pushing to get him moving. "So don't just stand there, go to her! Go before it's too late and you regret it forever!"
"Your right." He said as he started running to Zecora's.
"Good luck Spike..." Rarity said as she watches him go. "...and may Cupid's arrow fly true."
As Spike makes his way to Zecora's, Apple Bloom gets ready to change back to her former self.
"Now this time without the boom, are you ready to change back Apple Bloom?" Zecora asked ready with the cure.
"Ah am.Apple Bloom said as she closes her eyes waiting for Zecora to use the cure.
With one drop Zecora uses the cure on Apple Bloom. A bright light circles around her as it lift her a little in the air. From top to bottom the light circled her, slowly changing her back from dragon to pony. When it was finish, the light faded away as it slowly drops her back down.
"It work, ah'm back to my old self Zecora!" Apple Bloom said, happy that she's a pony again.
"Apple Bloom?" Said a familiar voice from behind Apple Bloom.
She turns around to find Spike surprised at what he just saw.
"Spike! Why are ya...?!" She was surprised to see him there.
"Your Alice?" He asked as he starts walking to her.
"Well I...I uh..." She starts to cry and then runs out the door.
"Apple Bloom wait!" Spike went after her, but she was out of site by the time he was outside.
"My apologies Spike I wish I knew what to say, for I didn't expected it to turnout this way." Zecora said apologizing for what happen.
"It's fine... I gotta go..." He leaves heading for home.
End of Chapter 7
Chapter 8: Confessions & Concerns
[bAs the night comes in Apple Bloom returns home to Sweet Apple Acres and finds Applejack waiting for her outside.
"Apple Bloom, do ya know what time it is?!" Applejack asked, mad that she came back so late.
"Ah'm sorry Applejack, ah'll go to my room..." Apple Bloom said, hiding her tears.
Applejack notices her tears and sighs. "Sorry ah yelled sugarcube, ah just worry is all." She said no longer mad at her.
"That's not why ah'm sad..."
"Then what's troubling you lil sis."
"Well it's just... I-it's just..." Apple Bloom continues to cry, finding it hard to say anything.
"It's alright sis." Applejack puts her hoof on Apple Bloom's shoulder. "Take as much time as ya need, ya know you can tell me anything..." She said trying to comfort her.
"Okay... But, do ya promise me you won't get mad."
"Ah promise."
"And ya won't make fun of me about it ether okay!"
"Okay! Ah promise, ah promise! Now tell me what happen sugarcube? Applejack asked, curious about what happen.
"Alright... It all started back at Zecora's when this freaky wind blow through the window..."
As Apple Bloom tells Applejack about her day, Spike just made it back home to find an eager Twilight Sparkle waiting to hear about his day.
"Sooo, how'd it go?" Twilight asked, eager to know.
"Oh, i-it went good..." Spike said, looking a bit down as he goes up stairs. "Oh, and thanks for the cupcakes..."
"Sure thing..." She sees that something's bothering him. "Spike... are you okay?"
"I'm fine Twilight. I'm just...tired..."
"Did something happen with Alice?" She asked, concerned for her friend.
"Nothing happen, Alice...had to leave already..."
"Oh I see... I'm sorry Spike."
"It's okay..."
"Is there anyth-" Spike interrupts her as he spoke.
"If it's alright with you Twilight... I'd like to go to bed already..." Spike said as he went to his bed.
"Of course... Good night Spike." Twilight said.

Chapter 9: Waterfall Kiss
The next day, Spike wakes up still feeling down about yesterday and Twilight can't help but notice.
"Good morning Spike!" Twilight said.
"Morning Twilight..." Spike said, still feeling the same as yesterday.
"Spike..." She said knowing that something's still bothering him.
"Hmm?"
"You know I can always tell when something's bothering you."
"I know..."
"Is it about Alice?" She asked.
"Yeah..."
"I know it's always hard to say goodbye to a friend, but I'm sure you'll see her again someday." She said, reassuring him.
"I'm sure your right Twilight." He said smiling a little.
"There you see, plus you'll both always have the wonderful memories of your time together."
"Our time together..." He starts to remember the moments he and Apple Bloom shared, especially the kiss. And then he's reminded about what Rarity told him. "Yeah, I gotta go talk to her!" He starts to head for the door.
"Wait, what do you mean by go talk to her?" She asked, curious about what he meant. "I thought you said she'd left already?!"
"I'll explain later, bye!" He said, rushing out the door.
Spike ran as fast as he can to Sweet Apple Acres in hopes of finding Apple Bloom there.
(I gotta tell her before it's too late! She needs to know how I feel about her! That I... I...) Spike thought to himself as he was running.
As he makes it to the farm he finds Applejack, waiting outside and almost looking like she was expecting him.
"Whoooaaa there partner, whatcha hurry?" Applejack asked, stopping him on the spot.
"Applejack, is Apple Bloom here? I need to talk to her!" Spike asked.
"What about?"
"It's... It's something important I have to... No, I needs to say to her!"
Applejack stared straight at the little dragon's eyes and knew how determine he is, then she smiled. "Well alright then, but ya won't find Alice here ah'm afraid."
"So then do y-... Wait!" He stopped mid-sentence realizing she said Alice instead of Apple Bloom. "How'd you..."
"Apple Bloom told me."
"Oh, h-how much did she say?" He asked.
"Let's just say, enough to know what ya want to say to her."
"Oh..." He starts to blush. "So... Do you know where she is?"
"Well ah don't reckon ah know exactly where she is, but she did say she was going somewhere to think for a bit."
"Think for a bit...That's it!" Spike then realizes where she might be. "I gotta go! Oh, and since you know already could you do me a favor and fill Twilight in on what's happen? Thanks!" He said and left.
"Sure thing!" She said as she smiled and waved goodbye.
Spike rushes to the cliff side where the hidden tunnel is at. He goes in and finds Apple Bloom there sitting near the waterfall.
"Apple Bloom." Spike said, happy to see her there as he walks up to her.
"Oh Spike!" Apple Bloom said, happy to see him too. "A-ah hope you don't mine me being here?"
"I don't mine." He sits next to her. "In fact I'm glad I found you."
"Really!!!"
"Yeah, I wanted to talk to you about yesterday."
"Oh... Ah'm sorry ah ran away like that. A-ah was just afraid at the time."
"Afraid?" He looks at her with curiously.
"Yeah, afraid that after learning ah was Alice ya might not want to be with me, that ya might of... Hated me... Ah wanted to tell you but... Ah just couldn't stand the thought of losing you..." A single tear ran down her cheek.
"Apple Bloom..." He puts his hand on her hoof.
"Gasp!" She gasp when he touched her hoof.
"But I could never hate you."
"What?" She looks at him with a surprised look.
"In fact, after yesterday I couldn't imagine my life without you."
"What are ya saying Spike?"
"I'm saying that I love you."
And with that Apple Bloom smiles as tears of joy ran down her cheeks, happy at what she just heard.
"A-ah love you too."
They then embrace each other with a hug which was soon followed by a kiss. The beautiful waterfall acting as the perfect background for there first real kiss.
The End... For Now
Many years has gone by in Ponyville and a lot has changed over time...
Twilight Sparkle became the new mayor of Ponyville after the Mayor retired. She still keeps in touch with Princess Celestia from time to time about her research on friendship of course, but maintains her position quite well though.
Applejack still helps run Sweet Apple Acres, that now supplies apples and apple related products throughout Equestria.
Rainbow Dash lives her dream as one of the Wonderbolts newest members. She already has a lots of fans thanks to the president of her fan club Scootaloo, who's a big time extreme sports champ herself.
Rarity has become one of Equestria's top fashion designers making the Carousel Boutique more well known then before. Her designs are very popular among everypony especially to a certain well known singer by the name of Sweetie Belle who could never see herself wearing anything other than her sister's design.
Fluttershy still continues to take care of her animal friends which nowadays includes not just the local woodland animals but also even the Everfree Forest creations too, they've really taken a liking to her.
Pinkie Pie along with the Cake twins Pound and Pumpkin Cake now run Sugarcube Corners after Mr. and Mrs. Cake retired. They make some of the best bake goods Ponyville has to offer, with Pumpkin's magic and Pound's fast flying there able to keep up with demands all over Equestria. Not to mention together they also keep the Pinkie tradition of throwing some of the best parties in Ponyville.
And as for Spike and Apple Bloom well...
"Now is that the last of today's reports Spike?" Twilight asked.
"Umm yeah, that takes care of everything for today." Spike said as he looks over so papers.
Spike is still Twilight's assistant, but thanks to her position as mayor he's the mayor's assistant now.
"Great! Now that that's finish, we have just enough time before it start." She said with a smile. "So if you'd like, you can go on ahead. I'll meet you there when it's time, okay?"
"Okay, I'll see you then." He steps outside as a set of dragon wings magically appears on his back and he flies off.
Oh! And Spike's wings have fully grown in, but they were getting in his way a lot at first. So Twilight helps him out by casting a spell that allows him to magically retract his wings in and out anytime he likes.
"Oh Apple Bloom, could you come fix a small crack on my roof?" A pony asked her.
"Ah'm sorry, but ah'm closing early today." Apple Bloom said as she was closing up shop. "But ah promise ah'll take care of it tomorrow."
Apple Bloom started her own carpentry business, she's become the best carpenter Ponyville's ever known. Of course she does still help out her family at Sweet Apple Acres from time to time.
"That fine by me, but what's the occasion?" The pony asked.
"It's his birthday today." She said as she smiled.
"Oh really, well in that case tell him Happy Birthday for me!" The pony said as she walked away waving goodbye.
"Sure thing!"
Just then Spike landed next to Apple Bloom. Both looked happy to see each other.
"Spike!!!" Apple Bloom gave Spike a big hug followed by a kiss.
"Well it's nice to see you too Apple Bloom." Spike said as he smiled.
"Well it's only natural for a wife to kiss her husband, right?"
"Right." They both laugh as they still hugged.
Spike and Apple Bloom are still together and happily marred. But their love didn't stop there...
"So are you ready go?" Spike asked.
"Yeah, Pinkie has everything ready now and Applejack should be taking him to the barn by now." She hops on his back and they fly off, heading for Sweet Apple Acres.
AppleJack was then looking around the Apple Orchard until she came across the old club house and notices somepony inside. She then smiles. "Ah had a feeling ah might find ya here." She said.
A young purple colt with a red and green mane and emerald green eyes sticks his head out from the club house. "Oh hi Aunt Applejack, what's up?!" The little pony said.
"Well howdy there Blaze, your mom and dad needs your help back at the barn!"
"Oh Okay!" Blaze said as he came down.
...together they had a son named Blaze, Equestria's first dragon pony. Like his dad Blaze can also breath fire and gems are his favorite snack, not to say he doesn't enjoy a good daffodil sandwich with a side of hay fries of course. Oh! And also like his dad he has a set of dragon wings of his own, but they're still too small for him to use yet.
Applejack and Blaze make their way to the barn and go inside.
"SURPRISE!!!" Everypony there said together. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAZE!!!"
"Oh wow!" He said, surprised to see all of his friends and family there. "Is this all for me?!"
"A'course dear!" Apple Bloom said.
"Now go have some fun with your friends son!" Spike said.
"Thanks mom, thanks dad!" Blaze said as he gave them a big hug and then goes to enjoy his party.
As they all have a wonderful time at the party. Spike and Apple Bloom notices Blaze with one of his friends, a young filly who's had a crush on him for awhile now. They couldn't help but smile, as they saw their son and the filly blushing and smiling as they stayed together for the rest of the party.

Chapter 3: Alice the Dragon
"Your a baby dragon!!!" Fluttershy said all excited.
"Please don't tell App-... Wait, whatcha say?" Apple Bloom asked.
"A baby dragon, that's what you are right?" Fluttershy asked.
"Uh yeah, ah am a dragon!" Apple Bloom said as she sigh in relief at the fact that Fluttershy didn't recognize her.
"And you talk too! Do you have a name, where are you from, do you know my friend Spike?" Fluttershy asked with an almost Pinkie Pie excitement.
"Well my name is A- uhh Alice!" Apple Bloom said making up the name on the spot. "That's right, my name is Alice! Ah'm new here, so ah don't think ah've met your friend..."
"Oh then you have to meet him. He's a dragon also and one of the nicest friends I know. So I know you'll like him, come on!" Fluttershy said as she pushes her to the direction of Twilight's Library.
"No wait... Ah don't think that's a..." Apple Bloom said trying to talk her out of it, but Fluttershy was too excited to listen.
Mean while at Twilight's, Spike had just come in with the items he was sent to get.
"Hey Twilight, sorry I'm late." Spike said as he puts everything away.
"Spike, what happen? You were gone longer then I thought." Twilight asked.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I ran into Apple Bloom who was in a hurry for some reason and I accidentally dropped everything as she ran by."
"Oh really, did you see where she was heading?" Twilight asked.
"Well, it look like she was heading for Zecora's."
"Zecora's huh..."
Just then, Twilight heard a knock on the door. She open the door to find Fluttershy on the other side.
"Hello Twilight." Fluttershy said.
"Oh hi Fluttershy, What brings you here?" Twilight asked.
"Oh I came over to introduce you to a new friend I just met." She said as she moved aside to introduce her friend. "This is Alice, she a dragon like Spike."
"Well hello there Alice, I'm Twilight Sparkle." Twilight said as she greeted the young dragon.
"And I'm Spike, hey Alice!" Spike said also greeting her.
"So how are you today?" Twilight asked.
"Um hi, ah'm alright..." Apple Bloom said hoping they don't recognize her.
"Are you new in town?" Twilight asked.
"Y-yeah, ah just came into town. But ah won't be staying here for very long though." Apple Bloom said.
"Oh really, well you should at the very least check out Ponyville before you leave!" Twilight suggested. "Spike, why don't you show her around!"
"Oh ah don't wanna be a bother." Apple Bloom said.
"I don't mine, come on!" Spike said as he took Apple Bloom by the hand.
"Have fun two!" Twilight said as she giggled at how cute they looked together.
"Huh...?" Fluttershy said as she wonders why Twilight just giggled.
