Prologue

Hey names Alan Jefferson and I'm here for the anime expo at New York City at Niagara Falls with my foster family I say foster family because I was given away by my real parents. I found out that they were still in high school when I was born and left me on a random door step to my new family that I wouldn't leave them because they took care of me ever sense they found me plus they give me two older siblings a sister and brother. With a few fights then and their we get along great I remember one day I just finish my day of kick boxing club on freshmen year I saw my sister talking no arguing with her boyfriend then he did something I wish I hurt him worse he slap her and his friends that were near by grab her and I ran towards them and given them a taste full of hurt really I did I broke all their noses after that I was subspended from school for about a week they were arrested she thank me so many times, but a day she'll never forget as I have a scar on my neck as one of them cut me with a knife luckly it wasn't deep is it was I would be dead. Anyways I'm here at the falls enjoying the view waiting for the expo to start my sixth one in my life not my last either I'm only sixteen also I'm in my outfit that I put together and it looks awesome I also notice that their's other cosplayers here for the expo some people asked for pictures I was happy I was in the few!

I also have my top two one is a guy dressed as a titan from TitanFall awesome game and his outfit is amazing with the color ,lights ,and the weapon. The other one is a girl by my math and look she's about thirdteen she is dressed as a anime character she even dye her hair that have's two blue hair pins her dress is fully scarlet with a little white and black she looks wonderful. For my outfit is a bullet proof mask that my brother give me for my birthday I can have it and he can give it to me because he's in the SWAT team I given it a paint job like in the army of two game, but my own is fully white with red lines going downwards from the bottom eye lids I wear a long black coat with a hoody it also have's red on the edges of the hoody, sleeves, and at the end of the coat. I also wear a pair of gray thermal and pants with black running shoes.

As I look around I see all the groups my parents and sister sitting at a table waiting and I also see a group of cops taking a break one of the officers had his belt off and set it on a chair I wonder why their here as new laws were pass on 2014 last year everything been easy going. I then felt a tug on my coat I look down to see a little boy and I look up to see his parents with a camera I smiled under my mask and nod to them as I crouch down to take a picture with him he was beaming with joy a future anime fan here then as out of no were I heard a car and a scream from a woman I stood up and look around to see everyone looking in the same direction I also see that girl in the scarlet dress a few feet away from me. Then I hear a truck coming this way people moving out of the way then gun shots as it was moving to police then they moved out of the way as it hit their table taking that officer's belt with it and it was going towards me. I push the kid to his parents as they ran off and I stand their waiting for the impact then I realize I'm close to the edge!

My entire life flash before my eyes to my days of first walking to now as everything went to slow motion when I got hit I see items I could care less what they were was every were as I fly upwards towards the waterfalls. I look around slowly and see that same girl also was brought to the same fate is this how we die I see fear and terror on her face her mouth open I then her my name it was my mom calling for me they were watching the entire thing as motion came slowly back to normal I reach out to try grab her hand to hear the girl's screaming coming clear and I yell.

"MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmooooooooommmmmm........"as a cold wetness touch my back then black the last noise I heard was a electrical sound strange to coming from water.

I feel nonething just bliss as I recall the hit I just revived stay here at were ever I'm at then I for no reason I open my eyes to see a blue sky I was saved, but I feel no wetness I'm completely dray I also feel my backpack on I have it on I remember it has my clothes inside and my mask was still on if I was brought out of the water must they take off my stuff to see I'm ok or something. I slowly stood up to see trees wait...... trees!?I punch myself to see if I was dreaming and I felt pain like any other I just forgot I was hit by a truck...... I groan in pain after of sher will power I look around I see rocks a few papers and a cup. I look in my pocket I still have my knife and my phone unharmed, but it was off then I look around to try find the girl no luck she wasn't here wait what is here! I was at the falls I felt the water now I'm in a grass field trees all around what in the heavens happen to me I stood up with sores all over I look closely more of my soaroundings just trees, bushes, and the garbage that's all I have to find a way back to my parents from were ever I am as long I'm still breatheing I'm going to find my family, but first I need to know my area and what place strange to the falls to some maybe large forest out of no were very strange wait I need to find that girl she must be scared as hell I need to find her too so my plan find her, start a shelter, and find a way back I know how to fight and to find and tell if is good food good thing my foster uncle was a survivalist I never thought I'll use his skills he tought me I'll thank him when I see him ok I'll go this way then I move my legs towards to what ever I might come to wait for me.

P.s. the cover art is by me is what I done at one night at random I love it and hope you like it too is now what I see Alan and the mystery girl. And I know this prologue is pretty short but I promise the chapters will be long.
