Previous Chapter“Twilight, darling, are you alright?”
“Wakey-wakey, Twiley, can you hear us?”
“Hell-o, anybody in there, Twilight?”
“Hold on nelly, Twilight, get a hold of yourself, girl.”
“Oh my, Twilight, are you alright?”
The lavender pony awoke from her stupor, dissipating a lifetime’s worth of fatigue. “Ughhh,” She blinked wearily. “What happened?”
“Heehee, I don’t know!”
“You went all googly-eyed on us for a second.”
“It looked as if you were in the worst of health!”
“Yes, Twilight, you looked terrible.”
“Meh, she was probably just dreaming.”
“Huh.” The lavender pony took some time to regain her bearings. She muttered reassuringly. “Well, I’m fine now.”
“Hmph, well isn’t that great.” A rainbow-maned pony took off and scanned the skies, as if an eagle searching for its next prey. After a moment, she motioned back to the group on the ground. “Well, are we going on the picnic or what?”
There was a general murmur of assent, and the ponies started moving in the direction of the rainbow-maned pony. However, as one of them was taking a step to leave, she spun around and exclaimed to the lavender pony behind. “By heavens, Twilight, you have to have the palest face I’ve ever seen on a pony before in my life. Are you sure you’re alright?”
The lavender pony blinked. “Yes,” She smiled weakly. “I’m fine.”
