//-------------------------------------------------------// Fluorescent Friendship -by Nova Nexus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Akrid X //-------------------------------------------------------// Akrid X Today, I fell like I'm falling torward something. Something that you Nor me, could ever comprehend. First Person POV I feel cold. Like the surrounding darkness wants me to turn into a bone chilling ice. I can't remember my name, or who I was. I've just been floating in this endless ocean of stars, wondering if Death's carriage would ever come for me. I also wonder if I actually am alive. Could I be alive, or is this just the afterlife I was assigned. I would truly know why I was here; if I could remember that is. I don't remember: who I was, where I was born, what I am, what I was doing here. What is my name? Did it have meaning to my life? Did my life have any meaning? These were questions that I have pondered for eternity. I have been trying to figure out the Universe's endless mysteries for about as long as I remember. Me having amnesia while floating through the endless vacuum of space was in particularly boring on my part. Always trying to remember my past lbe hard e. I think I was something called a 'Human'; a species of sapient beings that were relatively technologically advanced. We made cars, we made all of these things to help us with common problems that they had. I really don't know why I want to remember things like humans; I'm not even one of them anymore. And in truth I don't know what I have become. When I first woke up, I was flying through space at ridiculously high speeds. My vision was madly jerking back in forth, side to side. I was confused and disoriented; I felt like vomiting even though I couldn't. I was Instantly dizzy from this constant abuse. I was trying everything I could think; moving all the muscles I believe I possess. I was kicking what seemed to be hard plated pages with little flat stubs for what I guess is good balance. They also seem to have a plethora amount of spikes, like thorns on a rose. I tried to move my back and hind legs to try to at least lower my momentum. I moved something I didn't even know I had: wings. And like that, I went straight. Unfortunately I went faster. My eyes at the time were trying to figure out where I was exactly. I notice that I'm staring straight at something extremely bright. I tried to focus my eyes on the intense light and I think I blinked. The light was gone and I'm staring at a star. A bright, yellow star. I could feel what I am guessing is my exoskeleton receiving warmth from the star. Meanwhile, I just stare at it with disbelief. 'How can I stare at a sun just like it is, without any glare at all.' I was trying to solve out my dilemma was not easy to comprehend. I was wondering if me blinking was the cause of this. So, I just blinked and open my eyes to the same intense brightness I was met with before. I quickly blink again and it was the same yellow star. Apparently I have the ability for transitioning eyeballs. Kinda useful when I would get into these situations. At that moment, I realized something critical...I was moving away from the sun. I mean, The Sun from our Earth.....Earth! Planet, 70% water 30% Earth, air, bunnies, insects! All of these images just rushed by my mind, yet I can't remember who I was or where exactly 8was born or who my family is. This frustrates me to an engrossing amount.
