Chapter 1: Are You Ok ?
Diamond Tiara was quiet again today.
Ms.Cherilee didn't know why. She was quiet for about a couple of weeks. Normally, she would be happy that Diamond Tiara is quite and not causing problems. Also she has been very responsible with her school work. Ms. Cherilee couldn't remember the last time Diamond Tiara turning in her work, let alone getting an A+ on it. She's was mostly the one failing almost every subject in her class.
Ms. Cherilee didn't know what was happing. So she decided to talk to Diamond Tiara after class today.
The bell ranged and every filly and colt left the room. Diamond Tiara was the last one to leave, but before she could set a hoof out the door Ms.Cherilee told her if she could have a word with her.
Diamond turned to look at her. "Umm...sure."
She trotted in front of Ms.Cherilee's desk. Ms. Cherilee looked at the door to see Silver Spoon still there.
"Silver Spoon," Ms. Cherilee said, "just wait out there for just a moment. I need to talk to Diamond Tiara in private."
Silver Spoon nod her and closed the door to leave Cherilee and Tiara alone.
"So tell me, Diamond Tiara. How are you an this fine, beautiful day?"
"I'm fine." Diamond Tiara said with some confusion. "How about you?"
"I am also fine. But I must ask you something. This month has been an improvement for you and your grades."
"It has?"
"Yes, it has. I mean - the week your the only pony to get an A+ on the math test, and that surprised me. Last month you were failing my class, but this month has been an improvement for you. How did it happen?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"Yes. It seems like I was bored so I decided not to be bored no more."
She was hiding something. Ms. Cherilee knew but didn't want to say. It's true that Diamond Tiara got an A+ on her math test. Ms. Cherilee thought she cheated from somepony, but who she was the only pony to get a good grade on the test than any pony else in her class. Plus she showed her work to support the problems' answer.
"Wow. I'm surprised. I thought I flunked that test."
"But you didn't. I'm very proud of you. I hope you realize that."
"Thank you, Ms.Cherilee. Is it alright that I leave. I need to be at my house for something I have planned."
"Ok. You can go. Oh - and here is your math test. Show it to your father. I'm sure he'll be proud of you," she said with glee in her voice. She handed the paper to Tiara. The math test had a big smiley face with a "Good job, Diamond Tiara" on it.
Tiara's face lighted up when seeing the paper.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! I got an A. I got an A!" She bounced around Ms.Cherilee and then out the door. Silver Spoon was following.
Ms.Cherilee was proud to see one of her students happy. But something was odd about her. Her voice wasn't a annoying tone, but more of a soft and fragile tone.
Something was still off about her. Then Ms. Cherilee remembered early this month.
Early this month, when Ms.Cherilee was passing out homework to the students desk, she saw Diamond Tiara staring out the window.
Ms.Cherilee saw nothing outside the window.
"Diamond Tiara," Ms.Cherilee said, make the pink mare turn in surprise, "what are you looking at?"
"Oh - um -nothing! It was nothing," She said quickly.
Ms. Cherilee ignored it and passed her homework to her.
A few days later, during recess, while Ms. Cherilee was grading her students papers, she turn to the window to see the students play with glee and lots of excitement.
Then she spotted Diamond Tiara out on the field looking to nowhere. Just staring at the same spot from a couple of days ago. Then Silver Spoon came over to her side. Ms. Cherilee couldn't hear what there saying, but then Tiara looked to her friend and both laughed.
A few days after that, Ms Cherilee teaching her students about the math test that their gonna take in a couple of weeks. She spotted Diamond Tiara looking not at the window, but at the corner of the room.
"Ms. Tiara, would you care to explain how to solve this problem."
Diamond Tiara, again, quickly turned around, and her eyes was huge like dinner plates, and sweating.
"Um you multiply the problem and then you add what you have to get the answer?" She smile nervously.
Ms.Cherilee was flabbergasted. She was eyeing her the whole class time. She was sure that Tiara was not paying attention, she was staring at the corner for fifteen minutes!
"Correct." That's all she said.
A couple of weeks came by and Diamond Tiara was very quiet. Not interrupting nor calling the blank flanks "blank flanks" no more.
The CMC was happy not being called blank flanks. But Silver Spoon was just confused as Ms.Cherilee. Diamond Tiara was not talking to her no more. So she was quiet too.
Now, Diamond Tiara was trotting to her home. She had to be there in a hurry.
"Hey, Diamond Tiara!" She turn to see Silver Spoon running to her.
"Oh hey, Silver Spoon." She said quietly.
"I just wanna say congratulations on the math test. I got a B just like most ponies in the class, but you got an A+. The only pony in class to get an A on the test."
Diamond Tiara blused, "Why thank you Silver Spoon."
"What are you doing today?"
"Well, I have to get home. It's an emergency."
"Oh. Ok. Do you want to hang out this week."
"Sure, Silver Spoon. I would love to. Oh and sorry if I was ignoring you this past couple of weeks. I was just studying and staying focus." Their is something else she wanted to tell her, but she can't say it. Not yet.
"Don't worry. It's fine and I completely understand."
"Well I'm glad you understand. See you later."
"See you later too." And she trotted away.
Diamond Tiara needed to go home fast! She literally ran to her mansion non stop. She was out of breath when she made it to the front door. She was greeted by her butler. "Why hello and welcome home, Ms.Tiara. How was your day at school?"
"Today was great," she needed to catch her breath, " I got an A+ on my math test. Look." She showed to her butler.
"My goodness, Ms.Tiara. Your father will be so proud of you. Here you want me to hold on to you test and show it to him when he comes home?"
"Oh yes please. Thank you." She gave the test to the butler.
"I'll be in my room if you need me," she said heading to her room.
"Of course Ms.Tiara."
She ran to her room and gently closed the door.
"Eva," Diamond Tiara said. "Where are you? Are you here?"
She looked around the room. The room was empty.
"Eva," she said again. This time a little louder.
Yes, Diamond. I'm here
"Where are you?"
Right behind you.
She turned to see her.
Did you get back your test?
"Yes, I got an A+. The only pony to get an A+ on the test." She bounced up and down around the room.
Well I'm glad you got an A.
"Thank you for helping me study, Eva"

Her friend's name was Eva May Lisa. She was a human. Was a human. Nopony could see her. Except for Diamond Tiara.
