An old book was found in the ever free forest, it was old, very old, who knows who long it's been there, under the dirt, it may not even be readable anymore. Who knows. But lets see what the citizens of Ponyville think, an old adventurer from Ponyville who lived 100 years ago? The ponies in Ponyville will love to hear what's in this book, it will be part of their history. Let's find out…

Life In The Everfree Forest

The Discovery

One day, one of Ponyville's archaeologists was walking down The Everfree Forest, far away from Ponyville and deep in the forest, a few mile's at least. He was going to a tree in The Everfree Forest because some of his friend's reported a finding, something suspicious that he wanted to investigate. He was about half a mile away from the tree that caught his friend's attention, when he tripped over something, something old and forgotten. He pulled it out of the ground, he could not believe his eye's, what he had stumbled across.

"I can't believe I found this, this thing is legendary, hmm, I think the mayor might want to see this. I must go back, forget the tree, this is far more important."

The Archaeologist ran back to Ponyville as fast as he could. About one and a half hour's later, when he finally made it out of the forest, he burst through town hall's door's. He started screaming at The Mayor's accountant with excitement,

"I NEED TO SEE THE MAYOR!"

"Im sorry, you can't at the moment, she in a very important meeting with Prince-" The accountant said as she was rudely cut off by The Archaeologist.

"IT WILL HAVE TO WAIT, IVE FOUND SOMETHING FAR MORE IMPORTANT!"

The Archaeologist slammed into The Mayor's office door's.

"MAYOR, I HAVE SOMETHing to repo- umm"

There was an awkward silence. You could see the stupidity and embarrassment on The Archaeologists face when he burst through the door, only to see a meeting between The Mayor and Princess Celestia.

"Yes? What is it?" The Mayor asked.

"Um nothing, I- I'll come back later." The Archaeologist replied.

"No stay, we were just finishing a meeting about the high rate's of damage in Ponyville caused by one particular pony, and how to sort it out. But you seem to be very exited, I'm sure what you need to say is far more exiting." Celestia said in a calm voice.

"Really? You don't want to finish the meeting off?" The Archaeologist asked.

"Well you are Ponyville's archaeologist aren't you? When an archaeologist come's bursting through the door and look's very exited, chance's are, he's found something. Am I right?" Celestia asked.

"Yes, yeah, I have found something, I believe it may be part of the mystery of what happened to a very famous pony who once lived in Ponyville." The Archaeologist explained. "Look at the name of the book."

The Archaeologist passed the old, dusty book to The Mayor. The Mayor was in shock.

"No, it can't be!" The Mayor screamed in delight. "Princess, will you do me a favour, will you please rally up everypony in town and get them to town hall, I believe they will want to see this."

"Yes, of coarse." Celestia said, she flew off to inform everypony.

About thirty minutes later, when everypony was gathered around, The Mayor started to tell everyone what The Archaeologist had found.

"Hello everypony! Now, I bet your wondering why I have asked each and every one of you to town hall. Well, our archaeologist has found something in The Everfree Forest that could be part of Ponyville's history. It's a legendary book by an explorer who lived 100 year's ago in Ponyville. It tell's you her final day's when she got lost in The Everfree Forest. Everypony, I present to you The Final Day's Of Danger Doo!" The Mayor explained.

The Book

My name is Danger Doo and this will be my diary for while I'm in here, I'm in The Everfree Forest, that creepy forest with weird, unexplainable thing's in it. I'm lost here, my hot air balloon was shot down by a dead archer, they really know how to use their arrow's. If I'm going to be in here long, I'm going to have to stay away from them, and maybe stay away from everything else too. The sun is going down and the moon is rising. It's much more dangerous here after hour's. I'm going to have to find shelter and start repairing my hot air balloon tomorrow.

My First Night

It's been three hour's since the sun went down. I have found shelter. It is a small area, enclosed and camouflaged from the outside, and I could see the sky clearly, it was nice, I have all my material's for my hot air balloon and load's of supplies, food and there was a crystal clear pool of drinkable water for me, I had enough to survive here for day's, my hot air balloon is only a quarter of a mile away. I'm doing good so far.

My First Day

The night was peaceful, I couldn't here the slightest sound, no sign of those dead archer's that shot me down. Hopefully they will never find me. The sun is blazing with heat and judging by it's position in the sky, it's about ten o clock. I better start fixing up my hot air balloon. I will come back and report what I have done later today.

My Second Night

I had to quit working earlier today, I swear I saw something look at me in the darkness today. Maybe it was a dead archer or a timber wolf, I don't know. but I didn't like it and I think it may have followed me back to my base, I keep hearing something walking circling my base, trying to find it's way in, im keeping quiet as I can, hopefully it will think im not here.

My Second Day

I was terrified last night, I thought it was going to kill me, what ever it was, I carved a wooden sword to protect my self for when I go out to repair my hot air balloon and hopefully nothing will see me, unlike yesterday. Chance's are that thing's may start to go wrong, and I don't like it, im determined to get out of here as fast as I can.

My Third Night

Surprisingly, nothing went wrong which I find very suspicious. But now I have problem's, I've ran out of food and almost out of water. Thing's are not going well, there is no debate now, I must get out of this nightmare... Thing's have just gotten worse, a dead archer has found me, it's gotten into my base, I will need to continue this entry later.

My Third Night Continued

I have won the battle between me and the dead archer, but I have lost my weapon, I am not defenceless. But I think some timber wolf's heard the fight, they are outside, once again im staying quiet as I can.

My Third Day

I have almost no time to write this, the timber wolves have found their way into my base, Im running for my life, I'm so close to my hot air balloon where the rest of my supplies are-

My Final Entry

I guess this is it, the end of me, my death, I have fell down a huge cave in the ground, I've broken two of my leg's and a wing, I cannot get up, I lost my quill when I fell down the cave, I'm now writing in blood. I can hear the timber wolf's coming to eat me, kill me, I have moment's before I go. I am a famous adventurer and no pony will ever know what happened to me unless they find this book, which is very unlikely, hopefully somepony will. And if you do find this, do one last thing for me, I have a daughter, and if she's still alive when you find this, tell her what happened to me, give her this book to read so she knows what happened to me, tell her that I love her dearly. Her name is Daring Doo, she's very brave and I'm sure she can handle reading this, hopefully she will carry on what my family does throughout our generation's, exploring. That is the only thing I wish for in life now... This is the story of Danger Doo, and this is how I died.
