A long, long time ago, no mortal pony dwelled Equis' Sky.

Graceful, ageless Alicorns danced in it, their magic shining like stars. Immense, powerful Dragons obscured it, blocking the sun with their simple, sheer size. But only ferocious winged wolves, able to fly faster than any gale, could call it their home.

A long time ago, two gods challenged each other in the Sky for the fate of the world under it. With them, many others called their own champions, and the top of the world was tainted by war.

A winged wolf, Callistephus, champion of the deities himself, and Firefly, an Alicorn who loved flight more than the magic she was bred for, found themselves in the middle of it, and fought to protect this land and achieve their dreams.

Set 20000 years before the show, millenium more, millenium less. Part of the Chess Game of the Gods prequel.
