Trixie does not have all day for you to give her just one simple damage report! Get on with it!" the blue unicorn shouted at the stallion sitting behind the desk, waving her forehooves around like a crazy person. "I know, I know. I am receiving the final details now, Miss Lulamoon. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Yes, thank you, Girder, I'll let her know right away," the businesspony said, nodding as he spoke through his earpiece. "Well, Miss Lulamoon, it's official. Your house was damaged beyond any and all repair during this last storm. You'll have to find a new home." "Beyond all repair? A new home?!" Trixie shouted again, this time in pure disbelief. "And where is Trixie supposed to do that exactly? There aren't exactly a million open houses just sitting around in the middle of Manehattan!" she continued, her voice rising in volume as she went on. "I'm sorry, but I suppose you'll simply have to find housing in another town. You will of course be insured for everything that was destroyed in the process, so perhaps you'll be able to find some sort of smaller house in a smaller town. I hear Cloudsdale's nice this time of year." "I'm a unicorn," Trixie said flatly, accidentally dropping her "third-person" shtick. "Details, details. I'm afraid I've done all I can for you now, Miss Lulamoon. I have other appointments now, and I'm afraid I'm running a tad behind. So if you would please get going, that would be highly appreciated," the stallion said, crossing off a few dates on his calendar. "Ugh!" Trixie groaned, stamping angrily out of the office. "I'm homeless, not magic-less, you buffoon. I could still drop the roof on your stupid, dumb head," she growled angrily to no one in particular. She made her way out of the building and sighed. It didn't feel nice to be homeless, she decided. It felt kind of awful. She went back to her stage cart, the one thing she hadn't lost. Well, the one big thing she hadn't lost, along with all of her possessions that remained inside, such as her hat and cape and her assorted magical supplies for her shows. She sighed again. "Guess it's settled, then. The GREAT and POWERFUL TRRRRIXIE will just have to go find someplace else to live... and she does have one place in mind." And with that, she decided to move on from Manehattan, and to head towards the only small town she knew about as well as her home city itself. "Ponyville, here comes Trixie! ... Again!" she shouted, marching towards the office of the nearest moving company. She would need all of her things, after all.
