First came the flooding,then the earthquakes,then the meteor strikes,these were the signs that the world was ending.I ran out of my house because my parents were killed by falling debrie. I looked around at the chaos unfolding around me buildings where collapsing,the ground was shaking and the road was collapsing.I looked at the falling road and and ran in the opposite direction.I rounded a corner into a alleyway,panting violently.

"Holy shit..."I said to my self.

My brain was still trying to processes what was happening when i heard someone calling my name.

"DANNY!"They shouted.

I looked around to see who was calling me when I saw my friend Gabriel,motioning me to go towards him,so I did.

"Gabe,what the hell is going on?"I said frantically.

"The worlds ending dumb ass,what do you think?"He said rolling his eyes.

"Gabe!Where did you go?"Came a female voice who I recognized as my good friend eve.

"Eve!Were over here!"Shouted gabe trying to get here attention.

Eve ran up to use and looked at me.

"Danny!your alive."She said happy to see me.

We were interrupted by another rumble of the ground.eve looked at me and gabe.

"C'mon,the others are waiting!"She said,walking off,motioning for us to follow.

"The others are alive?"I asked.

"Yeah."They both said in unison.

"Okay..."I said slightly creeped out.

10 minuets later

We were walking up the stairs of a abandoned building when the building started to shake.The three of us held onto the railing for dear life.I looked behind us to see if the stairway had collapsed,unfortunately it had.

"Well there's no going back now."I mumbled.

As I said that the building started to shake again.I could feel the stairs about to give way underneath us.

"Run!"I shouted.

Luckily we were close to the top so it didn't take long before we got to the top.I ran through the door and slammed it shut,I looked through out the rooftop to see what our situation was.The roof had a few cracks and holes it it but its was sturdy enough to hold our weight.I looked over to the edge to see the rest of my friend Jake,Keane,Jack,Peter and Ab.i

"Danny!your alive!"Said peter.

"Eeyup!I wont let this apocalypse end me!"I said "So whats the plan?"

"We heard that an army chopper is passing by in about 10 minuets,we hope they will stop if they see us"said jack.Hope still in hie eyes

We were interrupted again by another rumble and a loud boom in the sky.We looked up to see a meteor strike the earth about 3 miles away,and we still felt the shock wave.The shockwave was so strong it caused the building to violently shake.

"I don't think this building is going to last 10 minuets!"I shouted.

That's when the building started to sway.we were all pushed to the side of the building.I looked over the side of the building and saw what looked like a portal.

"Hey guys,look!"I said pointing at the swirling vortex.They looked at it"Are you thinking what i'm thinking?"I said.

"Are you crazy!"Said Jake"There's no way you'll make that jump."

I just looked at him.I started walking backwards to get a good run up.

"You guys are iver in or out."I said "But i'm not staying up here just to get crushed by a building."

They just looked at each other.Then the building started swaying again,That made there decisions. They backed up until they were standing next to me.

"On the count of 3,ready,1...2...3!"I shouted as we started to run forward,The adrenaline coursing through my body seemed to give me extra speed.And I could tell that was happening to my friends aswell. I placed my foot on the edge of the building and jumped off,everything seemed to go in slow motion as we fell towards the swirling vortex.I felt my body stretch and morph as i fell through portal.I could here screams of agony from my friends aswell as my own.I passed out from the pain.

2 hours later

I awoke from from my slumber to feel grass benef my hooves...wait HOOVES and to someone,or something breathing on me.I awoke to see i was starring into the eyes of a manticore. I screamed and jumped to my feet wait hooves and backed away,It was surprisingly easy to walk on all fours.My friends were still unconscious so I had to deal with this thing myself I quickly felt my forehead to see if I had a horn.No such luck,I then felt my back to see if I had wings.those I did have,I flapped them as hard as I could,I lifted a few feet but then i just fell to the ground.

(Shit!Shit!Shit!Shit!Shit!I thought,but then I remembered I could still fight.

I ran up to it head lowered to headbutt it,it just smirked and went to block my attack but I surprised it and used my wings to jump over it.I landed on my front hooves and used my back hooves to deliver a powerful kick to its back,It just stumbled forward.I took this opportunity and jumped forward,I grabbed the beck of its mane and slammed its face into a tree causing a loud cracking sound to be heard.It fell back onto the ground gasping for breath,I walked over to it and stomped on its face knocking it out.

"Fuck me that was intense."I said bringing up my hooves to my face"still got it."

This is my first story so it will probably suck but please like it would really help me a lot,also give it a favorite if you enjoyed the first chapter.I will try yo update every weekend.
