Now that Twilight has officially graduated as Princess Celestia's student, and Spike has grown to adulthood, it's time for the two siblings to walk separate paths. Spike, receiving a job offer in Canterlot, is prompted by Twilight to discover his own life. Conflicted, and with a heartfelt goodbye, Spike decides to leave Ponyville and his friends behind.

A chance encounter with a nature spirit pushes Spike onto a path he never saw before. A journey of introspective proportions, with familiar and eccentric characters alike, to answer the one question Spike has:

"What do I want?"
