Friendships are like candy, always lingering. Pinkie Pie finds a blind mare in an alley and takes her in. She soon finds out that this mare is a long forgotten childhood friend, Minty. And Pinkie still remembers her as the promise breaker. Will the two be able to mend their friendship? Or are they doomed to forever be apart?

Yes, Minty is the G3 one, but changed drastically to fit both the story and FiM standards.

Pinkie Pie was never a mare to turn down a pony in need. That just wouldn't be nice, and Pinkie was nice. So, obviously, when she had seen the mint green mare with the tangled pink mane passed out in the alleyway she had taken her back to Sugar Cube Corner, gotten permission from the Cakes, and set on getting her back to tip top condition. The pony woke up soon after being laid down in the guest room bed, and had looked around with pale pink eyes. Pinkie had realized almost immediately that the pony was blind.
