The Fight of the Red and Black Alicorns!
(Prologue) Unicorn
Load Full Story"Isn't Blueblood dreamy?" I flopped back onto my sister's bed.
"Mmhm," Rarity replied, keeping her eyes on her sewing. "Certainly. Along with being a big, overdramatic diva." Her sewing machine whirred and she actually looked at me for a second. "Perfection dear, could you hand me that rainbow thread? It was a gift from a friend..." I lit up my horn and passed it to her.
"I mean, he's a prince! And I'd love to be a princess..." I sighed in happiness.
"Sure he's a prince, but he's also a snob. Haven't you learned anything from my story of meeting him?"
"You're so lucky, Rarity. You got to meet Prince Blueblood!"
"Sure I did. It was the worst night of my life."
"Think he'd like me, Rarity?" I asked, leaning closer. "We could dance, we could kiss, it would be the BEST NIGHT EVER!" I sighed again.
"'The best night ever'? More like the worst night ever. The only way he'd look at somepony like us is if we were princesses."
"Princesses..." I mused. "Twilight's a princess."
"Sure is."
Our conversation ended with me camouflaging myself deep black, the same color as my beautifully braided mane. I was going to the library, and I was going to be a princess!
A deep shadow passed through the library. A book opened, and then a blinding flash of light.
"Spike?" asked Twilight wearily.
BREAK-IN AT THE PONYVILLE LIBRARY!
"Nothing was stolen," says Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Magic. "I just wonder what they were doing there."
"Perfection?" Rarity asked. "Something you want to tell me?" I walked through the doorway. She looked up.
"Oh..." Her chair clattered as she fell onto her fainting couch.
"How does she move that thing?" I muttered.
