My Little Pony: Dark as the Abyss

As the day begun the sound of birds cherp filled the air. To most it was beauty, but for Vex it was an alarm clock. He raised up and hit his head on the top of the tent. Oh right he forgot were he was. He yawned which cleared out his ears. He could hear voices. It was hard to tell by the fact he was still half asleep so he leaned his ear next to the tent.

"I don't care whos in charge" said a voice. Vex has fully awaken it was Rarity.

"We need more survivors so what part of that did you not get." Said the second voice who's sounded like Rainbow Dash's.

"You actually think that trust worthy people just grow on trees remember what happened to Carrot Top." said Rarity

"Yes" said Rainbow Dash. "I did remember I dug the hole and put the knife through her skull.

"I j-j-just." Rarity sighed " I trust your judgement I just don't want to repeat that, especially if the person were digging a hole is one of us or Futtershy. Do you understand."

"Yeah."

"Alright i'll find some firewood." Then after that the noise of someone trotting off could be heard. Then a someone sigh. Vex decided to wait for a little bit not wanting to know that he was listening in. It felt like about fifteen minutes later then vex moved out of the tent. Dash was at a campfire that just looked like it recently went out. She was sitting there having a stick in her mouth poking at it.

"Its not nice to listen to things your not suppose to." A whisper said. It made Vex nearly yelp but Dash still heard him.

"Oh, your awake." Rainbow said as she wiped her eyes with her hoove." We will be gearing up and moving out soon so get what you can OK Vex."

"Yeah" said Vex "yeah alright." He then turned to were the whisper was heard to only see Fluttershy with her lips pucked in." You scared me." replied Vex

"Sorry." replied Fluttershy " I didn't mean to." Vex put his hoof on her shoulder and guided her backwards behind a tent.

"How did you know I was listening." said Vex.

"I poked my head out of my tent and saw your shadow moving around." said Fluttershy.

"Okay just don't scare me like that ok."

"Okay again I'm sorry."

"Your fine just be careful at what you do out here okay."

"Okay" then Fluttershy walked off. Vex then went back into his tent and opened his duffle bag. He then got out a glass bottle of water that had a cork in it. Vex popped off the cork then drank a little. He then push the cork back into a bottle. It was then an hour or so and they all got there stuff together. They was heading south were eventually an image of a small town was in view. Before he could ask what town it was Fluttershy went next to him.

"That use to be my home."said Fluttershy

"Really?" replied Vex

"Yeah it was called Ponyville." Vex heard about it but not good things.

"I heard of it."started Vex." It was a small town."

"Oh' yes it was." replied Fluttershy.

"Ain't it a ghost town now."

"Yeah which is good cause there hardly any of those things. They usually go to the more popular cities." Wow, if that's the case then he's glad he didn't live at Manehattan. They past through several buildings. Some were standard and others were outragus. There was even one that looked like a gingerbread house which Fluttershy explained that it was one of her best friend's house. They then started making there way into the country side of town. It was a ten minute trip but they reached there destination. What stood before them was a barn that had a sign that read Sweet Apple Acre. The paint on the sign though was now peeling off. About a few acres away was a house that looked like it could hold just a regular family and next to it is a barn that was red but once again the paint was peeling off.

"Finally" said Rainbow." Vex rember how I said we were looking for friends."

"Yeah"replied Vex.

"This is it" said Dash" This is were we can live out our days." Rainbow then turned around and gasped. In the window was the shadow of a mare that looked like a cowboy hat.

"Its her she's alive."Rainbow then sprinted across the field when one of those things had popped out of the ground. There called sleepers. This one was pale yet dirty from hiding in the dirt. Its head was the worse cause it was the only wound. Its upper lip had been ripped off which showed a row of filed down teeth from eating meat. Dash had screamed and drew her gun. Rarity had tried to yell no, but it was to late. The shot was heard for miles and even scared Applebloom and Fluttershy. The next thing that was heard was a booming roar. Everyone turned around to see a group of very tall and very thin monsters which were originally eating a dead cow corpse. Now they saw us and the monsters bolted forward towards them..
