To the moon and back

Luna sat upon her throne and was bored, Nec wasn't exactly loose so he kept quiet and stood at attention all night. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, she felt sleep coming to her but she still had two more hours till she had to lower the moon. She sighed and began to let her mind wander, she began to think of Shadow March, "What is it about you that attracts me to you?" she asked in her head. She began to imagine him standing before her,  an earth pony stallion, he was thirty five, his coat was grey and his mane was black. His cutie mark was that of black footsteps and his rump was quite- "What am I thinking? I mean what attracts me non-sexually" she scolded herself.

He was kind hearted, he has been raising a filly all on his own and she has been turning out fine. He often would listen to her gamer non-sense, he didn't play unless she told him to, he would also listen to her personal issues. She smiled and nodded as she thought of that as one of her favorite traits, she recalled visiting his daughter's dreams, she was quite the lucid dreamer for a nine year old. From her dreams, she could see how her father was away from work. She would often imagine him with some faceless mare and being happy together, the purple filly would fly to them with her small wings and hug them both.

"She wants a mother and her father's happiness...hehe, how nice it would be if I could help both of them," she thought till she began to argue against herself. "Why do you even love him? He is a useless mortal like the rest of them! I need to stop wasting time with such foolish thoughts." She shook her head and frowned, there would always be that one part of her that would be against her happiness. She wished she could just get that fairy tale life where the princess finds her true love and they live happily ever after.

"Your highness, princess Celestia requests you lower the moon, it is time for the sun to rise," said Nec as he saluted from his spot, Luna nodded and walked to her balcony, she began her ritual and once it was over she came up with an idea.

"I'm going to pay him a visit!" She smiled and ran to her room, Nec bowed as she passed and went to the guard locker room. She reached her room and opened a cabinet full of small vials and bottles. "Gonna need some stamina with anti-sleep, hmm..." she looked around but found none. "I could just use my magic...but I don't want to just waste it foolishly, plus the potion tastes like grape!" She went to the throne room and saw her sister there, reading the local newspaper with a slice of cake by her on a small table.

"Hello Lulu, what is up?" said Celestia, she was only informal with her sister.

"I want to spend the day with a...friend so I'm gonna be out but I'll be sure to get some potion to be awake," Luna replied, trying to convince her sister.

"Ooh, so he must be special, do I know him?" she teased, Celestia was fully aware of her predicament with Shadow but just loved to pretend she didn't to keep teasing her sister. "Well, by all means, go spend the day with him. I'm sure he'll be happy to see you." With a sassy smile and a wink, she returned to her morning paper.

Luna smiled and pranced out of the throne room, she was excited to go see her beloved till a voice in her head started to argue against her, "What did I say about feeling anything about him!? He will only break you down and thwart our ability to control the night!" She stopped skipping and noticed she was at the gates. "What if he is different? What if you are lying to me?" she asked herself. "I may have controlled you once but I would not do anything to hurt you fool, I do care even if you don't believe so...just do as you please but be warned: He may not be so great as you may think." With that, she stopped arguing with herself and walked into the city, even though she was a princess she could walk about without much trouble.

Shadow awoke, he stretched and sat up. He looked about and saw the sun's rays leaking into his room, he got up and trudged towards the kitchen, "Time to make some breakfast." He took out some supplies from the refrigerator, he was planning on making some cinnamon pancakes. As he mixed the ingredients, he hummed a soft tune, it was one he would often hear his mother hum as she worked in the kitchen. He heard tiny footsteps coming from behind him, he turned around and saw his filly in her pajamas with a tired face.

"Mmm...daddy? What are you making?" she rubbed her eyes and yawned a cute yawn.

"Some cinnamon pancakes, want some sweetie?" he smiled

"mmhmm,,," she walked to the table and sat down, she laid her head on the table and kicked her feet about.

Shadow poured the batter onto a pan and started cooking, he chopped some strawberries and put them into his daughter's pancakes. He flopped them on a plate and set them by her head, "Breakfast is served my lady." He bowed and went on to cooking his own, Autta giggled and started eating, she enjoyed the taste and the hidden strawberries. He sat down and started to eat as well, he smiled and stuffed his face, the potion always had this after effect of making him feel like he was starving.

Once he finished, Autta walked up to him and hugged him, "Thank you daddy, it was delicious!"

"I'm glad sweetie, now go get ready for school, I'll go see you off okay?" she nodded and ran to her room. After twenty minutes of running around for a missing shoe, they both headed to Canterlot's school for gifted pegasi, he hugged her and kissed her cheek. "Have a great day sweetie, I'll come pick you up once you are done, okay?"

"Okay daddy, bye!" she waved and ran inside the building. Shadow stood there for a bit and smiled, he turned around and was surprised to find Luna glaring at him from across the street, her face was flushed and she had a bottle in her hand.

"P-princess Luna?! What brings you here? Shouldn't you be at the castle, asleep?" he asked as he scratched his head. Luna didn't respond, her eyes were glazed over and her cheeks were glowing red through her fur. He looked at the bottle in her hand and slowly grabbed it, he smelled it and it smelled of grape, "Is this the anti-sleep potion? Are you having a bad effect?" He looked at the label and his eyes went wide as he realized what she drank: Magic Mike's Anti-sleep stamina plus. "Oh goddess..." he whispered.

Luna leaned on him and held his hand tightly, "I...our body burns...please help us...w-we need you, please..." Shadow blushed and gulped. She pressed her chest on his arm and brought her face close to his, "We want you Shadow...right now..."

Shadow took her hand and started walking her towards the castle but she pulled him back, she shook her head and her horn began to glow. "Wait, what are you going to-" a bright light flashed and she closed his eyes, when he opened his eyes, he was at home with Luna glaring at him with hungry eyes. "Um...princess, y-you aren't yourself right now...just relax and it will wear off."

She shook her head and grinned, "No...we want you and we will get what we want..." she started walking towards Shadow and he backed away.

A voice in his head yelled at him, "Let it happen! This is a dream come true, let her take you!" He shook his head and frowned, as much as he'd love to have the princess, he didn't want it like this. "Luna, please stop, you aren't thinking clearly. The potion had an aphrodisiac effect, your feelings aren't real!"

She encased his body in her magic and brought him to her, he struggled to break free while two feet off the ground, "No, our feelings are true, aphrodisiac or not. Now obey your princess, I just want to play with you Shadow." She grinned wickedly and came close to him, she brought her face close to his neck and began to kiss it, earning a blush from Shadow.

"Ahh...n-no..." Shadow tried to protest but his body didn't. Luna grabbed his shirt and started to unbutton it, she smirked as she saw his chest start to become exposed. She kissed his chest, she loved how his soft fur felt on her face and licked small circles on his collarbone eliciting a soft moan from him.

"Oh yes Shadow, we will have much fun today, don't worry though, I just want to play with you," she beamed.
